Pedro Elías Corro is a producer and DJ from Venezuela, who grew up in the neighborhood of Catia, in Caracas during the 90's. Having grown up in the world of minitecas (mobile sound systems), Pedro Elias was able to develop his ear, as well as his DJ skills, from an early age. Particularly, by frequenting music gear and record shops in Catia such as 'Audio Jbl' and 'Djs Shop', which were the hotspots for all the miniteca dj's who were after the latest imports in dance music.
By digging through the crates of these shops, Pedro Elias found inspiration in records from labels such as Italian Style Production, UR, Dance Street Technoland and ZYX. These influences, along with Afro-Venezuelan drumming and Caribbean Dance music, inspired Baba to create a new form of dance music which would be later known as Raptor House.
As the technology for music-making became more affordable in mid 90s, the Miniteca scene gave birth to a string of new producers in Venezuela. Names such as El Mago, Dr Sampler, DJ Lemad, DJ Deep, DJ Yet (later known as DJ Yirvin) and DJ Baba. This new Venezuelan-flavored form of club music would become initially known as Street House, but as each producer developed their own style, new names for their sounds appeared; such as Town House, Hard Fusion and Raptor House, for which DJ Baba is the progenitor.
The tracks on this EP are a compilation of music that Baba produced between 2001- 2005, at the peak of the 'Raptor House' scene. Included are collaborations with DJ Lemad ['Mario Vol 3' and 'Aget Love'] and a remix of 'Teque Teque Alright' by Nick Léon. More

German producer/rapper/DJ, Sombi, steps up with her first vinyl release backed with remixes by legendary producers from three generations of club music: Yazzus, Jensen Interceptor, and dBridge, all of which view the original through different lenses.
In a rap with lyrics in her native tongue, the original mix sees Sombi extolling the virtues of discovering and accepting yourself, and the inner peace that comes from it.
The first remix comes from International Chrome's own Jensen Interceptor who hits us with an aquatic electro funk rewind echoing the Detroit bass pioneers whilst still sounding from a future oasis
UK legend, dBridge, follows this up with his "Surging Mix", discovering the hidden link between Drum & Bass and Detroit Electro and showing that even after 30 years he is still determined to take music to uncharted territory, never resting on his laurels.

Assembler Code - We've felt this one coming for a minute now. After an unstoppable run of releases along side Jensen Interceptor on labels such as Cultivated Electronics, Private Persons & Boysnoize Records, AC is finally flying solo with this 4 track electro assault masterpiece 'Mental Escape'.
Plugging into the title track 'Mental Escape', it's a rugged machine driven work out through IDM & Industrial landscapes formulated to present his vision of futuristic electro whilst still providing all the nostalgic Rother & Drexcyian nods we all love.
Now that the tone has been set, 'Simulant' follows suit. Entering the celestial sphere via some haunting sci-fi strings, we're slapped in the face with slamming percussion followed by a relentless acidic modulated baseline that takes us from one planet to the next at light speed.
The Journey wouldn't be complete with out his old partner in crime Jensen Interceptor coming on board for a ride. 'Type 2' is a classic case of past meets present. Scrapyard industrial groove ready to split speakers at your next warehouse party married with a selection of classic Alpha sounds to keep all the purists in check.
The thunder continues to the very end. If you're a tape saturation fiend begging for your next 808 crack hit, prepare to have your back bent in half with euphoria as soon as 'Hal's Machine Tool' is injected into your ears. We pull the trigger with his deadliest of weapons 'Trigger My Sequencer'. A full throttled four-to-the-floor doppler dance werk out. The expelling of his drexciyan demons continues with the polar cap melting 'Thermo Drive', a deep dive into aquatic funk & electro dub waves.
On the flip, slicing chord stabs and pulsing signals launch us back into the milky way with 'Halley's Comet'. The fusion of Kraftwerk inspired grooves & pulsing alpha juno synth lines pair perfectly to make it a certified electro cult classic. Lastly JX10 brings it home with a beautiful arrangement and showcase of perfectly executed electronic architecture, leaving us speechless. More
