8 reworks of rare and unexpected italian disco and funky pop music from the 1970ies. Not the usual electronic Italodisco classics, but here come some more organic sounding band-disco music from the time of 1976 - 82. Positive vibrations and high quality dance pop reworked for today's advanced dancefloors by Toy Tonics head honcho KAPOTE and his Italian friends BPlan and Paul Older. Some of these edits already have been released as bandcamp only, but because of extreme demand for vinyl Toy Tonics did this limited edition double vinyl release.

Here we are again! Courtesy of Valerie Dore. Numero due in the Super Sound Singles series on Running Back continues on the re-issue/update tip of inexpensive records.
Big in the charts in 1985, the Italian queen of "romantic dance" made her second single "Get Closer" a clairvoyant poem about… errr… life and love: "when the world is running down - get closer"!
Think stonewashed jeans, endless summers on Italian beaches, boats coming back to the shore.
Remixed by fellow country men Tiger & Woods, "Get Closer" gets sandblasted into our modern times and the necessary treatment to be the peak- and night time hug fest, it's always supposed to be. Add a run out tool by DJ Oyster and a gentle DJ-friendly edit by Gerd Janson of the original to the billboard. And always remember: changing your spell can save you.

For the next release on Rødhåd’s WSNWG imprint the label head invited Berlin based producer and live performer Peryl to his studio for various sessions between February and August of 2023. The result is 'KALLAIT' - five deep, driving techno cuts.

The vinyl release consists of four tracks with a digital Bonus added on top, all produced with maximum care and attention to detail.
