Subb-an continues to adapt and develop his One Records label with another EP from long-time collaborators Yamen & EDA.

As per usual - the duo's productions rounds up One Records signature sound perfectly: neatly reduced, modern minimal that doesn't shout too loudly for attention but is highly effective on the dance floor.

The 'Joe Kerr' EP is brimming with active, bouncing bass lines, darting stabs and pacy drums. Also included is a remix from the label head himself who sticks a new engine in 'Infinite Diversity' giving it a more potent, gritty drive. Man on fire Youandewan also weighs in with his take on Joe Kerr which interweaves tight stabs and drums with effortless flair - a sound that he's become renowned for and one that does the job on the floor without fail. A very significant release for one records this time round, with the label going in to its tenth year the first record of 2019 comes from Subb-an and Adam Shelton and features music made at a very important time for them. It was the last session done in the Berlin studio before Subb-an made is move back to the Uk. The Twilight EP will be one records 045 and remixing the A1 track titled Twilight is a personal favourite of the Label Metrolux’s XDB, a dj and producer that comes with a firm stamp of quality, playing at one records parties of late around Europe and delivering the perfect remix it is a real honour for the label to have XDB on board. 045 also features a space dub of Twilight and a third track titled Mirage, a 90’s house work out aimed purely for the dance floor. Back with more dance floor weapons, One Records bring you Alex Arnout and ‘One Nation’ featuring the legendary Tyree Cooper. Killer remixes come courtesy of Cocoon and Cadenza favourite Argy and Dame Music’s Bloody Mary. Dogmatik boss Alex Arnout has been a firm staple in the One Records crew since the huge hit ‘Vanishing Point’ was released on the label back in 2011. For this next venture on One he offers a true slice of Chicago house featuring the Midwest favourite Tyree Cooper. An absolute hero for Alex and label heads Subb-an and Adam Shelton since they first heard his seminal tracks including ‘Turn Up The Bass’ and ‘Move Your Body’, they all jumped at the chance of having him involved in the release. With a punching beat and deep chords holding the rhythm, melodic keys soon creep into the foreground, complimented perfectly by Cooper’s sensational voice. Argy takes the reins for the first remix, offering a peak time house bomb like only he can. A firm favourite in the One Records camp yet making her first appearance on the label, Bloody Mary twists ‘One Nation’ with her sultry edge. Dark and hypnotic, she uses her own voice with added synths and a deep dose of acid.

Brian Harden is a second generation Chicago House head, starting in 1995 under the wings of Glenn Underground, being part of the legendary Strictly Jaz Unit. His work on Detroit's Mike Grant and his Moods & Grooves label should also be noted.

One of his most famous works is his second EP on Cajmere's Relief Records, originally issued in 1996. The EP contains some of the most prolific drum machine action ever committed to vinyl and stands for the sound that brought Chicago House on top of the underground Music map in the mid 90s.

An ultrarare in demand DJ Linus EP from 2001 with 4 crunchy cool jacking tech traxx. The old vinyl release was strictly limited and was released under the mysterious artist name The Underground, but it was DJ Linus himself, who produced it. Worth the wait for this rarity re-release, which fits perfectly to the currently happening house sound.
