Multiples (aka Speedy J & Surgeon) - Two Hours Or Something
Venerated heavyweights Surgeon and Speedy J cement their Multiples collaborative project with a long-form album of tweaked experiments past the outer reaches of the techno realm. Recorded over the course of two days at Speedy J's STOOR lab in Rotterdam, Two Hours Or Something is what happens when decades-deep experts in the field plug their hardware in and jam without time constraints or crowd expectations. In these raw, one-take, no-edit sessions there are propulsive moments of techno and electro balanced out by extended beatless passages and a constant experimental instinct which drives the music forward into parts unknown. Following a string of knockout club and festival appearances, this is a fitting document of just how far out Multiples can go when you combine two such experienced and inquisitive minds (and their respective gear). The album comes in a special gatefold designed by Atact, and with a download-code including 5 bonus tracks.

Some stunning electronix, techno and ambient presented by Speedy J on the very first STOOR compilation (STOOR meaning Disturb or Interfere, and the name of his studio, The STOOR Studio). This is a compilation of recordings done by Speedy J and talented and respected artists such as Rodhad, Function, Mumdance, AnD, Colin Benders, Black Asteroid, Conforce and Subjected who all recorded in his large studio space in Rotterdam where Speedy J welcomes guests to experiment with sound and electronic live sessions. Known as a true sound designer Speedy J always is looking forward and exploring new technologies combined with his extensive collection of analogue equipment which he collected since his very first release on Plus 8 records in 1990. Striking moments from each collaboration are captured on limited vinyl editions of 25 each sold directly from the studio. To present this project to a wider audience the studio is proudly presenting its first compilation. STOOR Comp 1 holds selected highlights from the 12'' versions and the studio archive and comes in a 400 copies edition.

B1] Anastasia Zems & Radial Gaze - All Things Done (Chinaski remix) 5:16
B2] Anastasia Zems & Radial Gaze - Quarter 25 (SIRS remix) 6:05
SHORT INFO:
XXX016 consists of two original tracks by Anastasia Zems & Radial Gaze on the A-side and two remixes by Chinaski & S.I.R.S on the flip side.
While the original tracks are infused with dark industrial vibes combined with a sharp kick and throbbing playful basslines, the remix side takes a completely different turn. An (unexpected) almost trance-like remix by Chinaski is best described as a rollercoaster ride that only goes higher and faster. S.I.R.S. delivers us a disco remix with the most groovy bassline that will not go unnoticed on any dancefloor. This altogether makes XXX016 an exploration of different sounds combined on
one EP, exactly how we envision things at XXX. The artwork by Gees Voorhees also perfectly embodies this. More

Sales Note
At age 18, after flunking all but two classes, Coco Bryce (ne Yoel Yair) attempted to take a sabbatical from uni.
What was supposed to have been a mere twelve-month orientational period turned into two and a half decades of hard graft, culminating in this here album: City Pop.
The results are stunning, tho that's hardly surprising given the fact it took nearly a quarter of a century to finish.

Pavel Milyakov, AKA Buttechno, coming through with the kind of impeccably-produced, trance-inducing deftness we've come to expect.
A kindred spirit of the Oyster Cult, this is a union long overdue. While he’s often found working in horizontal zones, inhabiting the intersection between ambient and downtempo, these are dancefloor dynamics for pure contemplation. Gone is the amorphous abstraction of releases like ‘PSY X’ and the kind output reserved for release under his birth name, instead opting for a lean, hypnotic kind of minimalism.
‘OYSTER57’ picks up where the ‘Inorganic Demons’ LP and aptly-titled ‘Minimal Cuts’ series left off. Saying that, the first three tracks navigate territory gloomier than the aforementioned; uneasy at times but deeply engrossing, smudged and frayed into heads-down interzones of tunnelling throb and icy melodic flourish. Girder-strength pressure primed for metaphysical experience.
Then, like a vestige of the finest turn-of-the-century progressive trance, ’bleeps’ ends proceedings on a slight departure. A showcase of restraint from the Berlin-based maestro and a fitting way to close. More

Yogg - Painless County
Yogg announces his own imprint Polarized Future.
Decomposing synth work and percussion, the new label takes aim at grain and layered sound design as a means of exploration through obscure soundscapes.
Marking the crosspoint between seemingly opposed club genres has been a focus of Yogg’s since his first EP in 2016, so it feels appropriate that the first record of Polarized Future embodies that sound. When textural and ambient experiments become the center of the sound, code-breaking rhythmic work is a subtlety, rendering ‘Exercise in Tragedy’ at its simplest a cold and moody batch of steppers.
