'With its roots in Leipzig, Bondage-Music has developed a cogent back catalogue which draws on the principles of Romanian minimalism whilst evincing a certain verve prevalent across dance floors in Berlin and further afield. Previous releases from Mihai Popoviciu, Pornbugs and NTFO, have woven a clear thread within the catalogue - a thread defined by the adroit use of distilled elements.
Adding to this thread with the next release on Bondage-Music is the masterful producer Sascha Dive. Based in Frankfurt and with releases stretching back to 2005, Sascha Dive has earned his status as a venerated contributor to the scene and has developed a musical identity characterised by a combination of deep, moody synthesis and precise, punchy drums.
His 'Beautiful People' EP develops these tropes and - as the name would suggest - suffuses them with a lick of dub. Sunken pads, deftly woven melodies and dense subs are rendered to a lucid finish across a versatile and effective set of tools which slot neatly into the Bondage-Music catalogue.'

Sascha Dive delivers his latest album ‘Back 2 Life’ this December, marking Bondage Music’s 15th anniversary.

Frankfurt-based talent Sascha Dive has a long and esteemed history within house music, releasing material via 8Bit, Raum-Musik and Kwench alongside his own Deep Vibes Recordings, while featuring in Cocoon Recordings, long-standing, ‘In The Mix’ series and gaining support from label boss Sven Väth alongside the likes of Guy Gerber, Maya Jane Coles and Laurent Garnier. He now returns to Bondage Music to mark the imprints’ 15th anniversary with fifteen essential house cuts across his ‘Back 2 Life’ LP - delivering the label’s second ever album in the process.

Dive opens up with the luxurious ‘Whispering Voices’ and ‘This Is My Journey’, two tracks fueled by twinged vocals, glimmering motifs, and dubby chords. The temperature rises on ‘My Life’, before the acidic ripples and spoken words of Messy MC on ‘In The Darkness’ unveils a subliminal slice of electronica.

‘Time Waits For No Man’ sees a standout collaboration alongside the iconic Robert Owens, while resonant kicks and evolving melodies can be found on ‘A Silver Lining on The Horizon’.
The second half unveils further entrancing productions such as ‘Interview With An Alien’, as progressing effects wrap around minimalist-style programming, while ‘Moonwalker’ and ‘Let’s Get It On’ lean towards deep house territories, alongside the up-beat and sun-drenched reverberations of ‘Dreaming Es Verda’ and ‘Tell Me When’.

The Woods“ seems to be the perfect sound for all these deeply missed summervibes. „Into The Woods“ is a pristine tech-house production that comes with a cool straight forward beat programming, very nice reverse strings-sounds and hypnotic house chords. A nicely flavoured chicago-club-housefeeling
and exactly how we like it! „Werewolf“ appears slightly more spaced out, however we are still deep in the house universe here.
Dive is pushing it a bit harder now - he uses crazy chord sounds and turns the track into an 11-minutetech- house-journey. After the summer flashback with „Into The Woods“ this one beams us definitely more into the darker and hotter inner city clubs. A massive tech-house-striker by the diver and we are
proud to say it is one of his strongest works so far!

Compared to most other artists of this genre he can for sure be classified as a young gun but there is no soundproof for his age in his music at all. Sascha Dive's music is loaded with a respectful amount of taste and house history you would normally find in the productions and DJ-sets of artists who started in the early 90s. And this is not unwanted: Dive admires and follows the big names of house and deep house and his musical efforts to pay respect to them brought him on par with his legends! So it's no wonder that Sascha Dive productions found their way to top notch labels like Tsuba, Freebase, Deep Labs (Balance US) or Raum...Musik. Not to forget his release for Ornaments and the Moodyman remix for "Deepest America". Having in mind where Dive started with his first album "Restless Nights" and what he achieved until he received remix-honours from Mister Kenny Dixon Jr. one could think Sascha Dive scored all goals he wanted to score. However the journey didn't stop here: Being a Cocoon artist and having played for some of the major Cocoon nights in Ibiza and around the globe Dive incorporated a decent amount of electronic soul and after-hour-madness to his music over the last years. Toy Tonics presents the second EP by Lars Dales from DAM SWINDLE with multi-instrumentalist LORENZ RHODE aka SOUND SUPPORT.
Their first EP "Higher" on Toy Tonic last year reached no. 1 of BEATPORT House music charts and this follow up probably will be similarly successful as it has the same high quality of music and dancefloor catchiness every DJ dreams of.

The new "Everybody Knows" EP consists of four extremely groove infected house music tracks that connect the good things of 1990ies house with the indie disco of the 2000s. Think of Daft Punk in the studio with Kerri Chandler and LCD Soundsystem and you got the sound!
