The Coney Island Rhythm Band join the Sosilly gypsy family with their first track 'Dancing Down The Path' feat. Jerk. Together they deliver a party hands in the air throwback any good disco & house fan should know!
''E.R.M.B'—Contemporary disco that oozes funk thanks to its plump bassline and jaunty, clipped pianos, it's augmented by slivers of classic breakbeat goodness, vibrant strings and an earworm vocal hook and ravey piano chords combine in melancholy fashion to provide a dramatic juxtaposition. BIG!

Minimum Syndicat - Tunnel Chase
Foxbam Inc is building up a fine head of early steam and after featuring the likes of LFO's Gez Varley and Mark Archer, that looks set to continue into 2026 with this latest various artists EP. It's a white knuckle ride through panel beating techno fervour, starting with Foxtrot's 'Tartan Tripper', which could be called paint stripper, it's that caustic. Collision lays down flat, hard, distorted drums on 'Plop Projekt', Egebamyasi offers up a stuttering, bass-driven club take on an unmistakable 80s electronic classic and Minimum Syndicat's 'Tunnel Chase' is a slower, darker, more foreboding closer that carries serious weight and a soot-black atmosphere from which there is no escape.

As a precursor to his forthcoming debut album, Crayon released the reflective single and video for the title track ‘Home Safe’ at the close of 2024, featuring French-Cameroonian artist Yamê and JPL of Australian band Tora. Now, he unleashes his new track ‘Diamond Miner’, featuring French multi-instrumentalist FKJ and English soul-pop singer ELIZA, continuing to explore the rich sonic world of Home Safe.
A central figure in the Parisian music scene and a trusted producer for French rappers like Josman, Dinos, and Prince Waly, Crayon now steps into the spotlight with a deeply personal, genre-defying, communal solo project. Home Safe traverses soul, folk, jazz, hip-hop, and electronic landscapes, drawing inspiration from his roots, community, and the complex idea of home.
The album’s genesis took place in a shared Paris apartment, where Crayon and jazz pianist Bastien Brison hosted intimate Sunday jam sessions. These gatherings blended live music, dance, and visual art, creating an atmosphere of spontaneous creativity and raw emotion. Musicians, singers and rappers, Leo Walk and members from his dance company La Marche Bleue, together with visual artists Enfant Précoce and Julien Bernard, all came together in this unique collaborative space, shaping the spirit and energy that permeate Home Safe—a record that marries the grandeur of jazz orchestration with the intimacy of bedroom production.
Following this vibrant period, Crayon faced a challenging personal chapter, retreating to his childhood home on the outskirts of Paris. There, over three years, he refined the album’s lush, warm sound—a seamless fusion of orchestral richness and quiet introspection.
“Home Safe is about reconnecting with all the music I found comfort in in our little suburban home where I grew up on the outskirts of Paris,” Crayon says. “Remembering the smell of the fire in the chimney, with my stepdad’s folk records playing in the background.” The album’s cozy, intimate sound reflects this nostalgia, wrapping listeners in a warm embrace. “I had this need for quiet music,” he adds.
At the heart of Home Safe is a question Crayon posed to his collaborators: “What does home mean to you?” The answer is heard across a stellar lineup of voices, including anaiis, Rhye, ELIZA, Yamê, Arthur Teboul (Feu! Chatterton), JPL (Tora), and painter-turned-singer Lossapardo, each contributing their unique perspective to this evocative sonic world.
“How I started making art, it was always about drawing what I was hearing,” he explains, hence the name Crayon. “And then when I started writing music, it was about being able to paint with sounds and create palettes. It's about harmonising textures together, like fabrics and shapes.” It’s an approach to production that’s guided him ever since. “You can hear the shapes, you can taste those shapes, I find it all very connected.”
The visual element to Crayon’s music is central to the world he is building. He’s brought this surreal edge to his visuals with the help of artist and Home Safe Creative Director and choreographer Sulian Rios, whose vertiginous papier-mache masks bring to mind the 1970s New York avant-garde. “It’s the meeting point between reality and something that will never be real,” says Crayon. “This is exactly where I try to exist.”
Rios created the movements and visual textures that would express the boldness and the beautiful simplicity of the songs he had been writing. Crayon didn’t want the album to be faceless but it didn’t feel it was right to put himself at the centre of it either. The characters created by Rios have allowed Crayon to feel safe and step in front of the camera for the first time, albeit not alone.
Home Safe invites listeners into a richly layered world where sound, image, and emotion intertwine. This debut marks the emergence of an artist with a clear vision, profound sensitivity, and a unique ability to translate the intimate concept of home into a bold, genre-blurring musical statement.

The Illegal Disco Limited series makes its return with a purple vinyl treat. Flip over for the B-side, opening with a collab between Van Pratt and BoogietraxxAon the viral Japanese gem 'Stay With Me'. BoogietraxxAthen takes control with the funky 'Moving Down the Line' before closing the record in style with 'Pretty Good Feeling'. A must-have for disco and edit heads alike.

The Jammers - Can You Keep It Up?
2
The Jammers - Halfway There
As it often happens, while Richie Weeks and Jerome Derradji were working on Volume 3 of the Love Magician Archives, Richie uncovered a couple more unreleased Jammers tracks that never saw release on Salsoul. He believes these songs were intended for a second Jammers album that, sadly, never materialized.
So here you go—two absolute stormers of NYC Boogie and post-disco madness. All the usual suspects are on the tracks, delivering that signature sound. What can we say but: thank you, Richie, for giving us even more heat to play out!

As the world sinks deeper into screens and algorithms blur the line between creation and imitation, Nubiyan Twist return with "Chasing Shadows", a record that reclaims the pulse, warmth and spontaneity of human connection. The band"s fifth studio album is a rich and restless blend of jazz, afrobeat, hip hop and electronic textures, exploring the space between the organic and the digital. It"s music that moves, sweats, and breathes, made by real people in real rooms with heavyweight features bringing together varied voices from the music community which they inhabit. Following 2024"s acclaimed "Find Your Flame", "Chasing Shadows" pushes the band"s sound further into new soulful territory under Excell"s expert guidance, featuring bright new vocalist Eniola and a glowing cast of icons and innovators. On "Chasing Shadows", Nubiyan Twist continue to look outwards with their music but keep the focus firmly on humanity and positivity. It is an album which crosses continents and which shamelessly celebrates our collective strength.

Elado - Debbie
International DJ and collector Elado is well known to edit lovers for his work on the likes of Funkyjaws Music, Razor N Tape and Eddie C's Red Motorbike. He has been digging in his vaults again, this time for Scruniversal, and turns out a pair of blazing Brazilian edits. First up is 'Sabor' ,which is a tight, funky sound that sways low with lush claps and wandering basslines, but the vocal harmonies are what make it, and your heart, soar. 'Debbie' then follows off with some soft, honours Portuguese soul vocals and instrumental disco-funk grooves that are super sophisticated and perfect to go with a cocktail at sundown somewhere nice.

The Notwist - Like This River
With »News from Planet Zombie«, The Notwist return to view after years of exploration and experiment with an album rich in both melancholy and positivity, sketched across a suite of thrilling, fiercely committed pop songs. It’s an album reflecting a chaotic world, but responding with warmth and generosity, to achieve creative and spiritual consolidation. Recorded in their home base of Munich, it reconnects with the security of the local to explore the troubles of the global: a guiding impulse writ large across this album’s eleven songs. It’s also the first studio album since 1995’s »12« that the band recorded together in the studio in its expanded live formation.
A new album by The Notwist is always a curious endeavour; their musical language is as consistent and resilient as the contexts for creativity are unpredictable and ever shifting. For »News from Planet Zombie«, the core trio of Markus and Micha Acher and Cico Beck embraced the plural possibilities of writing together, bringing songs to the collective and then arranging, rehearsing and recording that material live, in the studio.
The result is an album that’s energised, fully in ›the now‹, with spectacular moments where you can hear the magic bubbling up in the dynamic between the Achers, Beck, and fellow members Theresa Loibl, Max Punktezahl, Karl Ivar Refseth, and Andi Haberl. If »Teeth« begins »News from Planet Zombie« quietly and reflectively, by »X-Ray« everyone’s supercharged, blasting out future anthems with the collective energy cranked up high. The chiming keys of »Propeller« skim the instrumental’s surface like stones across burbling water; »The Turning« clangs its way into one of the album’s most heartwarming melodies.
»News from Planet Zombie« was recorded over one week at Import Export, a non-profit space for arts and music. You can tell, too; there are some pleasingly rough edges here, as though The Notwist’s striving for hazy perfection means they’re also confident enough to let the songs breathe and mutate between our ears. That openness to chance also takes in guest turns from friends both local and international, reflective of a cosmopolitan Munich: Enid Valu joins in on vocals, while Haruka Yoshizawa guests on taishogoto and harmonium, Tianping Christoph Xiao on clarinet, and Mathias Götz on trombone.
The Notwist aren’t best known for cover versions, but »News from Planet Zombie« features two: a gorgeous version of Neil Young’s »Red Sun« (from 2000’s »Silver & Gold«), which the group originally developed for a theatre play directed by Jette Steckel, and a take on Athens, Georgia folk-pop gang Lovers’ »How the Story Ends«. They slot into the album’s narrative perfectly, nestling in like old friends, revealing The Notwist as poetic interpreters. Played well, the cover version is both acknowledgement of fellow travellers and act of generosity, and The Notwist nail both aspects here.
And that narrative, the way the album plays out? »News from Planet Zombie« acknowledges the distress of our current geopolitical impasse, while reminding us there are collective ways forward. Fed through the figure of the zombie, Markus Acher explores our anxieties: »In the title and some lyrics I reference B- and horror-movies, which is a reference to the crazy world at the moment, which seems to be like a really bad and unrealistic B-movie.« But there’s a reminder here not to lose the thread entirely, that these things, too, will pass.
»The river here in Munich I often go to has been there forever and will be there long after us,« Acher reflects, pinpointing an important source of succour for him, »always the same but always changing. Very calming, but also always reminding me that like this river time only flows into one direction and you can’t go back. Every moment is very precious.«

At Your Pace is the second full-length album from Berlin-based duo Modha– drummer/producer Dhanya Langer and multi-instrumentalist Max Scholl. Big electro remix package featuring ADULT., Arpanet, Gesloten Cirkel and K1 on Solar One Music for the Exaltics. A nice divers package on colored vinyl with strong remix jobs by some established names. K1 aka Keith Tucker being one of the pioneers of Detroit Electro and Techno, followed by fellow Detroit artists Adult. & Arpanet, and a very solid remix by Gesloten Cirkel. All winners on this package! Recommended.

The Exaltics need no further introduction.. operating since 15 years now and become one of the stalwarts of the international underground electro scene. Robert Witschakowski-Jockel founded the project The Exaltics in 2006 as well as the electro/ techno label SolarOneMusic with his long term friend Nico Jagiella. Since then he published countless 12"s and several LP's with labels like Clone, Creme Organization, Bunker or his own label SolarOneMusic and worked during that time with outstanding artists like Drexciya's Gerald Donald, Helena Hauff or the legendary Martin Gore from Depeche Mode. He turned his deep cinematic and most of all charismatic electro into his own trademark. The collection contains 13 Tracks recorded between 2009-2019 including tracks from long out stock titles first time on vinyl. Probably the best overview over the world of The Exaltics.

The Exaltics & Helena Hauff - No Title
Booom! The third one in a very special series of shape picture discs on SOM. After the collaboration with Gerald Donald and Egyptian Lover on the last 2 volumes this time The Exaltics invites the one and only Helena Hauff. A1 starts with a short eerie intro and after that they come straight to the point with an UFO electro techno stomper with vocals from Helena. The flip side is floating around with alot of echoes and delays melodies and 303s, Helenas beautiful voice and this special old school feeling. Again the artwork is done by the amazing Godspill aka Mehdi Rouchiche. Every record comes with a download code. The outer contour of the picture is also the contour of the record and makes this release once again to a high collectable item.. Please Note!!!: This is a picture shape disc and the sound quality and also the deformation itself is not as good as on a regular standard vinyl! This is a concept collector's item! For the full sound experience, you will get a free download.

The Exaltics & Heinrich Mueller - Dimensional Shifting - Solar One Music Four years after their almighty collaboration on "Project STS-31 (Hubble Telescope Series Vol.3)", Solar One Music's cofounder Robert Witschakowski and half of Dopplereffekt duo Gerald Donald return with another cosmic album of their instantly recognizable trademark. Featuring ten detailed and luminous cuts of beautifully crafted emotional music, with deep narrative over tough machine groove, the opus takes you on a moody trip across craggy soundscapes made of abrasive tones, crossing the red line between tight-strapped melodic waves, subaquatic underground electro, and intricate structures. Expect nothing but stripped down layers mixed with chunky synthetic bass lines and stellar melodies over pounding 808 drums on this future classic tinted with nostalgia. Built as a journey through unknown territories, much anticipating "Dimensional Shifting" oscillates between moments of bravery on the dancefloor and moody sequences, keeping intact the aesthetic signature of the Jena-based electro emissary and the legend from Detroit. Album comes in gatefold cover and with download code.

Das Heise Experiment 2" marks the 6th album of The Exaltics. Lovely presented on double 10" vinyl with full cover artwork from non other than the mighty Godspill, who also designed the pre release of this album with an amazing looking shape picture disc. To hold things special the guys from SolarOneMusic put a full comic with the story of "Das Heise Experiment" in each record. The music ranges from dark experimental techno, electro, ambient and soundtrackish nightmares which goes perfect with the story of the comic. Also Gerald Donald collaborates with The Exaltics for one track , which is one of the highlights of the album. This music is nothing for the club its much more, a complete story to feel. Turn your headphones on and dive into the world of aliens, scientists and distant gallaxies. All records come with a comic book!!!

SolarOneMusic is proud to announce this special record. Andreas left us suddenly at june 20th in 2016 after long health problems. Around that time we finished with him "The Worst Of Gehm" release. He was so happy about this project!!! Even one week later we got the terrible message that he died. We put alot of love and effort in this project to give him his last big monument! Special thanks to all his friends and labels like Mathematics Recordings, Abstract Acid, Creme Organization, Psycho Thrill and of course Bunker. RIP in Andreas! We will never forget you!

Killer deep space electro techno on Solar One Music!!! Feeling inspired by the journey into space, SolarOneMusic has been working hard to create their own Hubble Telescope Series, which captures the feeling of space exploration through different experimental dance-floor tracks. As a homage to the Hubble Telescope and all the great scientists and engineers at the NASA and ESA and each part of the series comes with a cover print picture taken by the Hubble Telescope. The series consists of 3 releases featuring E.R.P., Heinrich Mueller, Rudolph Klorzeiger, The Exaltics, Robert Heise, Crotaphytus and Luxus Varta. Featured for the first part of the series, is the talented artist Emeric Di Paolo aka Luxus Varta including a stellar collab with Paris the Black FU!!! A superb spacey, atmospheric sound bed with a incomparable, hypnotic voice from Paris The Black FU. "Kuft" the first track of this release sounds like a space trip to another galaxy with his pulsating bassline and drexciyan soundscapes. "Ieloh" has a super warm melody with contrasting futuristic cracking sounds. Breigs is a twinkling sound bombardment with a mysterious voice inside. The last track called "Voxpol" completes the release with an agile, jolting texture, an alien-like conversation. Don't miss this journey into the deep space.

By now we know the Exaltics stand for high quality advanced deep space electro techno after their great trilogy on Clone records and most recently their great retrospective album "The Truth 2008 - 2013"on their own Solar One Music. As a follow up on that album they invited an impressive line up of remixers to work on some of their album tracks! E.R.P. , Gosub, Dopplereffekt, Objekt, and Ultradyne: these heavyweights and legendary artists have written some of the most important pages of the electro / techno History. A dream come true for the Exaltics and a heavy weight and highly desirable collection of electro techno on Solar One Music! Highly Recommended!

Solar One with another strong one! Three exclusive tracks from Clatterbox (check the Clear Audio release by Clatterbox!), and 'Sentinel' which will be on vinyl for the first time. This track was well supported by many DJ's around the world and garnered the following praise from uber DJ Dave Clarke: " Sometimes you get tracks sent to you that give you chills down your spine and make you feel pretty proud to have a radio show, and that track that gave me that complete feeling was 'Sentinel' by Clatterbox''. Coming on white Vinyl.
