Mark Ambrose has been locked into house since the 80s, mostly with a Chicago and Detroit perspective. His accomplished sounds come on his own Crayon label, which is where he returns now with another sophisticated electro outing. 'Reflections' opens on a deep tip with the sort of meaningful chords that demand you look inward as the ice-cold drums move things onwards next to a Mini Moog bassline. 'Star System' layers up shimmering chords again full of reflective energy over deft electro drums and 'Space Time' then cuts more loose on a deep house vibe with widescreen pads and a lighter mood filled with cosmic detail that suits late nights or sunrises alike.

Sarathy Korwar, genre-breaking drummer, producer and composer, announces the release of his seventh album, There Is Beauty, There Already, out on Otherland on 7th November 2025. DJ Boora is a Russian hip-hop head with a sample-driven style shaped by Soviet-era sounds and here he brings his class to Scruniversal's latest 7". Classic bits of gear like the SP-1200 and MPC define his approach here as Boora blends dusty loops and analogue realness with tight boom-bap swing, all served up with effortless finesse. Disco Mind taps into a rich vein full of Italy's freshest electronic talents here with a glorious new EP for retro-future dancefloors. Kicking things off is Naples-based Lance, who channels proto-house ruggedness and glossy Italo disco melodies on 'Renato Superstar, which is an homage to a cult 80s film. Club Mediterraneo follows with 'Prima Cala' and provides a shimmering Balearic bliss for sunset sessions, and Sparkling Attitude makes a strong first impression with 'Au Revoir Bonsoir,' which sinks into slinky deep house grooves with a touch of filter sync madness. Leslie Lello and Luksek join forces on 'Caravan' for a sugary-sweet nu-disco finish, lovely analogue drums and a carefree attitude.

New week, new heat from Monsieur Van Pratt, an ever-reliable edit master who this time brings his signature style to a trio of Spanish-language cuts. He tackles two classic disco anthems that are familiar yet completely revitalised in EspaNol as 'Caliente' kicks off with stomping disco energy and catchy riffs, then 'Toca Mi Campana' is a more funky and playful number with low-slung bass. They are joined by a deeper, lesser-known gem, 'Americana ', which is reimagined into a powerful dancefloor weapon with gritty, analogue textures and a deep respect for groove that will heat up any 'floor.
