Info:

Exactly 100 written songs after he came up with his initial "This Day" (from his recent debut album "Word Value") Rico Friebe, being in a phase of absolutely not feeling able to write anything new and meaningful anymore, brings "Don't Hurt Me Now" into this world - a somehow melancholic and moving yet catchy hit to dance into eternity.

"Don't Hurt Me Now" leads back to all of his defining past moments and one specific day in December 2021, perfectly pre-summing up all perspectives and emotions yet to be presented in heartbreaking detail on his next album "Faces Meet" in autumn 2023 and two further LPs in 2024, concluding a vast artistic and personal arch.

The final version of the song is based on mistakenly muting the completely wrong tracks while presenting three different versions of "Don't Hurt Me Now" on the final release, showcasing his different approaches and perspectives of sound.

In addition to this single, Rico Friebe pulls out all the stops with some bonus B-side material and presents the cinematically heartbreaking journey "?" as well as the hope-flooded "LOVE".

"It might never go any deeper than '?' - an emotional torture to record and to listen to somehow" is the one thing Rico has to say about this...
