Mor Elian & Rhyw - Liquid Silver
Berlin-based producer Mor Elian returns to Fever AM - the label she co-runs alongside Rhyw - for the first time in three years. Following the release of two albums as her Alloy Sea project and taking a break to experiment and develop her sound, Mor is back with a four-track EP, ‘Diva Test’, where she leans into a more colourful, playful side of her productions. The EP also includes her first collaborative release with Rhyw, ‘Liquid Silver’.
This year, Fever AM celebrates its fifth anniversary with a compilation release ‘It's Not a Bug, It's a Feature’ featuring tracks from the likes of Pariah, Ayesha, Peder Mannerfelt, Son of Philip, MSJY and more. The label will also be hosting their first Fever AM club showcases across different cities with current confirmed dates including London, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Dublin. More

Visible Spectrum is the newly launched creative playground of Yuri Boselie, also known as Cinnaman. Since donning the Cinnaman alias nearly two decades ago, he’s become a well known figure of the Amsterdam nightlife scene with long running residencies at the city's most lauded clubbing institutions like Club 11, Trouw and most recently De School. Next to his DJ sets, he's made early moves in label curation with A&R work for Rush Hour and Kindred Spirits offshoot Nod Navigators, and with his own Beat Dimensions compilations in the late 00s. With Visible Spectrum — defined as the electromagnetic frequencies visible by the human eye — a new chapter is born. It is an outlet for electronic music in the widest sense. Each sleeve will have its own unique screen printed artwork by Marilyn Sonneveld.
The first EP comes from Mor Elian, the Berlin based artist and owner of the Fever AM label. Here she offers the loose and hypnotic rhythms of 'Clairvoyant Frog' which is deep and atmospheric, like some sort of primordial techno soup. 'Shoshana's Roses' then picks up the pace with layers of rumbling drums, wooden hits and snaking synths taking you into a steamy, humid jungle before closer 'Planet Kismet' is a much quicker and more urgent bit of enchanting break-beat techno with pummeling minimal drums and warped synths and perc getting you under their sci-fi spell. A fascinating first outing that sets a high standard from the off. More

We at Finale Sessions are excited to have Mor Elians added to the Finale Sessions family . Mor is one of the younger generation artists that we have been keeping our eye on for sometime now. Hailing from Tel Aviv and now living in Los Angeles and Berlin and now travelling the world bringing her style of forward thinking House and Techno so let's get with the music and we start with the track " The Orionids " one of my favorites of the ep with it's bouncing drums and the industrial flexing pads and the filtering synth's that give it the deepness for day's . Then we move to the second track " Light Pollution " Another proper deep rendering if I may add and those high hats that just move the track into the proper scenic vibe, very minimal but to the point with the pads just poking its head out to go forth with the flow of the vocal . Last but not least we have "Echopark"this track closes out the ep with its very bouncy acid sounds and it's minimalistic drum patterns makes for a very melodic sound ....We at Finale Sessions want to thank you from the bottoms of our hearts and we love you very much

Info:
Hailing from Tel Aviv, and cutting her chops on the Los Angeles underground, Mor Elian is a relatively new name on the block, but her deft tastes have seen her share the stage with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Mike Dunn, Seven Davis Jnr, DJ Qu and many more, and most recently, releasing her debut vinyl release on the excellent Prime Numbers label, featuring FXHE's OB Ignitt on remix duties.
On 'Drum Vortex', Mor strikes a killer release for Hypercolour, enlisting two big remixes on the release from Joey Anderson and Markus Suckut. On her original mix, 'Drum Vortex' rolls out a ricocheting drum workout that indeed goes through the vortex; otherworldly voices and cosmic drones sit in the middle of the mix whilst the rides and hats intensify.
Joey Anderson has proven himself as one of the most diverse house producers out there, with offerings for Dekmantel, Syncrophone Recordings and Tanstaafl Planets. Joey remodels 'Drum Vortex' into an old style warehouse dub; rolling congas and snares with incessant synth stabs and bending strings, making up for one serious remix from Mr. Anderson.
Another interpretation is on offer from Markus Suckut, whose techno prowess has shone for labels like Rekids, Be As One, Mosaic and his own Exile label (run with Johannes Heil). Suckut's trademark dense beats are in play here, shuffling hats and micro bleeps weave through vocal elements and sturdy percussive work, bringing a touch of the Berghain style to this remix package.
Closing the release is another original production from Mor; 'Basma' again focuses of the drum groove, with bright and springing claps bouncing off the hazy bottom ends and melodic touches. Pacey and energetic, Mor gets bang on the groove to carve out a club little B2 style track in time honoured tradition.

Two tracks and her debut release from Mor Elian on Prime Numbers backed by a remix from the Detroit prodigy Ob Ignitt !! 323 to Plaza punches its way through some dirty acidic movements before settling into a deep groove augmented by swirling keys. Chocolate Almond is a quasi afro affair . Heavy reverb and dub action compliments a rolling drum workout. The release is finely sealed with an Ob Ignitt remix of 323 To Plaza. His first outing on wax for a while he pitches things up, tightening the groove & increasing the tension of the original.

Meltface returns in “Melt In Unison,” another high-octane action comedy erotic thriller with four jaw-dropping scenes soundtracked by Rhyw. “Drool” is an underwater mutant-octopus romance that will change how you feel about tentacles forever. "Calippo" is a jungle romp that's part Apocalypse Now!, part Tropic Thunder, part Lethal Weapon 4, all white-knuckle intensity. “Greetings” is actually the intro but, for some reason appears as the third track.... don't worry about that. Main thing is it will rewire your DNA and change every fibre of your being in such a way that you'll actually pity the person you were in all the years you lived before you heard this track. This rollercoaster ride of thrills and chills ends with a bang: a face-off against the final boss, he whose name is said only in terrified whispers when it is said at all, the horrifying, twisted, slime/goo-coated final boss... “Lavalantula."
Some other stuff you should know about this record: this is the first time our guy Rhyw sang on his own music (initially), but then chopped up and pitched syllables from acapellas to match the recordings instead, if that makes sense. His actual voice features on the other three. Also two of the tracks came from his live set in case you care about that. More

Rhyw returns home to Fever AM with “Mister Melt”, his first EP since last year’s “Honey Badger”, one of 2022’s biggest anthems.
This is perhaps his most dance-floor focussed record to date, while maintaining that signature twist that defines his work. He continues his mission to surprise, displaying versatility across four cutting-edge techno, bass and minimal-adjacent tracks.
These bubbling sonic mutations showcase Rhyw's unmistakable style that has firmly established his reputation as one of the most innovative producers in today’s landscape. More
