Secret Echoes is a dynamic collaboration of three acclaimed artists from Mexico’s electronic music scene: Estefani Brolo (of BROLORZIO & I.M YONI), Diego Cevallos (AKA Métrika), and Marco Balcazar (AKA Balcazar of Balcazar & Sordo). With each member bringing a distinct musical background to the group, creating a unique fusion of sound set to resonate with electronic music enthusiasts worldwide, Secret Echoes creates music that blends house foundations with melodic innovation.
The origins of the project trace back to the height of the pandemic, when Cevallos and Balcazar began collaborating on an album they had always envisioned. Renting a unique studio in Jiutepec, Mexico, equipped with analogue tape machines and high-end studio gear, and inviting their talented friends to contribute, Brolo soon joined the project - adding her melodic and lyrical expertise. The result was the recording of 11 tracks that were put on hold until the time was right. After revisiting the tracks and performing them live, ‘Bring My Beat Back’ caught the attention of Crosstown Rebels founder Damian Lazarus during 2024’s Day Zero performance. Inspired by its energy and potential, Lazarus signed the entire album, and this first single provides a first glimpse of what is to come from the enigmatic trio on an imprint known for continually pushing boundaries within house music.

Riding the success of her debut single ‘Music For Humans’ in 2023, Norway’s Meera was swiftly recruited by Damian Lazarus, joining him at his Hï Ibiza residency before heading to Rebellion for the release of the resonant ‘Teflon’. The sought-after artist has shown no signs of slowing, releasing a series of remixes this year amongst European shows, festival appearances, and Ibiza pit stops. Continuing this momentum, she now makes her label debut on Lazarus’ renowned Crosstown Rebels with ‘Stikk’, with imprint regular Dennis Cruz joining on remix duties alongside melodic Danish trio and former collaborators Tripolism, who also make their first outing on Crosstown. Landing in realms of afro-house, Meera’s production is cool, confident, and creative. With eclectic influences audible throughout her standout sound, her ‘Stikk’ EP proves why she first garnered the attention of artists such as Jimi Jules and John Digweed. An electronic mastermind renowned for releasing countless seminal tracks and albums, both solo and as a member of Cobblestone Jazz, he returns to a label that has been a constant throughout his career. With his ‘Tako Tako’ EP, he offers two more superb journeys on Crosstown Rebels. The fantastic ‘Tako Tako’ kicks off with Jonson’s signature mix of elegant and refined synth craft, with dancing melodies bringing futuristic energy and neon colour to crunchy beats. They are smeared and smudged in a painterly fashion and help make this production a pulsating dancefloor thrill. Released in 1993 on Mute's subsidiary label NovaMute, this record was the debut for Richie Hawtin's alias Plastikman. 30 years on Sheet One is a landmark album in the field of electronic music, it changed the shape of what the genre could be and became.
Introducing one of techno's most recognisable logos, the album achieved a degree of notoriety for its acid blotter-style perforated artwork. Musically it focuses on laser-precise minimalist rhythms to drive a series of echo-box acid lines that gradually acquire power over the course of lengthy album tracks, with frequent use of the Roland TB-303, which gained prominence in the electronic music world as a staple of Chicago's acid house scene. Hawtin once described Sheet One perfectly in an interview with MusicRadar, saying "...It's music for the end of the party as you're melting into the floor, which is exactly what the name Plastikman was made to represent."
This seminal album helped to establish the template for minimal techno, and is a must listen for lovers of electronic music.

recently, electro. Since they last crossed paths in 2014, their love for collecting and playing records has now
fully grown into creating their own music. And what more meaningful way to honour that musical friendship
than with making music based on that early mutual passion for that Detroit-Berlin techno connection.
'Distances' is just that simply. A 16-track deep foray into all the things the love and respect about the
foundations and traditions of techno music. Each essence and theme of the genre is represented with this

Ich möchte ein Eisbär sein…Written by Martin Eicher after a nightmare in which he saw talking polar bears on the walls, and with music by the Grauzone crew consisting of Martin and his brother Stephan Eicher, Marco Repetto, Christian "GT" Trüssel, and Claudine Chirac (on saxophone), "Eisbär" is the most recognizable title from the band, a sublime mix of ingredients reflecting the transitional era it comes from - the raw energy of punk music still palpable, combined with the audacity of early electronics, the warm groove of a disco gem, beautifully fragile lyrics, and one of the best basslines ever. It became a mega hit, totally unplanned, but how could you resist such a track?
"FILM 2" is the ultimate b-side monster, a menacing all-instrumental pre-techno masterpiece, slowly building to a magnetizing frenzy. An instant underground favorite, it was famously heard played at both speeds depending on the scenes and DJs you were frequenting, 45rpm as it was first intended, and 33rpm for the cosmic experience (search Daniele Baldelli’s Cosmic C75 1982 mixtape online for a great example of this).
The maxi single ends with "Ich Lieb Sie", a synth-pop meets doo-wop ballad, a true love song oozing with innocence. Simple, stylish, and just right.
At the crossroads of post-punk, new wave, pop, and electronic experimentation, the Eisbär maxi offers three songs that are technically different but hold the same spirit, the perfect embodiment of Grauzone’s music - wild, unpredictable, and youthful, yet sophisticated, catchy, and ingenious. The magic recipe for the good stuff.
Stephan Eicher went on to be, arguably, the most successful Swiss musician ever, with an international career extending from pop chanson to experimental escapades and collaborations with Moondog, artists Sophie Calle and John Armleder, and author Martin Suter among many other luminaries. Marco Repetto flourished as a techno and ambient producer, releasing multiple projects including releases on Aphex Twin’s Rephlex label.

Heist Recordings.
Founded in 2013, Heist Recordings has quickly become a go-to house label, giving rise to a vibrant scene of groove aficionados and all things
deep house. Now in the label’s 10th year, Dam Swindle take a moment to reflect on the great tracks that have come out over the years with 2
limited edition compilations of classics.
On this first compilation, the duo starts with the track that helped the label burst onto the scene: Their instant classic ‘The break up’. With its
vintage vocals, Rhodes chops and instantly recognizable bell loop, it’s easy to understand why so many people are still in love with this track. It’s
only fitting that this anniversary release for Heist goes back to where it all started.
The second track on the compilation is from the legendary Detroit outfit Scan 7: Their 2020 track ‘The Best is yet come’ from Heist’s 50th release.
The appearance of Scan 7 on the label turned quite some heads at the time, but in fact, it made total sense. The mutual love for house, key
grooves and that classic Detroit vibe brought Scan 7 and Dam Swindle together and the result was an amazing release full of Midwest electronic
funk.
On the flip, we’ve got Dutch duo Fouk with their first hit on the label ‘Kill Frenzy’, which kickstarted the rise of their signature sound back in 2014.
The release ends with 2 extremely catchy and strong house releases by Demuir and Adryiano. Demuir’s vocal cut ‘Werq. Feel. Gruv. Vogue’. is
one of the highlights in Demuir’s catalog and a showcase of the producer’s knack for sampling and writing a house groove. Adryiano’s piano
house track ‘Me and you and her’ is a perfect ending to this first compilation, showing us that great house music can be as simple as repeating
something over and over and over, until that groove is all you hear.
The vinyl release of Heist Classics vol. 01 is printed on clear 180 grams heavyweight vinyl and is limited to 1000 records with a special design by

Smoove is the archetypal B-Boy made good. Despite his huge international success with Smoove & Turrell and his ability to craft jazz, soul, latin, hip hop and funk into world beating dancefloor killers – he can still be found every weekend he's not playing live jumping on a plane or a train to go and DJ in Germany, Italy, Ibiza or just down to Manchester, Bristol or London wherever his diary tells him he has to go.. sWherever it is, his incredible skills behind the decks mean that he gets asked back and the breadth of the music seamlessly joined by his turntablist skills jumps from disco to funk, jazz to soul, hip hop to house and back again. The endless flights, trains and hotel rooms are dead time to some DJ's but Smoove is always creating new tunes for his set on the fly and working his different influences into the remixes and productions he is currently on. There were at least 40 remixes that could have been included on this album but in the end he chose the ones that worked best together and made the album flow like one of his legendary DJ sets.

An artist with a rich history within deeper house spheres and minimal territories, Markus Homm has been a fixture of the scene for over twenty years with a long list of appearances at renowned institutions, including Panorama Bar, Watergate, Kater Blau and Tresor.

‘After Dark’, a rich collection of eight productions on the vinyl, ‘he album is a carefully crafted project. Starting with the vinyl version’s A1 ‘The System’, Homm delicately introduces the deep and dubby textures he’s so well known for and sets the tone for what is to come.
‘Generator’ builds upon this foundation with a selection of deep, aquatic tones, while B-side productions’ Trespasses’ and ‘Grauzone’ subtly pick up the pace and energy while guiding listeners down equally hazy and captivating trips.
‘Blue Mountain’ welcomes the first of four tracks on the 2nd vinyl, harnessing skipping drums alongside resonant chords, while title track ‘After Dark’ is an exemplary display of the Romanian’s ability to fuse delicate layers of misty pads, intricate percussion and resonant stabs.

It's already well-known that Cocoon Recordings is a sucker for tracks that stand out of the usual field of - let's be honest - often uniformly reduced Tech-House, and the past nine years of the label's history have proven this sustainably. And the Rhein-Neckar area based team Flatner/Lopazz are again two hot candidates to leave their very special mark on the summer of 2009. After all, Circlemusic manager Alex Flatner is rocking the floors as a DJ and producer for already 10 years now, having been releasing for labels such as Harthouse or Black Nation, whereas the Heidelberg-born Stefan Eichinger aka Lopazz has made himself a name with releases on imprints from the likes of Output, International Deejay Gigolo and mainly Get Physical. Together they celebrate a very funky understanding for percussive Techno, which is setting highly meaningful moments for the primetime, particularly by means of lascivious vocals. "I wanna take you all night long", for sure! And you definitely can't find a better expression for the perfect pounding symbiosis between bass-focused club stompers and economically dosed Pop elements than "It's time to make up your mind".

The Infinite Hour is a shattered elegy synthesized in electronics. Furtherset's music does not explain, settle or justify, it rather simply manifests the grip of anguish. As a whole, the album's six compositions resemble the labored breathing of one who mourns a disappearance and fears oblivion. A feeling like having one's chest weighed down by a stone, while still being attentive to one's breath, and aware of what remains. From this dimension The Infinite Hour arises and transfigures loss into a space that is always extending: the hour is infinite, the melody is circular, and even stasis has its own measure that is exceeded into eternity. The album was created between 2020 and 2022, in a slow process of writing and continuous refinement parallel to the previous EP, Auras. The compositions found their final form during the mixing process carried out together with composer & sound artist Bienoise (Mille Plateaux). They were later named based on references to authors who influenced and are dear to Furtherset: Amelia Rosselli, Vladimir Chlebnikov, Hubert Damisch, Dante Alighieri. Each track, composed with its live rendition in mind, manifests itself to the listener as a possible variant of a path that is never definitive. Their live performance, an increasingly distinctive moment within Furtherset's work, is a gesture of concentration and extension, where every composition is developed through meticulous variations of each singularity. The Infinite Hour is one possible manifestation of an ever-changing musical landscape, a universe with unmistakable sounds but always on the verge of disintegrating, collapsing, and opening up spaces, times, infinities. Furtherset is the musical project of artist and musician Tommaso Pandolfi (1995). His compositions' distinctive traits are stratifications and recursive shifting modulations, synthetic clusters and sampling, alongside rhythmic and embracing harmonies. The project is envisaged as formal research that follows a path towards saturation and layering, but is always capable of generating voids in which the listener can take their place and fill them according to their own focus.
