After tons and tons of Disco, Jazz, House and Latin reworks we thought it was time to bring it back to the streets of the American east coast with a three part 7" inch series produced (not edited) by the mighty Lee Gomez aka Wipe The Needle.

The beats are all brand new production but you'll probably recognise the vocals.

Lee Gomez aka Wipe The Needle has made music in many complimentary styles.

Love for the music should be the driving force of any producer and Lee Gomez aka Wipe The Needle clearly shows this with his latest release for Local Talk.
'Enchanted' features Alex Lattimore's soulful vocals together with stunning instrumentation and takes you on journey that goes beyond the house genre, it is hypnotic as much as it is bumping. Flip it to the B-side for a North London dub courtesy of Wipe The Needle.
It's the kinda track Joe Claussell would drop at Body & Soul and keeps you dancing until closing time. More

Wipe The Needle consisting of Swedish Mikael Nybom and London-man Lee Gomez, have done a lot for themselves through the Defected sublabel 4th Floor and now with a full-length album coming on Soundmen on Wax. But it’s their first Raw Fusion release which is truly the crème de la crème of house music! The release starts off with a high resolution gospel banger done with the help of Swedish resident, via Lusaka Zambia, Mr Aaron Phiri aka Zulu Gestapo (last of the Gris Gris) from the raw uncut concrete jungle hip-hop duo Hearin' Aid. His vocals break down the firmest of titanium walls when mashed up with the organs and jacked up kicks of this soon to be peak hour business. More

GAMM heads down under with prolific producer Inkswel aka Inxxxwel (on this project) for a tasty 7" crammed with deep hip hop, funk, soul and overall jazziness.

You'll hear reminiscence of Dilla, 90's R&B and on the opening track 'Chill' and a kinda 90's Jersey house / r&b track (pitched down) on the B Side track 'Hanna-Mi-Dia' (feat vocals from Blu & Ta'Raach).
If you're an open-minded hop hop or soul head...this should tickle your ears :)

Our multi-talented musician and producer Lay-Far once in a while takes a break from producing for editing long forgotten gems that need a little retouch.

Here at GAMM we're of course much in favour of this direction, especially when he delivers the goods as with this sunny release.
On the the A Side Lay-Far takes on a classic Nu-Yorican jazz-funk-disco jam with big strings and a killer fender grooves loop.
On the B, it's time to brush off a killer Japanese jazz-funk-disco winner that's been a big tune on the rare groove scene since the 90's... More

GAMM is back after a short leave of absence with a grand disco rework (not edit).

Our friend Moplen definitely knows his way around the disco and here it all comes full circle as both music and vinyl artwork (full-color 12" vintage sleeve and labels) look and feel like the sound of black New York City circa 1977.
The Blackout Night comes in a main extended +9 min long version and reprise mix (dub version), both are soaked in big strings, soulful vocals, and a thumpin' Disco backbeat.

DJ Monchan returns with a killer two track EP.

The sound experience is similar to his previous releases and continues to explore the void between old-school 80's house and 70's disco.

'Love Me' has that 80's house backbone but loops and filters the disco samples into a real journey...proper Loft biz if you ask us.
'U&Me' is a serious boogie stepper that is as bumpy as it gets and together with the smooth vocals this will sound ace at any disco jam :) More

The disco maestro we know as Al Kent returns to GAMM with a follow up to his amazing 'Stranger Danger' 12"...

Just like its precursor, this is a highly personal release to Al Kent, as he not only created the musical reworks but also the full artwork from top to bottom.
The release comes with Al's beautiful design in a full-colour sleeve, inners etc...it's a truly eye-catching 12" to have in your collection :)

As for the music, Al delivers as always with three solid productions that range from Philly-style disco (Welcome To The Dub), Jazz-Funk (Dubanova) and a truly amazing end piece entitled 'Happiness & Peace' that is both psychedelic and beautiful at the same time...our fave cut if you ask us (check check). More

Another GAMM debut, this time it's Berlin's infamous Delfonic who comes thru with a supa strong four track EP.

Over both sides Delfonic offers the listener, DJ or dancer a wide range of styles ranging from piano-driven disco-jazz, classic rare grooves, proto-funk and high-energy funk-disco.

As often on GAMM, there's something for everyone here .

As Black Truffle returns for his second release on GAMM he loaded up three amazing edits for your dancing pleasure.

Continuing on his personal and distinctive approach these tracks land somewhere between working-class disco and psyche library jazz-funk...either way, it's on the left side of the dance music spectrum.
Especially check out the A1 track Aurora which has been a big fave here at the GAMM HQ...what a jam!
But the two B-side tracks are also not to be overlooked, full-on disco assaults for your DJ sets! More

Japanese born but nowadays NYC resident, DJ Monchan is a long-time purveyor of Disco edits and early House music, something you'll clearly hear on his debut release on GAMM.

The first track 'What is your love worth' is really something special as it starts off with a gritty and raw early house loop but then makes a dramatic turn over to high energy NY Disco...and then back to the grit.
A great jam session!

The B-side offers a deeper Disco-House track that easily could've been released in the early 90's on any of the relevant NYC labels of the time. More

This is the debut release for Ludovic Llorca aka Art Of Tones on GAMM, and what a release!

Dedicated to the female aspect of disco Ludo has chosen three of his all-time favourite tracks to run through his AOT filter.

Our good friend Young Pulse has gone far since his first release on GAMM and he's nowadays a well established name on the worldwide disco and house scene...well deserved we might add.
Here on his 8th volume of Paris Edits we get a full taste of what Young Pulse is all about, uplifting quality boogie and disco.

On side A we're treated to a proper feel-good boogie cut with some lovely vocals and big horns...jam tight!
On side B Young Pulse does his thing over a classic Ingram disco track that got a nice gospel theme.

From the deep south in Louisiana comes a new debut on GAMM from producer Koichi Toyama.

Over this four-track EP Koichi has selected some of his favourite Japanese Jazz-funk and Jazz-fusion tracks from the 70's and 80s'.
With tasteful editing skills, the tracks are re-arranged and sometimes remixed into heavy Jazz club jams.

If there is one musician out there that has inspired Opolopo more than anyone else it's Herbie Hancock, so we of course had to make an EP solely dedicated to Herbie.

The two classic Hancock jams 'Butterfly' and 'Hang Up Your Hang Ups' have been remade with the Opolopo formula.
With the added production behind these two epic grooves Opolopo has upgraded Herbie into version 2.0, it's a near perfect musical match. More

Opolopo returns with another trademark release of high-level reworks.

On side A we get a Jazz-fusion broken beat take on Ernie Watts jazz dancer 'Gondwana' that features the mighty vocal of Gilberto Gil.

On the flip Opolopo delivers a supa deep and soulful house bump of Kevin Moor's 'Speak Your Mind'.

Our good friend Opolopo returns with a new GAMM EP of classy tweaks. This time with a homage to the Brazilian fusion sounds from the late 70's and early 80's.
A sound that he's always been a huge fan of.


On the A-side George Duke's cover of Milton's "Cravo E Canela" gets a lovely house bump, while on the B, Flora Purim's classic "Love Lock" (with G.Duke on keys) is tweaked into a melodic jazz-boogie number.

As always, Opolopo adds some of his own keyboard wizardries to make both tweaks just a little extra...tweaked!
