Sheffield-based Denham Audio make their Lobster Theremin debut with an incredible 5 tracker of breaks and bass, backed with a club-fuelled remix from Maruwa.

EP opener 'Feel The Panic' sets the pace, crunchy drums with scorching acid basslines and old rave esque vocal hooks, merging into a dancefloor driven weapon. 'Volt' injects a punch, chopped up drum sequences with floating vocals and pulsating synth lines, one for the early hours of the dance.

On the flip side Denham Audio leads with a drum driven roller 'Bobby Wobbler', breaks and beats soar and transform into a weighty number.

'Check 1' blends classic rave esque sound pallets with punchy kick drums and clean, crisp synth lines. Maruwa's remix of 'Check 1' showcases her incredible ability to create productions destined to do the business in the clubs, hands in the air pads play gracefully with the drum elements from the original production.

This one is for the ravers. More

For the third record on Club Glow we have our very own breaksmith LMajor, stepping up with a hard hitting 4 tracker, brimming with B-lines and expertly crafted breaks.

The title track ‘Tear My Heart’ has been doing the rounds for a while now, anyone who’s been to a Club Glow show in the last 18 months will undoubtably recognise that hook and those vocals. Certified ear-worm material!

The flip-side features a collaboration with the ever talented Decibella. One of our core crew members, she has shut down the dance at most of our events this last year. ‘Waiting’ has been a staple of all of our sets and we are glad to finally be able to release it to the world!

The EP draws as much influence from 1992 as it does 2022, brining the original sounds and ideas of Hardcore-rave music bang up to date, in a way that few others can manage. More

* Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the seminal 'Valley of the Shadows', this special edition run is presented on 180g yellow vinyl.

* In 1993, Andy C & Ant Miles set out about creating a fourth release for the newly established Ram Records, now just a year old. With Hardcore still prominent in the clubs around the world, The Touch features rollercoaster bass swoops against energetic breaks flowing around the main sung vocal "c'mon and touch me".
An early sign of the precision arrangements that became synonymous of Ram's early sound that followed over for many years. Whilst going through the remaining samples in the sampler that had not been used on the A side, the pair suddenly went on a tangent with one of the drum breaks.
Experimenting with the new time stretch function in the Akai sampler, they soon had a shuffle groove layered and moving. With Ant Miles' sculpted and edited arpeggio bell line sample, a new overall sound and vibe was beginning to emerge out of their studio Atari ST computer.
Utilising an original organic analogue string pad, the haunting sinister vibe became complete. With the vocal from the BBC QED documentary 'Glimpses of Death' - "I felt, like I was in a long dark tunnel" all that remained was one of the most memorable pounding bass lines to sit underneath it all.
The result was an instant impact on the scene, heralded as one of the first anthems of the Jungle genre. Multi award winning and the track that cemented Andy & Ant and their label Ram Records within the scene.

It's been 32 years since Hyper Go Go's 'High' crashed into life, combining the best of Italo House and rave into an exuberant, floor destroying piano anthem.

Fast forward to 2024 and HOOJ reissue this 92 classic with the Original & Cloud 9 Mixes on the A side with 2 newer remixes on the B side.

Remixes come from Fast rising Scottish duo Testpress, who strip things back a bit, working the original riffs around a thumping kick and hooky new synth line & Kyle Starkey, the youngster takes no prisoners, tearing into the OG with slamming 135bpm drums, big drops, the odd snare roll, and lots of drama, for an energy driven update. A record that is as blissful as it is absorbing, a true crossover that seemed to appeal to everyone and anyone, skyrocketing prices up to £200 for an original on Discogs. South Street continue their incredible run with a fully remastered, officially licensed reissue of this cherished cut.
Clocking in at over eight minutes ‘Want You In My Soul’ is as pure a modern deep house anthem as you’ll get. An extended intro that gradually builds in intensity from the echoing pads to the shimmering arps, before the pulsing synths and Stee Downes instantly recognisable soul infused vocals come to the fore. Packed with passion, brimming with emotion it’s about as sun kissed as you can get without getting burnt.
On the flip, the never before released ‘Summer In London’ edit, that gets straight down to business, shortening the lengthy intro and adding extra percussive touches for a more DJ friendly take on the original.

In this first instalment, using tracks released solely via Lobster Theremin and its sub-labels, Amy Dabbs' Girl Like Me and Allure get the full Coco Bryce treatment, and Amy Dabbs takes on Coco's Twenty One Lies and Ma Bae Be Luv.

Coco, renowned for incorporating elaborately edited layers of breaks samples into his sound, serves up a slice of acid jazz in Geezer Like Me, his take on Amy Dabbs' Girl Like Me. Complementing this, is Allude, an edgier jungle version of Amy's track, Allure.

Amy, who codes her own drum patterns from the ground up, delivers us Twenty One Highs, a liquid style take on Coco Bryce's Twenty One Lies, with Ma Bae Be Blonde, her version of Coco's Ma Bae Be Luv, paying homage to the UK's early rave era. More

Drumskull returns to Hooversound with a powerful new EP, featuring an official remix from Dwarde who makes his debut on the Hooversound imprint. Release Note:
Madison, Wisconsin producer Sam Link exploded onto the breaks circuit with his debut EP on Prague-based record label YUKU - exploring classic underground jungle and juke templates and stretching them into new and distinct formats - and now the emerging artist readies four varied cuts of stylish, club-ready breakbeats and bass on Low Battery.

With one gun-finger fixated on the past and the other firmly pointing to the future, Sam implements a unique form of production within his work. Holding down a full-time job as an artist is never easy, so Sam now works in 20-30 minute bursts, capturing the creative spurts and happy accidents, and allowing space between creation to allow ideas to breathe.

Ragga-tipped jungle at break-neck pace kicks things off on 'The Breath'; a cut of vortex-breakbeats that strikes a fine balance between meditative and energetic, like all great ragga-inspired cuts should. 'Uproar' lowers the tempo slightly in favour of stretching basslines, underwater-wubs and murky atmospherics on a growling cut of breaks that transatlantically shatters over the UK-sound.

'Chance' puts the emphasis on 'less is more'. Stripped-back percussion, nature-atmospherics and hefty low-end bass vibrations combine on a minimal jungle cut designed to vibe in the rave, before Teklife and Cosmic Bridge affiliate A.Fruit rounds out the release with a stuttering breakbeat-footwork remix of its predecessor.
