Errare Humanum Est comes from the Latin proverb "To err is human" as a musician and a human-being, you are constantly facing "mistakes" on your compositional work and your instrumental interpretation, Felipe Gordon presents his second conceptual album under this premise, you should accept and make mistakes as a crucial part of art and life. During late 2022 and beginning of 2023, the musician and producer worked on a new long play in his home studio "El Dorado" in Bogot?, Colombia. Trying to create a whole new concept and universe he re-visited some forgotten musical sketches, going from breakbeats, synthesis, boom bap, deep acid and house music Felipe presents us his new album, a melting pot of musical ideas, again not trying to achieve a club track filled long play but a whole listening experience, not focusing only on dancing matters but also on every day musical enjoyment. With the forward-thinking distribution and collaboration from the Rotterdam based power house, Clone Records and looking for a way to create a more independent environment for his releases, Felipe is creating his own "Wide Awake", a new record label focused only on sharing and creating a platform for his constant output. One of the keys to Nervous’ longevity has been our willingness to take chances on new producers and new sounds. As long as a track contains the essence of House, we encourage producers to experiment with combining House with other musical genres. And if the results are creative and fruitful enough we are always ready, willing and able to create a new sub label and logo to go along with a fresh sound. In the 90’s we felt a movement toward House being juiced with Jazz elements and we created the Nervous Chill Sub-label. Now all these years later we are once again seeing a new appreciation for the sounds, flow and energy of Jazz on the part of some of the world’s premier House Music Producers, and so we are embarking on a re-launch of the Nervous Chill imprint. Onboard for the re-launch is the very talented and dynamic producer Felipe Gordon with the two tracks “Elisa” and “Resonant.” Both songs feature the legendary musician Paul Shapiro, who has played a key musical role in many of House Music’s most celebrated tunes including “The Whistle Song” for which he supplied the eponymous “whistle.” “Elisa” features an uplifting and bouncy rhythmic vibe that’s topped and energized with Paul’s jazzy flute, while “Resonant” has a deeper and slightly more aggressive tone that’s propelled with Paul hypnotic and free wheeling sax instrumentation. His delicate and classy take on house is a breath of fresh air and ideal for the new, hot weather, teasing the reopening of clubs and return to freedom that this summer hopes to bring.

His debut release on Shall Not Fade, Amor Fati EP is a perfectly curated four tracker of jazz with a modern twist, as shown on the opening track and first single "Lone Raver" and its bittersweet chords that blend with melancholy vocals and open out into a euphoric dancy beat. The anthemic trance overtones carry through to "Rah That's a Mad Question", which takes classic piano house vibes and more summertime heat with its Balaeric energy.

"Jazz Club After Hours" is a triumphant, high sheen lounge roller with intricate jazz instrumentation and playful percussion to boot. EP closer, "El Layali" shows the breadth of influence on this record, as it all coalesces into a catchy house number best suited to Mediterranean dances in the sun. More
