Visionquest return to their Special Edition vinyl-only series and welcome a new friend to the family: Greek craftsman BODJ. Following a remarkable run of releases on the likes of his own Audiorama and Memoria earlier this year, the Athens-based DJ continues his vein of form with these four wide-ranging tracks... ‘Parusha’ takes the lead with warm tones and textures. Airy pads and an insatiable Chicago-like bump to the voluptuous bassline ensure this grabs full attention the moment it enters the mix. It’s backed by three other vital cuts that express BODJ’s true breadth and vision: ‘Miaplacidus’ celebrates one of the brightest stars in the night sky with a stripped back, sub heavy hypnotic groove, ‘Phantom’ kicks with timeless house dynamics that subtly evolve, twist, turn and fold into each other over its eight minute journey before we end with the wonderfully titled ‘Trip To Planet Love’. The Trip's "Perfect Moderation" EP on Tessellate is a release that blends elements of 90s house, UK prog, and to great effect. The Trip's unique sound and style will appeal to the dancefloor heads. Perfect Modulation features four tracks that showcase their lush warm production. "A Bit Spooky," sets the tone with its 909 groove and cut vocal work. "For The Record" follows with its driving beat and classic melodic lines, while "Fantazia" channels a slightly dreamy vibe that pulls you into a different headpsace. Closing the EP "Boom Operator," a track with industrial grade dancability. More

Tessellate's next addition of their Teamwork VA series has arrived! For volume four they have got Aiden Francis, Duowe & Picasso, Harry Oscillate and Toke in for the ride. Four carefully selected bangers covering various different moods - they've got all your bases covered. More

For the second edition of Tessellate's VA series Teamwork, they have looked to Peru's SINM and Lithuania's S II P for a fast-paced breaks focused release. These are all tracks aimed at the dancefloor with SINM taking over the A side and S II P looking after the B side. More

Next in line on Tessellate is London's Kylin Tyce. His previous releases on iO Mulen's OLDiViBES and Amsterdam based PIV records have gained him support from the likes of Seth Troxler, Butch, Mood II Swing and Chris Stussy.

The title track starts things off, a 2-step bumper which has a nice little switch up half way through. Further South takes things down more of a House route while still maintaining some garage flavours - a little reese bass, skippy percussion and horns etc. On the flip we have Thinkin' which is a straight up UKG banger. Finally Perception rounds things off taking the OG in a completely different direction by breaking the beats up and adding some atmosophiric pads - nice! More

It's number six for Tessellate and this time they're shining the spotlight on France's Xavier Dusclaux AKA Armless Kid. After a number impressive outings on the likes of Rekids, Let's Play House and Traxx Underground, Xavier turns to the London based label with three original tracks plus a remix of the A1.

The title track, Drop Down (Club Edit), eases in with broken beats and a gentle bassline before eventually building into a euphoric, 5am acid banger. Opal Sunn, who are regulars on Nick Höppner's Touch From A Distance, have dialled up the 303 from the orignal to give it a whole different energy. Flip the record over and we have two tracks aimed straight at the club. Category, which features MJOG (Daydream/Recordeep), combines shuffling percussion over wiggling basslines. The final track mixes shivvering pads, punchy organs and skippy drums over a wonky sub. It's called Les Bo Jours (Wonky Funky) More

Firmin is a resident at our parties and this is his second EP for us. It's a new alias of his focusing on more progressive club tracks. Carlo who did the remix for us runs Neovinyl records and is a resident at IPSE in Berlin. More

Tessellate is a South London party that has been running for the last four years predominantly at Corsica Studios in Elephant and Castle. The label is a natural progression of their events, featuring artists and friends they have booked and met over the years. The debut release comes from a new alias of a regular guest to their nights. Firmin crafts two tracks for the club - La Selva for the sunrise and Energetic Solution for the peak time. Brassica (Feel My Bicep) and Tel Aviv’s Moscoman both deliver with two different takes of La Selva on the B-side.
