Ring, ring! Hot on the heels of the transcendental and mystical "Vibe Telemetry" long-player of the man like Telephones, we proudly present: Vibe Remixes. Some of you might notice the irony between the lines. A producer who goes by the name of Call Super is remixing an artist known as Telephones. But, we rather rivet you on his 8:59 long skippy dub journey that recalls (pun intended) an atmosphere that could be found in the space between Smith & Mighty, the LTJ Bukem of his youth, Italian house records, British Balearics and bass affine music (of whatever providence). A magical mystery. But we don't hang up here. DJ Fett Burger is treating the other side and only he himself knows how he made what he did. 14:51 min of almost every style ever invented in the scope of house music. Designed for people blessed with an everlastingly short attention span and DJs on the lookout for a toilet break and a coffee break or whichever break, it leaves its listener speechless. And: it's so much fun that once it's over, you want to redial Fett Burger's number immediately.

In times where a compilation of 12-inch bangers passes as an album, Telephones "Vibe Telemetry" opts for a different approach. Without being a departure from his 12"s for Sex Tags Ufo, Full Pupp and yours truly or his brilliant remix work for José Padilla and Vangelis Katsoulis, the Norwegian producer from Bergen who calls Berlin his home, hones sound, skills and aesthetics on his debut long-player.
"Vibe Telemetry" is inspired by the pure feeling of listening to house, disco and techno, prior to knowing what it actually was: ambiguous, euphoric, mystical and melancholic. Sonic and physical experiences, which names and origins were yet to be discovered.

Love On The Rocks is back again for the second time in as many months, this time with a true summer release. With EPs for Sex Tags Ufo and Running Back causing a huge stir, Telephones goes even fur- ther, offering the beautiful Meditiranian house anthem that is?Lotusland and comes backed with remixes from Discodromo and Gatto Fritto no less. Up and coming is definitely a term that can be applied to Norway's Telephones. While a?debut release on Full Pupp hinted at things to come, it was 2013's "Rytmenarkotisk" on Sex Tags Ufo that signaled him to be a young producer with the golden touch. More than just another deep house pastiche, the track, plus the flip co-production with DJ Fett Burger was praised far and wide. The recent edits and reworks on the Pleasure Unit 1 EP and surely the breakout Ocean Called EP for Running Back means 2014 is Telephones year. Taking this further is Lotusland - here appearing in two distinct versions. An irrestible melody that takes the influences of early 90s NYC clubbing but with that uplifting European touch so loved by Italian producers of the day. With that Mediterranean thought in mind it seems apt to name the versions for their vibe - Sunrise and Sunset. Whichever, you decide. Italian duo Discodromo take Lotusland to a soft-waved shore to get some discoid sand between the toes, while finally good friend and stellar producer Gatto Fritto shows his genius with a spaced out Electro Boogie wig-out, full of laser lights and seductive reverbs.
A very special release that takes continues never-ending magic of Norway producers but clearly with Telephones very own signature sound - this EP is pure ecstasy.

Known for his releases on Sex Tags UFO and Full Pupp as well as dapper facial hair, the Norwegian Berliner graces Running Back with an island fantasy of his very own. Immured in the sands between the beaches of Rimini and Sant Antoni, "The Ocean Called EP" evokes the lucid dreams and hazy visions that pale club kids allways had of these places. Think vintage Irma and Calpyso Records done in a modern way, or Tony Humphries in swimming trunks. Four tracks, four waves of joy well as rhythm tools and cool spots. Barefoot in the head 4ever.

he makes the kind of uplifing melodic disco most people would tag as something silly like "balearic beach house"... yes, it's pretty balearic(it does remind me of Nik Kershaw in places...) we really don't care what you call it, all we know is we're dancing around like happy little girls to his cool contemporary disco.... as a special treat prins thomas regurgitates the track with a little gastric acid..... yuck
