In the mid 90s, deep within London’s underground scene, Matt Hodgson (7th Voyage) and Laurant Webb (Housey Doingz) created an acid record that slowly became a cult favourite, highly sought after by DJs and vinyl collectors. A seamless fusion of raw acid techno energy and house infused groove.

These standout tracks are driven by sharp, meticulously programmed
drums and massive 303 basslines. Each track unfolds as a raw, evolving journey, balancing tension and release with hypnotic precision. It’s the raw signature sound of the time, still as exciting today

Recorded at Swag Studios Croydon in 1996 and initially released on
Surreal, this record quickly became a treasured rarity. Now, it’s back with a notable reissue as part of the Pariter collection.

These tracks are among my absolute favourites in the realm of house music. Their haunting grooves seamlessly blend into house, techno or even garage sets. Despite being recorded about 30 years ago the sonic quality remains unmatched for its time, embodying the essence of timeless music.

However, I’ve never been entirely satisfied with the sound of the original pressings. The vinyl limited total time length compromised the audio quality. Thus, I’ve long desired to remaster it in my studio and properly cut them, which led to our decision to undertake this endeavour.

I am immensely proud of this release and thrilled to include it in our exquisite collection on Pariter. YA

Derek Carr is a cult underground producer who has been knocking it out of the park in the last few years, but has been making music going way back. He has a stylish take on stripped-back and deep house and techno favoured by many DJs and dancers. Now, two of his most acclaimed cuts get remastered edits by Yossi Amoyal as a taster ahead of Carr's upcoming Archive compilation on the Pariter label. Some 20 years on from its initial release, it's amazing how fresh and current 'Praise' by Leigh Dickson sounds, every bit as reinvigorating as a swim in an icy mountain stream. Sushitech imprint Pariter have opted to remaster the lush original mix in its full glory, adding the already well known and much loved Baby Ford Heavenly Circuit remix alongside a new, unreleased 'alternative remix' and new mixes by Pariter's own Ogerman and Derek Carr. All four sides are eminently playable in the deep house/techno framework, as you'd imagine, with varying levels of the original's bewitching instrumentation retained.
