Minimal Detroit has deep roots in the city where techno was born, but the spirit of this music is intergalactic. This inaugural EP celebrates “The Bridge” established in Techno between Detroit and Berlin, which resonates around the world.
Side A features two Detroit legends, Terrence Dixon aka Population One and Rod Modell (Deepchord, Echospace), while Side B features two Berlin based artists: the inimitable Thomas Fehlmann (3MB, The Orb, Kompakt, Tresor) and Domenique Xander (Moods & Grooves Records).
The record itself is also a bridge, mastered in Berlin by Mandmade Mastering, and pressed by Archer Record Pressing, who have been pressing records in Detroit since 1965. This limited release is the first chapter of what will certainly be a long and beautiful musical story. More
