This is a tribute & was made during a place of sadness & grief for two amazing humans we lost last years, Rob Maguire on 18 december 2023 & Lea-Rose Besson aka Radical Softness on 15 February 2024.
They were the most unconditional loving persons I ever met, sharing love, breathing love, teaching us so much about being better everyday, leaving us as their mission on Earth were completed.
Still, the ones who stay, stand still. With only our memories to remember their souls, being infused by their aura of life forever. Its from those people when you feel instantly good around, making you feel comfortable, loving yourself more, accepting yourself & being vulnerable while powerful.
From all over the world and especially in Berlin, many of us where impacted so much by their kindness and souls, offering us a space to be heard & seen, when so many of us couldn't. We all know that it was such a privilege to knew them & shared wisdom with and timeless experiences, being kids around old souls, teaching us how to love beyond time & space.
Its from this place that most of the tracks of this EP were created, fighting for resilience through dark times. I felt the need to make them this tribute while healing from pain to find love in myself and others. Being grateful for everything that happens in life even if it never last.
Gaman, from the Japanese means, perseverance. That illustrate never giving up on ourselves, our dreams, our life, keep shining one day after the other, because being alive is the most unique privilege we will ever have.
While everything is temporary, music still belong, making them heard a little bit longer through vibrations.

Fresh off the heels of his first release on Figure, French producer Arkan deepens his explorations of a unique sound with Part 2 of his Lightworker EP.
His signature blend of mental techno is expanded upon, with opener Broken Clock swaying and rumbling mysteriously like a hypnotic pendulum over an abrasive groove. Pulsing picks up traction and pushes the momentum forward while still allowing jagged textures and cavernous effects to paint a largely looming soundscape.
The flipside gets treated to more colours, with the linear Plaintive works its magic through a set of dense and emotive synths, slowly creating an uplifting yet condensed energy.
Dark Clouds equally builds a strong atmosphere, using ricocheting sparks of panning synths and lighting to conjure the ominous feeling of a rising thunderstorm.

The latest addition to the Figure roster comes in form of French producer Arkan. A musician from young age, he combines minimalist, deep-cut grooves with understated harmonies.
His first release on the label arrives as part one of his Lightworker double EP, giving the artist ample room to showcase his own vision of contemporary, „mental techno“ as he dubs it himself.
Fitting this description, opener Delirium is a deeply hypnotic tune, mastering the subtle art of sustain and release to effortlessly cycle its own energy. Vicious Night then tips towards a more percussively lead momentum yet stays true to the less-is-more approach of Arkan.
On the flip he gets to further build on his musical ideas, whether it be the melodic fragments echoing pensively in and out of the 4/4 grid over the galopping beat of Voltaris or eventually the saccharine, IDM-reminiscent ambient closer What Is Born Cannot Die.

Reuniting a tight circle of artists whose contributions have helped shape the label, the release offers an unrelenting sequence of pressure, mental twists, and textural collisions; a multifaceted snapshot of techno's enduring capacity to evolve, disturb, and seduce.
The compilation resists uniformity. Instead, it thrives on contrast: tension versus release, density against spaciousness, rhythm in all its permutations. From high-energy metallic openers and dub-inflected body rollers, to disorienting, delay-heavy experiments and stripped-back percussive tools, each contribution reveals a unique grip on groove and detail. Some tracks move like engineered machines: sharp, robotic, and syncopated to surgical precision. Others embrace sensuality and unpredictability, exploring spatial motion, layered harmonic friction, and states of controlled chaos. Z.I.P.P.O returns to SK11 with his second EP 'Eleven', a collection of four tracks that defy formula while remaining anchored to the roots of techno. Boldly unconventional yet highly functional, each piece serves as a passage: a shift in tempo, tone, or texture, shaped by a deeply personal sonic vision. Rather than offering a fixed narrative, the record encourages fluid movement - between genres, emotional states, and sonic architectures. The EP kicks off with the title track "Eleven", which carries the weight of a timeless hymn - balancing melancholy and release through an impactful lead motif, anchored by a heavy, hypnotic kick. "Hypernova" dives into submerged territory, where swinging percussions, chopped vocals, and aquatic atmospheres unfold with eerie precision on its 909 workout. On the B side, "Kaus" moves in a state of continuous evolution: elegant and deep, driven by tribal rhythms and swelling chords that glide into trance-like dimensions. Rhythms are as urgent and rooted in the dancefloor as ever, but melodies have grown more haunting and emotive. This release sees Holden charting new sonic territory with two ambient tracks to open and close the record. Opener "Dust" brings melody and harmony to the foreground to set the emotional tone for the peak-time techno tracks that follow, while the closing track, "Frost", ends the EP on a more hopeful note, its yearning melody disappearing into the mist beyond the sunlight.
