Tracklist 12":
A1: Quake
A2: 32MB
B1: NFS

Short Info:
Techno, Midwest Trap, Grime and Breaks synthesised? This may sound like a rather experimental combination. Nevertheless the outcome of Leibniz' latest innovation is a very DJ friendly 4-Tracker called "Quake". The artist is co-founder of the hundert label, half of the projects DJ OK and DJ Bwin and responsible for releases on Shtum, Ratlife, Ortloff and Fourth Wave. "Orbb almost dodged Jay's rocket". Mastered by Beni Brachtel aka Bartellow. Artwork by Paul Bernhard and Arthur Poitevin.

12” with printed sleeve. Artwork by Albrecht Gaebel
Tracklist:
A1 Bubble Tune (06:50)
B1 Hydrogen (07:17)
B2 Deep Sea (06:49)
Shortinfo:
So what’s the deal now - are we all just going under? And if
so, what will we find below? On his second EP for the label,
Leibniz immerses himself deeply in the subject matter with
three tracks that draw on the titular »Hydron« as an
alternative source of energy, with three tracks offering more
water displacement than a regular Typhoon-class submarine -
it’s that cold, clear bottle of Fuji in a desert full of
uninspired memes.
The hundert co-founder overtakes the discussion about electric
cars and those damn scooters by cruising down the aquabahn
with his hydrogen car at 132 to 134 knots per minute. There’s
a coming changeover of power to be felt in the air here for
sure, yet there is much more to be gained from the water - the
fuel for your deep dive into the unknown once we’ve gone
under. In the meanwhile however, you have two options: become
conscious of the impact that we as a species have on this
planet or find the one gadget that will serve as a fix for
everything. Just remember to stay hydrated along the way.

A1. Ur Qt A2. 65BPM B1. Pizza B2. Strings on the Low
Shortinfo:
After Leibniz focused on distorted grime and jungle influenced techno on his last records, he is now diving into deeper fields with his first EP for hundert.
Over the time Leibniz has obsessively collected youtube videos that serve him as an audio sample library. Be it a review of a lawnmower or people singing to their pets, every track features bits and pieces of sound taken from these videos. By editing and cutting the original material the sounds get implemented into a new musical context.Pushing digital algorithms of music software to its limits and over the edge, Leibniz invokes digital artefacts that continue the motif of distortion.House and references to contemporary hip hop beats form the skeleton for four hazy out-of-the-ordinary cuts.

This guy Leibniz is back on Rat Life Records. You might remember him from the collaboration with Credit 00 on Basement Toolz Volume II. This time he goes for a full solo EP. The three course menu consists of a grimy appetiser called "Bat", if your stomach can handle this, we serve "Uzi" as a main course, a whole round of bullets, very hard to digest. "2 Simple" is for dessert, again quite heavy, full of fat and definitely not gluten-free.

Leibniz takes no prisoners for his return to shtum. His new EP sees the Leipziger by choice in best form. Harsh but fair. ''Grind'' is a masterpiece in the matter of building up tension with only few but proper elements. Amen to that drumming and when the strings come in the dance floor is probably already burning. ''Foolish'' is no less effective with its ultimate kick drum action and the way the pads are manipulated. Romantic Leibniz. On the flipside you get the vibrant ''This Is'' in two versions. The ''Brecht Mix'' screams RAVE in capital letters with the bleepy synths and hard snare drum while the ''Scuff Mix'' trawls through dark and unearthy Techno territories. No-nonsense music. The artwork comes courtesy of DJ Shape and Carl-Johannes Schulze.

shtum strikes back with another fresh talent straight from Leipzig's basements. With only two releases so far, Leibniz' sound is already pretty forward thinking. On "shtum 004" he explores beats between dusty House, his Hip-Hop roots and off-the-grid drum patterns. The record starts with "YouAndMe" which showcases dirty percussion work and a cracking sample over an unstoppable piano melody. "Feli" is a House killer track through and through. And when that chord changes hands are up! Based on spooky synths "PukPukPuk" sounds like nasty Ambient with heavy beats. That tune surely cuts its own path on the dance floor. Finally, "Stumm" feels like one single Rave build-up. But with understatement it denies the climax. Once again, the illustration on the B-side label is by Aram Haydeyan.

Enter the winking ship and go on a journey through the half-human-half-hyper-reality of David Gold-berg. EMO Serialism is a sparkling macrocosm of breakbeat wizardry, technoid trance, robo emotion and versicolour ornamentation. The eponymous first track with its safe ground baseline is the cotton wool of the EP, the galaxy's aether and the joyful opening ceremony of this planetary feast. BaseElmnt64 rings out! The stars align and the tournament begins. Lightyears later, hobbling yet graceful Konradichtion 101 is the daring darling of the public, thus emerges victoriously. And the moral of this story is made for / left for blank.

SSpecial remarks : Handstamped

Tracklist 12":
A1: Bo's Breakfast
A2: Bus Driver
B1: Praise Your Name
B2: Deskjet
Short Info:
Jonas Friedlich, also known through Four Triangles and Carl Gari, releases his first solo 12" on Molten Moods. The versatile 4 track EP starts with the rather straight "Bo s Breakfast" that begins with a pol-yrhythmic acid bass line leading into a catchy garage-ish chorus, kicking in out of a clear sky but fittingly. "Bus Driver" is a wicked trip, the combination of the long acid build up and a nicely chopped vocal bit is irresistible. A proven, tested (and Molten Moods certified) club banger, regardless of its rather untypical breakbeat. Track number 3 called "Praise Your Name" aces groove through perfectly cut vocal samples and a fancy reference to 90s Hip Hop and Drum n Bass aesthetics. The next and last piece on the record is the eponymous "Deskjet", which is inspired by Friedlichs conceptual sound art installations using printers. Here rather restrained synthie lines are underpinned by a power-ful kick and psychedelic tape delay noises. The 12" vinyl is handstamped on both sides and comes with sticker on the sleeve. Mastered and cut by Scape Mastering.
