A1. Ur Qt A2. 65BPM B1. Pizza B2. Strings on the Low
Shortinfo:
After Leibniz focused on distorted grime and jungle influenced techno on his last records, he is now diving into deeper fields with his first EP for hundert.
Over the time Leibniz has obsessively collected youtube videos that serve him as an audio sample library. Be it a review of a lawnmower or people singing to their pets, every track features bits and pieces of sound taken from these videos. By editing and cutting the original material the sounds get implemented into a new musical context.Pushing digital algorithms of music software to its limits and over the edge, Leibniz invokes digital artefacts that continue the motif of distortion.House and references to contemporary hip hop beats form the skeleton for four hazy out-of-the-ordinary cuts.

12” with printed sleeve. Artwork by Albrecht Gaebel
Tracklist:
A1 Bubble Tune (06:50)
B1 Hydrogen (07:17)
B2 Deep Sea (06:49)
Shortinfo:
So what’s the deal now - are we all just going under? And if
so, what will we find below? On his second EP for the label,
Leibniz immerses himself deeply in the subject matter with
three tracks that draw on the titular »Hydron« as an
alternative source of energy, with three tracks offering more
water displacement than a regular Typhoon-class submarine -
it’s that cold, clear bottle of Fuji in a desert full of
uninspired memes.
The hundert co-founder overtakes the discussion about electric
cars and those damn scooters by cruising down the aquabahn
with his hydrogen car at 132 to 134 knots per minute. There’s
a coming changeover of power to be felt in the air here for
sure, yet there is much more to be gained from the water - the
fuel for your deep dive into the unknown once we’ve gone
under. In the meanwhile however, you have two options: become
conscious of the impact that we as a species have on this
planet or find the one gadget that will serve as a fix for
everything. Just remember to stay hydrated along the way.

Tracklist 12":

Short Info:
Techno, Midwest Trap, Grime and Breaks synthesised? This may sound like a rather experimental combination. Nevertheless the outcome of Leibniz' latest innovation is a very DJ friendly 4-Tracker called "Quake". The artist is co-founder of the hundert label, half of the projects DJ OK and DJ Bwin and responsible for releases on Shtum, Ratlife, Ortloff and Fourth Wave. "Orbb almost dodged Jay's rocket". Mastered by Beni Brachtel aka Bartellow. Artwork by Paul Bernhard and Arthur Poitevin.

This guy Leibniz is back on Rat Life Records. You might remember him from the collaboration with Credit 00 on Basement Toolz Volume II. This time he goes for a full solo EP. The three course menu consists of a grimy appetiser called "Bat", if your stomach can handle this, we serve "Uzi" as a main course, a whole round of bullets, very hard to digest. "2 Simple" is for dessert, again quite heavy, full of fat and definitely not gluten-free.

Leibniz takes no prisoners for his return to shtum. His new EP sees the Leipziger by choice in best form. Harsh but fair. ''Grind'' is a masterpiece in the matter of building up tension with only few but proper elements. Amen to that drumming and when the strings come in the dance floor is probably already burning. ''Foolish'' is no less effective with its ultimate kick drum action and the way the pads are manipulated. Romantic Leibniz. On the flipside you get the vibrant ''This Is'' in two versions. The ''Brecht Mix'' screams RAVE in capital letters with the bleepy synths and hard snare drum while the ''Scuff Mix'' trawls through dark and unearthy Techno territories. No-nonsense music. The artwork comes courtesy of DJ Shape and Carl-Johannes Schulze.

shtum strikes back with another fresh talent straight from Leipzig's basements. With only two releases so far, Leibniz' sound is already pretty forward thinking. On "shtum 004" he explores beats between dusty House, his Hip-Hop roots and off-the-grid drum patterns. The record starts with "YouAndMe" which showcases dirty percussion work and a cracking sample over an unstoppable piano melody. "Feli" is a House killer track through and through. And when that chord changes hands are up! Based on spooky synths "PukPukPuk" sounds like nasty Ambient with heavy beats. That tune surely cuts its own path on the dance floor. Finally, "Stumm" feels like one single Rave build-up. But with understatement it denies the climax. Once again, the illustration on the B-side label is by Aram Haydeyan.

Release Info:
Don’t you realise that it’s getting warmer and warmer by the minute, that DJ JA’s “Warm”
EP for hundert is just the beginning of something new while things continue to heat up?
Just think about hearing it on the news, that feeling of your skin crawling, shrivelling, the
shrill alarm sounds ringing inside your head and you trying to keep your cool while the
heat is rising. Just relax though, consider the Y2K panic – how everyone breathed a
breath of relief on the 1st of January once the clock had struck midnight and everything
just stayed the same. After all, that’s maybe what we really need to be doing instead: wait
for things and nature and this planet to settle this on their own terms. Wasn’t it all just a
hazy craze back then, and isn’t the same happening now? Aren’t we all susceptible for
either apathy or paranoia, that bittersweet ambivalence also at the core of this EP, which
navigates between harsh and nervous sounds, providing both heat and the (figurative and
literal) chilling cool that we so desperately long for? Remember to stay calm when you
can and that nature couldn’t give a fuck about whether or not we start acting only when
it’s far too late; just consider your own insignificance while the melodies stretch out
beyond the horizon and into the aether. May we suggest however that you wake up, take
the first letter of each sentence, put them all together in order to see through the heat of
the moment and the chilling anxiety in order to feel what’s true, real, and present? More

Konrad Wehrmeister - Gel
12” with printed sleeve, Artwork by Albrecht Gaebel
Tracklist: A1. Kitchenblade B1. The Normal B2. Gel
Release Info:
Yeah, we get it: You can’t technically be clinically paranoid if everything you’re afraid of is actually happening. It’s been a few years since we were scared shitless of letting cell phones anywhere near our crotches and suddenly, the electromagnetic waves mess with our brains big time. Let’s not beat around the bush here, it’s all true. Your thoughts are being supervised, the government even has taken complete control over them, all while your moral compass is spinning at 78rpm like a broken shellac. It’s bad, it feels weird and just so wrong. It doesn’t even pay well, for fuck’s sake.
We know, we know: You need a remedy and you need it, like, yesterday at the latest. What we can offer for now is Konrad Wehrmeister from Munich, whose handcrafted alpha waves will interlock with your brain activity and set your will free by taking it over - it hasn’t been yours for a while now, after all. Wehrmeister’s pummeling techno is the B2B (business to brain) or even B2B2B (business to brain to booty) solution your sorry existence needs in these dire times, and he will professionally lead you to your destination with a little splash of »Radiation« to fire you up. He’s done it for Public Possession, he’s done it for Ilian Tape. He can do it for you, if you trust him enough.
So please come and join us in eternal dispersion. RSVP by the complete loss of your sanity.

You: Could you send me an email instead, please? Thank you.
Hundert: hang on a sec got te press release right here fer ya
Hundert: *the lol
Hundert: anyhow here goes
Hundert: With its third release, hundert is diving further into the technological maelstrom that has slowly transformed our perception of reality and what this thing called life is. DJ OK's "Private Messages" poses some crucial questions about how we find, form and maintain relationships in our day in age. Fittingly, its sound was forged seemingly everywhere and nowhere at once: classic New York-leaning deep house vibes meet UK-inspired gunshot sounds and the frantic grooves of contemporary outernational club music, Balearic feels converge with the slick sound palette of our digital environments. "Private Messages" is as immersive as an ever-refreshing newsfeed, but just as emotional and real as the next person checking in on you via iMessage. DJ Ja and DJ Nein's third effort can be as much enjoyed in the sweat-drenched physicality of a crammed club as it may serve as the perfect soundtrack for when you are home alone, connected with the entire world via a dimly-lit interface. These four tracks will touch your heart like a Spectre Attack would infiltrate the device you are using right now. And you know that it is unpatchable. All hardware problems are.
Hundert: would be great if you could feature this on your blog ;)
Hundert: let me know what u thought of it!!
You: Please send me an email, ok?
Hundert: i will sure lmk how u like it!!!
Hundert: everything ok over there ? :)

Info:
DJ bwin follow up Leibniz’s inaugural release for the newly-founded hundert imprint with a three-track
EP. »Trinity« draws on feverish breakbeats, hardcore influences and about 2,3 gigatonnes of bass.
Having released a split EP with DJ OK on Ireland’s First Second Label, »Trinity« sees the production
duo venture into the realm of the ancient and the mystical, the inexplicable and the possibly made-up.
Conceived as a triangle with one foot deep in the past and the other one in a future yet to explore,
»Trinity« points all gunfingaz to the startling revelation that, hey, we’re all living in a computer
simulation anyhow.
Informed by the ancient knowledge of the Dubstep elders and Jungle’s relentless search for a grain of
truth amongst the lies fed to us by the Lo-Fi House empire, DJ bwin bring together the unholy trinity of
paranoid hoover chords, melancholic textures and piercing synth notes for an EP that henceforth shall
