Good Stuff is the first single taken from Luomo's PLUS album, appearing in September 2011 on Moodmusic Records. Luomo aka Vladislav Delay, Sistol, Uusitalo... under a raft of names Finnish artist Sasu Ripatti has in the last years experimented with ambient, broken beat, glitch as well as grooves and house music with soulful vocals, working with Scissor Sisters, Black Dice, Apparat, Craig Armstrong, Massive Attack, Robert Owens and Towa Tei. Luomo is about experimenting with pop music, a big influence for Ripatti, and bringing it to a fusion of house, disco and electronica. PLUS is the 5th album for Luomo, taking the songwriter abilities of Ripatti to a new level, dwelling deep into first generation Chicago house and the pop sensibilities of 80s London, coupled with his impeccable crossover pop appeal. Never going for a one formula approach, PLUS has a distinct
Luomo sound - hypnotic, sexy and delicately insistent, rhythms following a self-movement and never standing still. Good Stuff brings Luomo's pop abilities to top-form, changing between a mid 80s boogie bass and synthetic yet warm deep house with a positive vocal deliver from the ever intriguing Chicago Boys.Remixes comes courtesy of Area, Dave DK and Nils Penner. Never going for a one formula approach, PLUS has a distinct Luomo sound - hypnotic, sexy and delicately insistent, rhythms following a self-movement and never standing still. Conquering the world of electronics with a hi-tech approach, PLUS is still grabbing the listener mostly because of the soul infused into the works. Sometimes cold and brittle, other times warm and ductile, the deeply layered backgrounds make way for outstanding vocal performances which are this time credited to the cryptically named Chicago Boys, a shy boy group of more or less known vocalist. Songs like "Good Stuff" and "Shy" are pure pop-bliss, while "Form In Void" and "Twist" shimmer in glacial electronics and gliding synths, all keeping the focus on the organic vocals to extend the album´s scope and reach far beyond expectations. The less song-focused, synth driven tunes like "Medley Through" and "How You Look" are undoubtedly reflecting the early Luomo sound from Vocal City (2000) and The Present Lover (2003), and combined with his finest songwriting makes am cohesive album which actually can and should be listened to as one whole piece.

Vladislav Delay's first ambient album in over a decade. Sasu Ripatti is one of electronic music's most prolific and eclectic producers. Throughout the last
two decades Ripatti has explored every imaginable genre with over 20 albums under aliases such as Luomo and Sistol.
A classically trained percussionist, the Finnish native has also performed as a part of the Moritz Von Oswald Trio and his own Vladislav Delay Quartet. He returns now under his Vladislav Delay moniker with a uniquely inspired album.
'Visa' was a product of pure happenstance. In early 2014, Ripatti was denied entry to the United States and was forced to cancel an entire tour. Suddenly left with unhindered time and a surplus of creative energy, he was able to give birth to the album in a span of only two weeks. Ripatti describes this time as a moment in which "a valve broke open... and I collected what came out the pipes."
'Visa is Ripatti's first foray into ambient music in over ten years, yet it is not simply passive background music. Rather it is an active entity, a soundscape built from textured layers of evocative industrial noises and dream-like melodic loops. Clocking in at just under an hour and made almost entirely with analog hardware, the album was designed to be listened to at high volume and in full detail. Beatless and void of percussion, Visa's five cuts challenge the listener to follow Ripatti on his journey through time and musical machinery.
