Short Info:
Paula Temple presents her long-awaited debut album Edge Of Everything . The result of years spent
ruminating on the healing powers of harsh noise, she employs a cinematic textural palette for a call to
action in desperate times. The album will be available via her own Noise Manifesto imprint as a 2xLP
vinyl and digital release on May 3rd.
Across twelve tracks, Paula applies warped aesthetic distortions to a broad exploration of techno.
Industrial, determined and fostering a deep sense of urgency, Edge Of Everything encourages a

refocusing of the dominant political narrative, spurring its audience with the direct message that
oppressive forces must be held accountable for their actions. As an antidote to apathy, Paula targets
raw emotion, urging us to act upon injustice.
Sonically, the album focuses on darker manifestations of the genre, appreciating their frankness
without trying to confuscate. Murky acoustics and grainy synths writhe through cavernous spaces
whilst marching drums enforce an unrelenting pressure. Brandishing a rich tapestry of noise, Paula
highlights the healing powers of darkness, drawing strength from anger and motivation from hurt.
Fast percussion and expansive sound design command attention throughout, immersing the listener
in a frenzied swirl of acoustic treatments and sinister, albeit strangely inviting textures. Each track
carves a unique sonic space, imagining alternative worlds of their own, from the mammoth stomping
ground of ‘Joshua & Goliath’ and psychedelic synth leads of ‘Quantum Unfolding’ to the frantic
ecological nightmare of ‘Raging Earth’. Also featured as part of the vinyl release is the previously
digital-only track ‘Gegen’ - a testament to Paula’s careful fusion of vast sonic creations and wrathful
techno.
Edge of Everything is a clear statement of intent, geared towards the disambiguation of manipulative
politics and dishonest leaders. A counterargument to the mediocre mainstream, it's also Paula’s most
personal release to date, applying a learned musical history into direct action.

paula temple - Ful
Paula Temple returns to R&S with her second release Deathvox EP, featuring three tracks as exciting and daring as her superb debut Colonized EP. Deathvox is a club shaking, wild, imaginative tour de force, featuring her voice transformed like nothing on earth. “I wanted to create a sonic movement completely transhuman, captivating, and capable of tingling every chakra in the body.” Monstro presents a half-speed techno industrial explosion fitting for a Nine Inch Nails mosh pit.
Ful completes the epic journey with synth melodic richness you might expect from Karen Gwyer or Nathan Fake. She named the track in gratitude to the Stockholm art group FUL for challenging European border policies. Ful means ‘Ugly’ in Swedish. Deathvox EP is the work of an inspired mind, citing her recent move to Berlin and working with progressive artists on her label Noise Manifesto as major influences on the craft of this record. Bringing together her love of post-punk, industrial noise and synthesizers, Paula Temple broadens her scope of the techno spectrum and sets her own mark yet again in this uncompromising release.

Paula Temple joins the R&S fold as the first female solo artist to be signed in the label's 30 years history. Her first release 'Speck Of The Future' was way back in 2002 and gained her the support of Jeff Mills, Claude Young, Dave Clarke and the late John Peel amongst others.
After co-developing one of the first midi controllers for DJ/live performance and teaching kids in her neighbourhood how to DJ, Paula Temple finally returns to her first love - techno music. As a self-confessed Noisician, her signature sound is an exploration of harmonics countering dissonance "Where the two meet - that is where the most interesting tension lives for me. Those intersections give me the shivers, where I feel most alive." Inspirations for all three tracks came from "imagining what it would sound like to resist the control systems we encounter every day, to refuse standardisation and covert forms of colonization." These influences are entirely evident in the ungovernable construction of 'Colonized'. 'Cloned' is a sleeker, yet no less intense affair - slivers of a female vocal cut through glitched tough drums and dark raging synths. 'Decolonization' turns techno structures on its head with a rhythmic climax, before gradually surrendering to the emotion of Paula's vocal ensemble and who better to supply a tension inducing remix too other than Ali Wells aka Perc..

SØS Gunver Ryberg, Aïsha Devi, Rrose and Paula Temple are the four artists collaborating for Decon/Recon #2. The new record will be released as limited edition vinyl and digital on 16 January 2017 on Noise Manifesto. In this collaboration series, each artist has produced a track from all the artists' sounds, yet the release credits all four artists equally on all four tracks. It is a symbolic act for reducing hierarchy, ego attachment in identity, preferring instead to shift the focus towards affinity. Paula Temple describes the bond in this second collaboration as "Every artist in this release approaches their creative energy particularly connected towards a more shamanistic mindset. When you listen to the progression of their music, it feels like the physical and mental realms we accept as reality and function within are being stripped away. Maybe that is weird to say about underground dance music, but I find the journeys each of these artists take you on are very exciting in how they affect you."
The previous record Decon/Recon #1 involved rRoxymore, Planningtorock as Aquarian Jugs, Olof Dreijer as Oni Ayun and Paula Temple as Jaguar Woman and was released in 2015.

Short info:
Future child of Paula Temple's Noise Manifesto, Decon/Recon puts strength and artivism into a new idea of scene. The first Decon/Recon release is planned on 20 April 2015, both vinyl in limited edition and digital. The brand new project is based on a new series of electronic dance music releases presenting a unique and libertarian approach to collaboration, production and dance floor action. It converges artists' samples in an open archive which is reassembled in four different tracks by the artists themselves. This project wants to put identity into a crisis by giving a collective authoriality and by letting all hierarchies collapse into a collective resonance who dares to become.
Decon/Recon is not just about new forms of self representation, the deconstructive process of the "artist" status in terms of superiority or the elaboration of new politically active business models but about composition as a scene and quality dance music at its best. The release will de/compose four future pioneers who responds to the names of Aquarian Jugsa new alias from Jam Rostron aka Planningtorock, rRoxymore, Oni Ayhun and Paula Temple herself as Jaguar Woman. The Releases' paratextual structure will play the same game. All artists shall be credited on the cover without authorial connections with the title of their own tracks exposing the listener, reader, dancer in to taking active part in the whole process.
Where Deconstructing is Reconstructing, dancing is enacting future live models into present floors.

James for over 30 years via their 90s magazine Jockey Slut. The book is edited by Disco Pogo editor Jim Butler and features interviews, essays and features from the best music journalists working today. The book features an iconic cover portrait of Aphex by seminal photographer Wolfgang Tillmans, plus a huge amount of great photography of Richard since the very beginning from some of the best music photographers in the world. Thanks also to the designer of Aphex's logo Paul Nicholson who has opened up his archives to us and also the assistance and support from the label homes of Aphex - Warp, R&S and Rephlex. Thanks also to the people behind Aphex fan website Lanner Chronicle. The book is hardback, 250 plus pages and is beautifully designed and printed of course.

After selling out the first edition more quickly than we could have imagined we have reprinted the book with a new foreword by David and Stephen Dewaele, better known as Soulwax and 2manydjs. Daft Punk featured often in the formative years of Jockey Slut magazine (including their first front cover). This tribute to the duo collates all the interviews and photos from the seminal magazine covering their early days on Soma up to the release of Discovery. Further articles cover the rest of their tenure as one of the globe’s most furtive, influential electronic acts right up to their unexpected split in February 2021.
? Their first ever interview, for Jockey Slut in 1994.
? Oral histories on their early years on Soma and the making of Homework and Discovery.
? Their first unmasked cover shot and interview for Jockey Slut in 1996.
? A Fax interview from Jockey Slut in 1995 including their doodles and handwriting.
? Long reads on Human After All, Random Access Memories and their Coachella performance.
? Vintage features from writers including Alexis Petridis, Calvin Bush and Ben Cardew.
? A History of Roule records and the duos' extra curricular activities.
? Exclusive Interview with Tony Gardner, the man behind the robots.
? Daft Punk in film: Interstella 5555, Electroma and Tron.
? Daft Punk was playing in my house - an exclusive interview with LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy.
? An exclusive interview with Pedro ‘Busy P’ Winter and Together’s DJ Falcon.
? Daft Punk superfans.
And much, much more!

It has been 10 years since Nicolas Jaar released his celebrated debut album, Space Is Only Noise here on Circus Company. With countless accolades, forays, and dips into other waters both preceding its arrival one decade ago and since with many musical ventures this LP still stands as not only a unique and verified-classic release in the artist's own expansive catalog as well as ours, but also amongst the general pantheon of electronic music of the 21st Century on the whole.
What better way to celebrate this milestone than with an immaculate must-have re-release package, with the music now spread out over double discs and cut at 45rpm on crystal clear vinyl to let the glacial top-end soar as originally intended, and the air of the general proceedings expand, once again, into the ears and consciousness of electronic music lovers the world over. Along with this technical upgrade recut, the distinct artwork has also received a facelift fit for the occasion, and will now be found adorning a full gatefold cover, inked lovingly in reverse on inside-out heavyweight paper including printed inner sleeves for a total collector's gem front-to-back.
While Nicolas Jaar's own recent online musings of the origin of the album title and lead track has us imagining playful plexiglass-letterings and a fresh sense of abstract calm before soon-to-be career storms, the music itself feels to have not aged a day past its prime of creation. From the unanimous crowdpleaser "Colomb" to "Keep Me There" indeed doing just that, with Jaar keeping us right where he left us last go-round, to the luminous titular track "Space Is Only Noise If You Can See" and omni-prophesy of "Specters Of The Future" - please join us in a warm welcoming return to this universally acclaimed classic LP, which garnered coveted spots in both RA's Album Of The Year and Pitchfork's Top 20 in 2011, now in its unmissable pristine new vinyl form, sounding as fresh as ever, a solid 10 years later.

Release Note:
SHDW & Obscure Shape launch new label Mutual Rytm with powerful eight-track V/A "Federation Of Rytm I", featuring VIL & Cravo, Lars Huismann, Grindvik and more.
Favourites for many within today's modern techno landscape, Stuttgart-based pairing Marco Blasi and Luigi Urban, aka SHDW & Obscure Shape, continue to grow their profile and position as artists leading the current new wave of techno. Having launched their first label From Another Mind in 2014, releasing material from themselves alongside remixes from the likes of Rodhad, James Ruskin and Dax J, early December welcomes the arrival of a new project and a second imprint to the fold, Mutual Rytm.
Showcasing a new dimension of techno and electronic music, celebrating originality and innovation by combining timeless cuts from the past with cutting edge sounds of the present and the future, the label will serve as a breeding ground for new artists alongside established talent and legends from the scene. Opening the imprint in style, the label bosses head up the first-ever release and the first V/A "Federation Of Rytm I" as they welcome a selection of new and established talent.
"Since the beginning of the global pandemic, we have been diving deep into the roots of our music and working on the aesthetics of our sound. That's when we realized that now is the right time to start a new project which differs from FAM, in both musical and artistic direction. The project will showcase a new dimension that aims to channel the authentic perspectives of both established and up-and-coming talents. With our new label, we want to give all artists the opportunity of musical freedom and expression of their versatility as producers. It is an honour to accompany the young artists on their careers, to see them grow and to help them in their development as musicians." - SHDW & Obscure Shape
The duos rolling opener "Conquest Of Paradise" quickly sets the tone and builds to reveal a classy and slick offering, combining rich stabs with tough drums and sharp hats, while Invexis keeps the tempo high as he weaves escalating synths and pacy kicks across "Elektronenwind". VIL & Cravo combine on the jacking and lively "Apolonia Loop", as eerie synths work amongst warped vocals across a tweaked out peak-time effort, before Alarico keeps the energy levels up throughout the relentless funk of "I'm Into You".
The second half of the package sees Lars Huismann enter the fray with the no-nonsense, snaking grooves of "Hyper Dub", with Nicolas Vogler's "Sauva Bite" fusing hypnotic tones with straight regimented claps for an intense yet playful ride through sounds and sonics. "Your Dry Lips" switches up the aesthetic as Grindvik journeys down a wormhole of metallic percussion and warping low-ends, before closing the show with authority via Stigmata's grinding and menacing offering "Gestas".

2025 REPRESS….
Waveform Transmission Vol.3 initially came out in 1994 on Tresor Records.
The eight titles on the album marked a turning point for Jeff Mills. It indicates a transition from the straightforward sound he had created through the early 1990's, into the different facets and sound pallet he will develop through the remainder of the decade. It is a significant piece within Jeff Mills' masterwork.
