Wrapping up the summer with a bit of a 90s throwback number by St. David, ?Fools Jam?. The EP opens with the the titual track, a crunchy, crisp deep house burner, and moves on, with “Night Lovers,” into speedier, smoother floor-filling fodder that’s all wiggling, weaving pads and synth leads. The B is a little gentler and more contemplative, but no less melodious; “Dream It (Emphasi Mix)” is a playful yet gauzy piano-led tune that serenades the listener, and “La Luna (Spiritual Dub)” is a tranquil ditty that serenely glides off into the distance.
