For our fourth installment of the “Roar Groove meets Dirt Crew” series we present you this new set of shimmering and dubbed out Revenge cuts. After the last episode Graeme has been very busy working his “live” studio setup to come up with a whole range of new jams of which we have selected the below four tracks. We think these best represent his unique style and once you hear these in a club you instantly know “That’s a Revenge Tune”, something we have always loved about his sound.

The opening “Like an Ending” is a trippy, melancholic-euphoric track driven by a Moog Voyager bass line and classic House keys and vibe. The original recording was an 11 minute live take that he has been able to capture the essence off and narrow it down to this thumping club jam.

The A2 is all about those good times and it reminds us a lot of early 90s “French Touch”, filtering House at it’s best, it keeps running around in your head and with it’s slower pace we are sure this one will do especially well on the early morning dance floors and high summer sun drenched beaches.

On the other side we enter darker and more dubbed out territories. Here is the first track in Graeme’s words “This one had been knocking around for a couple of years in various forms, but it wasn’t really until I stripped it all back and let the arpeggiated synth do it’s thing that it really seemed to gel. It’s really the rhythm of the whole thing, I ended up scrapping extra hi-hats and stuff that was just getting in the way.” And we have to mention that we personally love that marimba! This track is like a spaceship floating the skies and eventually touching down.

To close out this new work we have one of these typical stab-y Revenge chuggers, loose and floating, synth lines underlaid by a distinctive beat, it has kind of a breakbeat feel to it and with the improvising on those synths and melodies on top of it all it’s a true Dub House track.

Summer is here and this record sets the pace and tone! Enjoy!

We present you the third release in our very successful collaboration series with “Roar Groove” and “The Revenge”.
Straight after his new brilliant album “When the Thrill Comes” that was release in May this year Graeme Clark is back
on Dirt Crew with four new gems.

The opening, funky and twisting, “Times Get Tough” is a deep rolling down tempo Disco/ House stomper that builds into this
ecstatic groove we got to love so much from his previous outings. Pure good times and hands in the air action promised on this one!
“Subconcious” is that darker and meaner side of House track with a slammin’ Chicago beat he delivers this old school jackin’ feel.
Big bass lines and soulful vocal samples tied together by “on the fly” drum patterns.

The B-side of this new EP opens with an hypnotic jam that builds and builds till those sweet synths start soaring in.
All carried by this ultra phat bass line, we can only imagine how this one will sound on a massive sound system!
“Searchlight” is def a highlight of this release. Can we go even deeper and darker? oh yes! With “Come Down” we get
a proper come down to close this EP. Deep sub basses with floating tops and again that classic Jack House beat.
Certainly a late night track made for those sweaty and long dj sets.

Summer is here and “The Revenge” has the perfect soundtrack for hot and steamy nights, inside or on the open field!

Never one to rest, our pal The Revenge has been busy as always. His latest LP as 6th Borough Project "Find Your Rhythm" recently dropped on Roar Groove, he created a beautifully delicate remix of Auntie Flo's "Waiting for a (Woman)", had a change of scenery relocating from Scotland to Denmark and his collab EP with Dirt Crew, flush with Nachtbraker remixes was one of our biggest records of 2016! Amongst the action he's taken the time and a more "in yer face" approach to write us his latest EP, a four-tracker of proper club tracks.

"Every Night" brims with raucous disco energy. The "French Filter House" reminiscent gem's strings shimmer and funk horns hit heavy, a jam destined to wear holes in shoes. "Grit" attends to the easy-going Disco grooves we love so much from The Revenge, plenty of shake and soul it's overflowing with good-mood energy.

B-side opener "Never Learn" gives us a glimpse of the darker end of The Revenge's spectrum. Subby toms rumble, tweaked out synths bleep and slide and delayed key stabs shift the party into smoke hazed, underground rave mode. The closing track "Krokodille" brings that Bass n Electro gritty booming sound! The acidic lead wraps around sturdy drums. Straight forward with plenty of kick, what an ending to a high quality EP!

We are proud to announce our first ever collab release with another label and above all, from one of our all time fave producers out there, “The Revenge”. His Label „Roar Groove“ has become a household name for excellent deep dance floor excursions into dubbed out and disco fuelled
house music and is the perfect fit for our vision of dance music.
Making up “Roar Groove meets Dirt Crew Recordings” you’ll find three originals from The Revenge himself, plus two remixes from our resident producer Nachtbraker. We get right into it on the A1 with a rolling disco workout on “Conkers”. This track lifts and intensifies into a straight up dance floor destroyer. The perfect balance of elements, tantalizing synth licks, an oscillating bass line and a vocal that dares you not to get up. Next, “Do The Right Thing” explores the aforementioned quintessential dub disco territory, slipping and sliding, pulsing keys and glistening melodies sing to rum infused coconuts and salty sunsets. Nachtbraker flips the same jam on the B1 giving it his signature deep house vigor, while adding some new jazz elements, highlighting the undeniable underlying funk of the original. “New Attitude” reps that proper “Revenge” sound, this track resides in the realm of the indescribable, we’re not sure if techno is quite the word for it, but a deep and rhythmically pulsing exploration through gritty soundscapes bringing some , always welcome, disco lasers along for the ride.Finally, on our digi only special, Nachtbraker slows things down a little reworking “Conkers”. He’s swung the vibe, infused a little more funk, and once again taught us all a lesson on how to write a bass line you can get your body behind. On these 3 originals “The Revenge” proves to be on top of the game, and adding two excellent Nachtbraker remixes to the release, things can’t get any better really ... we are more than thrilled to put out this special product on beautifully designed wax.
