For the 6th No Bad Days release, the label pulls in a shining star from an unlikely place: the city of Bandung, Indonesia. Already loved at home for his work with disco edit gang Midnight Runners, here MUNIR strikes solo, offering up an extension of his synthcraft and taste for low-slung modern funk + boogie.

Searching for that new Dam Funk-esk or Brian Ellis-esk tune to set the roof on fire? Look no further! Munir delivers 5 luscious grooves pleasing the listener.
"Underground House Music from Indonesia." Munir surfed the globe with his band MIDNIGHT RUNNERS and stirred up the underground Funk community worldwide, earning him releases on Omega Supreme Records, Groove College and more recent at Hobo Camp Records. His early Disco and New Age influences result into heavy Funk and House sounds. Through vintage beat machines and synths, and with the help of his friend from Japan; Azumi, Munir captures the feeling of the late 70s and early 80s and transforms it into well-balanced layered cuts from 2016. Both sides showcase his skills and passion. Thick chord arrangements on the keys, boogie basslines and smooth guitar licks create his recognizable sound. More

Ruf Dug - Medieval Zone
Welcome to the Crystal Maze. Your host Ruf Dug is here to guide you through this mysterious landscape.
Firstly, you arrive at the 'Future Zone’. You tap the passcode into the keypad. Success! The sound of Balearic Trance awaits you. Computer code scrolls past the interface as your mental state is set to Hedonistic Bliss. A race through space is the place.
No time to ponder though, as you are bundled onto to the next stage, a humid tropical haunt they call 'Aztec Zone’. Some sort of supernatural presence tails you as reverberating wails call out from the deep. Focus, focus. Secure the crystal, flip the disc and proceed to the other side.
'Industrial Zone' quickens your heart rate. Metal sparks, machines clash and synths ping about. You feel revitalised and assured in your chances of progress. Suddenly you are transported to a dark room with what appears to be a hologram of Ruf Dug presenting you with a crystal. Do you accept? Your hand reaches out but your feet give way. Crumbs – trap door.
You land with a crunch in the concluding 'Medieval Zone’, with a pair of sandals curiously strapped to your soles. With a quick sip of mead you are beckoned by the sound of a distant chime. Cue the Crystal Dome and roll end credits. All calm. The trip has come to an end but Ruf Dug is nowhere to be seen.
What has just happened? Was it at all real? Only one way to be sure. Return to the edge of NBD009 and the journey through the Crystal Maze. More

A1 - Honeymoon Junction
A2 - Circle Dance
B1 – Basalt (???)
No Bad Days is back with the weird and wonderful sounds of the Korean tropics for Closet Yi’s debut release ‘Tam Tam Land’. Opening with ‘Honeymoon Junction’ we are greeted by the signature floaty yet punchy sound that often comes with a No Bad Days record but then around the halfway mark, an almost abrupt eeriness ambience washes over the track, letting us know: this isn’t going to be quite what you expected. ‘Circle Dance’ is next on the A side which is more of a functional club track in its structure to it’s predecessor. Birds tweet and a female Korean voice creeps in and out of the mix, luring us deeper into the depths of the island.
Hopping over to the B side we arrive at the climax of ‘Tam Tam Land’ with the thumping ‘Basalt (???)’. Closet Yi flexes her skills in producing a peak time acid-tropische-prog-banger and doesn’t disappoint. More
