Having released a wealth of quality cuts across the house and minimal spectrum for over a decade, Russian-born DJ and producer Tripmastaz has grown to become a go-to producer for many, serving up his dynamic blend of house sonics accented by hip-hop influences via notable imprints such as Ovum, Yoyaku and Bass Culture. Following collaborations alongside the likes of DJ Sneak, Guti, and Satoshi Tomiie, and sets at European hotspots including Heideglu¨hen, Watergate and Rex Club, the Plant 74 Records boss now makes his Infuse debut as he delivers four fresh productions in the form of his latest EP, ‘Whut Klubb Phuture Holdz?’. EP opener ‘Klubb Lonely’ welcomes a low-slung effort guided by slinking hats, rumbling sub-bass and resonant synth leads, whilst ‘Da Phuture’ combines skipping percussion, sweeping atmospherics and tripped out vocal hooks. Next, the lively ‘Original Rudebwoy’ sees sharp hi-hats meet two-step drum arrangements atop of menacing garage tinged low-ends, before closing proceedings with ‘Someone’ – a paired-back, groove heavy production led by infectious vocals and airy chords throughout. Tripmastaz presents Tripmastaz 05, the 5th release of a series off his eponymous vinyl only imprint and "made by the ones who believe and put soul, thoughts, ideas and life to their music, art and craft. This music is for the ones who care." Previous releases of the series have already received support by artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Cabanne and Apollonia. Tripmastaz 05 starts with Gruv101, a dynamic tech-house track filled with various powerful percussions and a discrete early 2000 synth-vibe. It is followed by Nauchniy Stil', a groovy track enriched by mysterious and subtle synth, percussion and even jungle sounds. It is the result of the collaboration between Tripmastaz, Mr. Pepper and BMB Spacekid, a Russian hip-hop producer who worked with DJ Premier and Anderson Paak amongst many other American MCs and producers, and whose beat is featured on Dr. Dre's Compton album.
The release ends with Tripmastaz's Real Friends, a smooth hip-hop track with a guitar and piano groove that won't leave the listener indifferent. More

Now is the time to unleash a new generation of Schmers on an unprepared world and they are prepared to set the world on fire. Coming out strong to whip us all into shape we've unleashed Isabella and she'll leave you "Spun Out". Isabella has done tracks for Jacktone, Embalming Lately, Borft, S1, Peder Mannerfelt Produktions. She uses hardware, live, to produce unhinged techno. Now she has done one for Schmer, which had already lost its hinges decades before. Since 2015, Ciel's monthly radio show "Work In Progress" in Montreal has been highlighting the best and weirdest in underground electronic music produced by women. She has released tracks on Junted (Marshall Applewhite's new imprint), the benefit compilation Power Puerto Rico, and a three- track EP on Peach Discs which landed on numerous year-end lists from Fact Magazine, Mixmag, and Resident Advisor. She provides Schmer with the pristine sounds of "Bad Luck Comes in 3s". Hiroko Yamamura is the Classic Chicago ride or die style DJ/producer influenced by The Warehouse, technology, and straight up techno, its no wonder she has been named one of Chicago's top 10 DJs by XLR8R magazine. Finally Schmer stops messing around with the Chicago sound and puts the real thing out with Hiroko's "Babyayez" track. Experimental Housewife is Evelyn Malinowski, a longstanding DJ and maker of music.(Run The Length Of Your Wildness | Jacktone Records | Perfect Location | Juxtatextureall) Now based in San Francisco, she partakes in multiple open collaborations, like the one with the highly skilled DJ and producer Andrew Bowen aka Bilaga´ana. "Free Ends" was created, a track with grit yet full of innocent meandering. Its the cherry on top of our Schmerlicious cake.

As BPMF started making techno again, he surveyed his techno friends asking them what it was about his music they found the most annoying. The answers? TR-606 hi-hats and portamento.
He proceeded to focus on these aspects of his music and today the results are here: "Abide the Glide Volume 4" wherein BPMF is pushing all the right buttons to get the DJ thinking about the sounds their pumpin. Jamie Morris provides an excellent DJ freindly remix of "Even Straighter", taking BPMF's idea and going even straighter.

"Old Man Raver Pants" proves that a 50 year old man can still party, so long as he's wearing his raver pants and while there's been alot of talk about alternative facts, "Alt-Slacks" is a dub inspired jam that seems like it's narrative might fall apart at anytime.

Schmer-007 "Smoking is Still Bad for You - Volume 1" is here and contains old school and new cool tracks from all the original Schmer culprits plus some loops from our new friends. Dietrich Schoenemann and Prototype 909 dug their tracks out of their vast archives of unreleased originals. DJ RX-5 and BPMF delivered some hot new Schmers to get us moving again.
