Hot off the back of the their successful inaugural release from Quenum & Cesare vs Disorder, the young Barcelona label continues to drive forward with their mission to move people by drawing from an expansive and expressive universe of melodic and rhythmic sounds. The result of this is a carefully curated, limited edition of vinyl and digital releases, and next in line is a brand new EP from Russian producer and DJ, Tripmastaz. Andrew Guyvoronsky (aka Tripmastaz) is the one of a few underground producers from Russia to make serious tidal waves in the dance community gaining world-wide recognition and respect from fans, media and DJs alike. On top of his tracks being featured in a variety of famous compilations such as Fabric and DJ-Kicks, Tripmastaz has been focused on a busy touring schedule and on making Russia decidedly more funky for the past 10 years. This new EP melds the stripped back with the downright, dirty bass bombs synonymous with Tripmastaz's style. Title track 'Ain't Made 4 U' is a swirling house-funk journey that is built to move bodies across floors. 'Live from the Basement' takes things back a little with a more minimal approach to percussive techno then Christian Burkhardt & Andre Buljat's remix of EP opener slams us back to the heady, peak-time dance floor, before HITCH closes out the EP with his rolling and hypnotic take on the A-side.

Having released a wealth of quality cuts across the house and minimal spectrum for over a decade, Russian-born DJ and producer Tripmastaz has grown to become a go-to producer for many, serving up his dynamic blend of house sonics accented by hip-hop influences via notable imprints such as Ovum, Yoyaku and Bass Culture. Following collaborations alongside the likes of DJ Sneak, Guti, and Satoshi Tomiie, and sets at European hotspots including Heideglu¨hen, Watergate and Rex Club, the Plant 74 Records boss now makes his Infuse debut as he delivers four fresh productions in the form of his latest EP, ‘Whut Klubb Phuture Holdz?’. Tripmastaz presents Tripmastaz 05, the 5th release of a series off his eponymous vinyl only imprint and "made by the ones who believe and put soul, thoughts, ideas and life to their music, art and craft. This music is for the ones who care." Previous releases of the series have already received support by artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Cabanne and Apollonia. Tripmastaz 05 starts with Gruv101, a dynamic tech-house track filled with various powerful percussions and a discrete early 2000 synth-vibe. It is followed by Nauchniy Stil', a groovy track enriched by mysterious and subtle synth, percussion and even jungle sounds. It is the result of the collaboration between Tripmastaz, Mr. Pepper and BMB Spacekid, a Russian hip-hop producer who worked with DJ Premier and Anderson Paak amongst many other American MCs and producers, and whose beat is featured on Dr. Dre's Compton album.

His four track EP is a testament to his ability to cook up chunky club groves that cannot fail to make their mark. That is immediately proven with title track "Wax Mania", a bulky techno roller with monstrous kicks, raved up synth stabs and knocking percussion that all invite you to stomp along to the groove before some jazzy chords enter the mix and funk things up.
"Taped Chrome" was written and recorded in one session, was recorded straight to tape and is an angst ridden, edgy peak time cut with coarse claps, loud, alarm-like synths and grumbling bass that will rattle the walls of any club. The perfectly dark and consuming "Till Melted" has pinging rubber kicks swaying beneath all sorts of withering and whirring synth lines and is a perfect freak out tune. Full of mischief and intensity with lots of subtle effects all adding to the tension, it is one that will get fists pumping in any set. Finally, "F What You Heard" is a deeper house cut with a synth line that rises and falls in loudness, sucking you in as it goes whilst blocky drums stomp out a thick groove. This is effective, solid dancing music that is also hugely fun from the Russian star.

Tripmastaz is a name that has been steadily pushing forward his career in the past year, with his latest works on Be As One, Moon Harbour, Cecille, and Magnetic Recordings (complete with a Loco Dice remix) been heavily supported by the djs gang out there Now, Andrew is debuting with a full EP on Be As One, after his appearance on the latest Tools For School Vol.3 compilation. House Syndrome opens the EP with a bang - truly an infectious tech house stormer for the big stages, which is already championed by the A-list djs Constant Learning is a proper tribal techno affair that combines a rolling groove with a catchy melody, an uplifting summery mood. On the B side Tripmastaz takes things into deeper territories with Quiet Hit Men, an acidic bassline worked around a machine groove as Andrew knows to deliver. Pende (Dub) closes this EP with an underground attitude, a tune that will be noticed by those looking for a special moment on the floor.

For release no.4 Sudden Drop enlisted the talents of Russian based recording artist & DJ Tripmastaz, who has been producing for the likes of Morris Audio and most noticeably DJ Sneak’s Magnetic Recordings imprint since 2004. With each release his sound seems to get more defined and mature and our attention which seriously pricked when we first heard his tracks being played on Jus-Ed’s radio show. We quickly got in touch and asked for some tracks. First up is ‘Utilized Stock Sounds’, originally produced in 2003 this melancholic slab of deep techno deservedly finally sees the light of day with a grimy lo-fi feel and enough dance floor nous to work the floor admirably. Flip side track ‘Botinko Dub’ injects a big, cavernous bass line and razor sharp hats n’snares.
