Brame& Hamo´s Brand New Label!
Track list:
A1 Trants
B1 Hurt You
B2 Clarence (Smooth Mix)
Release Info:
Straight out of Sligo, Ireland, Brame & Hamo have expertly produced some of the most effortless house music of the last few years. Following acclaimed releases on labels such as Dirt Crew and Heist, the duo now take full control with their debut release on a fresh, personal imprint, simply titled 'Brame & Hamo'.
B&H001, 'Trants', is a versatile three-tracker that expertly captures the light and shade of the duo's production pallette. Opening the EP, title-track 'Trants' (say it aloud to trace the inspiration), provides a hugely satisfying denouement. Awash in a retro-futurist haze, flavours of early bleep techno, dusty drums and yes, outright trance flavours provide the ingredients for a euphoria-inducing trip that culminates in a melodic call to arms-in-the-air.
Things get much tougher throughout 'Hurt You', which begins with an immediate strike of chunky percussion, jacking Chi-town rhythms and an unapologetically menacing organ line. As the requisite vocal sample delivers emotive threat, the mood only gets darker still, delivering something akin to an outsider house rendition of a lost Dance Mania cut.
Finally, providing a soft landing with an early-doors on-the-floor heater, 'Clarence' lives up to it's 'Smooth Mix' subtitle, as a lounging piano line gently gives way to vibrant sax and a soothing female vocal sample, while still maintaining a precise and irresistible groove for the club.
Expanding seamlessly on their reputation as DJs and producers with an instinctive understanding of the genre, B&H001 is as soulful, tough and deeply satisfying of a house record as anything in Brame & Hamo's already impressive musical repertoire. Indeed, here's your Trants, now dance!

Following a string of releases this year, Bicep are keeping it green on their label with Sligo local heroes Brame & Hamo’s two originals and two remixes making up FMB015. Fresh from remixing TSHA’s latest track ‘Moon’ on Ninja Tune offshoot Counter Records, 2019 continues to be a big year for Brame & Hamo who have come through the ranks of Irish talent. Having kept all releases to their own imprint Brame & Hamo; it’s now time for them to step outside their home, and up onto Bicep’s label with two tracks ‘Waves Reach’ and ‘Dust’, along with remixes from Poland's Private Press and Voiski from France. Earlier this year saw the duo teaming up with Mall Grab to perform three gigs across the UK, raising an impressive £15k for a trio of multiple sclerosis charities.

Brame & Hamo - B2. Dial Up
Brame& Hamo´s Brand New Label with Release no.5 !
Track list:
A1. Pressure
B1. Transit
B2. Dial Up
Release Info:
After a brief period of studio lock-down at the start of 2019, Brame & Hamo are back and present their fifth EP ‘Pressure’ on their eponymous imprint, due out on the 24th of June.
Having recently appeared in the Mixmag Lab, and put out a highly-curated mix via Ninja Tune’s Solid Steel Radio late last year, the duo from Sligo have an ever-increasing tour schedule, which is taking their vibrant brand of music to dancefloors worldwide. They recently completed a sell out four-show tour in Australia, and have trips to the USA, Canada and Asia booked for later in 2019.
This EP is a contagiously energetic three tracker. Starting off with ‘Pressure’, an infectious drum pattern morphs into a driving and spacey dance floor weapon. ‘Transit’ is an intricate commute of driving synths, whilst ‘Dial Up’ is the guy’s take on breakbeat rave, taking inspiration from Josh Wink and Chemical Brothers.
“The start of 2019 has been a few months locked away in the studio juggling demos for various labels and making sure everything is just the way we wanted it. We have been putting ourselves under a lot of (self-inflicted) pressure to continue to deliver music of the standard of previous releases, and finally we got there. Each of the tunes took only a few hours and were all done in one take, using all the hardware in our studio during some intense jam sessions’.

3
Brame & Hamo - Request Rhythm
Brame& Hamo´s Brand New Label with Release no.4 !
Track list:
A1. Midnight Express
B1. Celebrity Impersonator
B2. Request Rhythm
Release Info:
At the forefront of the Irish electronic music scene, Sligo-born Berlin-based duo Brame & Hamo, aka Tiarnan McMorrow and Conor Hamilton, announce their hotly anticipated fourth EP, “Celebrity Impersonator” out on the 29th October 2018 via their own imprint, Brame & Hamo.
The title reflects the duos personality and playful energy, nodding to their love of celebrity impersonators whilst growing up. “We have a bit of a soft spot for impersonators as it is a pretty ridiculous way to earn a living. A bit like DJing! Our favs were those of Tom Cruise, Bill Gates, Gordon Ramsay and Johnny Depp”.
Opening with ‘Midnight Express’, the rolling melodics nod to the early sounds of prog house and Italo, acting as a transitional opener to their signature trance via techno scores. On the B-Side, title track ‘Celebrity Impersonator’, is a moody four four that edges into the darker realms with their love of breakbeat shimmering through, resulting in a club ready anthem. Melting down into a rolling trance groove with a late night heady feel, ‘Request Rhythm’ closes the EP.
With an impressive discography of EP’s behind them on their own imprint - Trants, Club Orange and the DJ favourite, Limewire, as well as bookings worldwide the Irish pair are set to propel onwards from Sligo to Berlin and beyond.

Brame & Hamo - Limewire (Tuff City Kids Remix)
Brame& Hamo´s Brand New Label with Release no.3 !
Track list:
A1 Parade Rain
A2 Sports Complex
B1 Limewire
B2 Limewire (Tuff City Kids Remix)
Release Info:
Brame & Hamo are back with the third release on their eponymous imprint. ‘Trants’ and ‘Club Orange’
effortlessly upheld the Berlin based duo’s reputation for dancefloor ready hits, with the latter selling out in one
day. Picking up where the others left off, ‘Limewire EP’ is a nod to their early influences channelling house, techno, trance and breakbeat.
Over three tracks, Brame & Hamo brandish the party starting spirit they are rapidly becoming known for. Broken
beats feature heavily alongside subtle acid licks, uplifting harmonies and sweltering synth lines.
‘Parade Rain’ is a peak time house roller with pulsing bass, meditative pads and airy pipes that polish it off to
make a fine rendition to early 90’s house. ‘Sports Complex’ the darkest of the EP, builds an intense energy with a
heavy hitting 808 , shuttering reflections, a driving 303 line topped off with a trance-inducing melody that makes
this into a big room bomb. The title track is a breakbeat workout honing a classy piano riff complimented with
emotional synths, strings and more acid lines, a fruit for clarity. Finally “Tuff City Kids” aka Gerd Janson & Lauer
round it up with a club ready interpretation of their title track, adding more drum layers, a jittering bassline and a
simple but effective melody to finish it off.
‘Limewire’ EP finds the duo exploring a range of influences, expertly referencing various styles whilst still
weighing in the sound that is now unmistakably theirs.

Brame& Hamo´s Brand New Label with Release no.2 !
Track list:
A1 Roy Keane
B1 Space Dub
B2 Club Orange
Release Info:
Following their blistering 2017 'Trants' EP, Brame & Hamo return to their own B&H imprint with an irresistible follow-up, 'Club Orange', delivering another trio of spirited tracks that encompass warm-hearted house, trippy analog-textures and a general crowd-pleasing attitude that's nonetheless never short on charisma.
For the first of the three cuts, the Irish duo honour a fellow countryman, the joint-most successful Irish footballer of all time, Mr. 'Roy Keane'. Although not known for his love of joyous, blissfully filtered house anthems, the infamously dour midfielder and prawn-sandwich sceptic would surely offer a stern nod of approval from the sidelines as this hi-NRG, hi-spirits crowdpleaser works it's undeniable charm in sending both local and national league discoteques into some kind of rapture. As they like to say out on the terraces; "Goal!"
On the following cut, 'Space Dub', this same sense of soul is buried within a woozy, spaced-out atmosphere, that simultaneously soars cosmically, yet kicks hard (indeed, perhaps Roy would approve of this track too?) Intertwined with a trippy landscape of sequencers, a soothing female vocal anchors a human touch to this alluring journey of interstellar dancefloor tourism. Please have your freeze-dried space powders ready to consume for this trip.
Finally, on 'Club Orange' itself, Brame & Hamo command a complex, irresistible atmosphere that's the sound of an interplanetary shindig, as classic 'ouse rhythms intertwine with soaring synthesis and shots of ecstatic chatter from every conceivable angle. This is the authentic sound of the Mos Eisley Cantina during a lock-in, or a mid-nineties New York house spot suddenly displaced on the moon.
Smooth, soaring and deeply satisfying, 'Club Orange' is a heartfelt tribute to the social, artistic and personal potential found on dancefloors across the universe. And also to Roy Keane.

Release Info:
Splendor & Squalour number 3 see's Brame & Hamo return to their rising imprint. Since the boy's Ep "Lamaj's Secrets" on Dirt Crew we have seen them do a string of remixes for labels such as Kolor Ltd, Heist & their very successful remix for Harry Wolfman and Loz Goddard's "Uncle Buck" on Dirt Crew. All these releases have kept a steady momentum going for the Sligo boys in the house Scene.
For this ep we have a full 3 tracker consisting of all original cuts. The EP kicks off with "Kebab Dreams" which takes us on a trip to the moon with greasy drums and saucy groove. Up next is the MPC workout "Cert City" paying homage to their hometown of Sligo. Closing the Ep we have "Retch Wretchedness" which takes a darker turn showing us the spookier side of Brame & Hamo while still keeping the jazzy touch. A peak time track for sure.

Release Info:
The sleepy seaside town of Sligo, based on Ireland's Atlantic coast, seems an unlikely location to base a deep house label. More remarkably, this debut 12" from Sligo-based Splendor & Squalor comes from two residents of the town: longtime DJ buddies and hip-hop/deep house fusionists Brame and Hamo. It's a strong first outing, with each of the three original cuts coming doused in smooth soul and hip-hop influences. That's means beats that swing, sensual strings, chunky bass and the kind of pads that seem to wrap themselves around your body. The duo's collaborative "Clockwork" - arguably the pick of the bunch - is also remixed by Session Victim (think ultra deep goodness), while Hamo's sample-heavy "Soul" offers the perfect balance between smiling deep house and classic hip-house. Tracklist: A1 Lamaj (Original Mix) , A2 Lamaj (Andy Hart Remix) , B1 Four Lights , B2 Garlic Fist Pump
Release Info:
We first introduced these strapping young house aficionados from Sligo, Ireland, with their debut EP as a pair, "Street Urchin", a little over a year ago. Since then the guys have been busy with a massive release on Detroit Swindle's label Heist, not to mention their unbridled musical passion lead them to launch their own label Splendor & Squalor beginning of this year, kicking things off with a sell out vinyl only pressing of another four track EP of their own imaginings featuring a hot remix from Session Victim.
We're pleased to share with you their latest creation, the stunning "Lamaj's Secret EP". Now, we're not sure who Lamaj is exactly, but the mystery, funk and raw sex appeal in these four jams certainly has us wondering.
First up we meet "Lamaj", this track drips with delicate melodic samples, jazz tainted drums and bass driven funk galore. We asked our long time friend, Australian Andy Hart, to give it a flip for us on A2. He opened things up, deepened the vibe and brought some bass toms to deliver a final punch. The B-side begins with "Four Lights", here the guys slow things down a little and remind us of their gift for nostalgia touched soul and groove samples. Finally, "Garlic Fist Pump", as the name suggests, takes us straight back out to the dance floor, between the dynamic live drums, subtle vocal snips cry to the hip hop Brame & Hamo draw so much inspiration from.
Welcome to the House of Lamaj, we hope you'll take off your coat and stay a while.

Barcode Vinyl : 827170139220 Release Date : 05.05.2014
Track list: A1 Ghetto Lament A2 Street Urchin B1 Street Urchin (Glenn Astro & Imyrmind Remix) B2 Retrospect
Newcomers Brame & Hamo from Sligo in Ireland have teamed up for the first time ever for this fine deep debut EP. Brame already released on Morris Audio before and had a very successful EP together with Klansee last year. Even more new music is on the way for these guys in 2014 on labels like Drumpoet Community and Saints & Sonnets… so this will be a great year for them for sure and we are once again very happy to give you a first debut release on Dirt Crew! “Street Urchin” and “Ghetto Lament” are two fine pieces of classics deep house with dark rolling bass lines and soulful chord progressions, the Piano sample in “Ghetto Lament” is a beautiful reference to the golden era of Disco. As a little extra we have none other than Glenn Astro & Imyrmind on the remix, these guys have been putting out some serious dope stuff lately and this remix is no exception... raw underground house music. The last two tracks on this EP is “Retrospect” on the vinyl and “Fear In Rapture” as digital only track are more straight forward and stripped down stabby groovers with quirky acid lines that work extremely well on the dance floors ... road tested many times already… Brame & Hamo will definitely make big waves with this release and we are happy to welcome them to the Dirt Crew family.

Brame & Hamo - No Title
