TRACKLIST
1. / A1 Multiplying My Absurdities 06:22
2. / A2 Punks In The Gym 07:12
3. / B1 Humanoid Fruit 08:41
With Multiply Your Absurdities, Helena Hauff delivers her long-awaited 12-inch debut on Tresor: a multi-colored inauguration, masterfully crafted by the inimitable Hamburg producer and DJ.
The title track Multiplying My Absurdities opens the record, with a slow burn of magnetic synths and numbing acid drops. Through its simple yet thrilling dynamics, it occasionally falls into playful skepticism, creating something truly unique, uncompromised, and beautiful.
Punks in the Gym is named after an infamous climbing route in Australia. As its namesake, the track mercilessly rises to a techno summit. It gets steeper and steeper with every bar, resembling a volcanic dance where 303 earthquakes shake the ground before eruptions. Once you're halfway in, there's no turning back; all you can do is keep moving forward.
The closing track, Humanoid Fruit, transports to an even darker prehistoric landscape. Synths bursts remind of fossilized Pterodactyls revived—a challenging but rewarding trip through acidic rain and the alleys of your mind. Originally released as the soundtrack for Teslaism by artist and filmmaker Bahar Noorizadeh, a 3rd person musical racing game featuring Elon Musk and his self-driving car/lover and life coach, as they drive towards a shareholder meeting in a post-gamified Berlin landscape. It premiered at the “Tresor 31: Techno, Berlin und die große Freiheit” exhibition in 2022 and deals with stimulating skepticism about the emergence of a new era after Post-fordism that she calls Teslaism: "an upgrade to the system of production and consumption predicated on advanced storytelling, financial worldbuilding, and imagineering 'the look of the future.'" What has been once inspired by Helena Hauff's dystopian sound has now been made into an official music video for the track. Much like the video, Multiply Your Absurdities represents a journey into futuristic uncertainty.

Short Info:
"Rone & Friends" has the musical colour of Rone's friendships, of his crushes for a few additional less expected guest voices, but also inevitably of his own personality. With a strange year 2020 where borders and concert venues have closed, Rone felt the need to come closer to his artist friends and to reshuffle his creations with their voices as the new beating heart. The new collaborative album includes voices by Georgia, Yael Naim, Casper Clausen (Efterklang), Flavien Berger, Jenny Beth, Dominique A and many others.
On the surface, Rone's latest album, 'Room With A View' seemed to mark his return to solitary, contemplative instrumental electronica productions akin to his debut album 'Spanish Breakfast'. In reality, the show of the same name, which took place over a week in the prestigious Théâtre du Chatelet in Paris, is the result of a permanent collaboration with fifteen dancers of the Ballet de Marseille and the avant-garde dance collective "La Horde", which fed into all the decisions made around the album campaign. The albums' artwork is unequivocal in this regard.
The health crisis in March 2020 forced the closure of the theatre and paralysed the development of this unique show at the crossroads of disciplines, which, up until then, was met with both critical and commercial success. In the following social isolation, Rone felt the need to come closer to his artist friends and to reshuffle his creations with their voices as the new beating heart. The only good thing bound to this pandemic is that they too, deprived of touring and slowed down in the productions of their upcoming albums, found themselves available to infuse their vocal and textual energy into Rone's recent laidback productions.
This collection, entitled "Rone & Friends", has the musical colour of Rone's friendships, of his crushes for a few additional less expected guest voices, but also inevitably of his own personality. The collaborative album is based on an electronic backdrop of previously unreleased titles, alternative versions of "Room With A View" or his first feature film soundtrack "La Nuit Venue".
First of all, there's this title from his "buddy", the science-fiction author Alain Damasio, which Rone has had on his hard drive for a while: a slightly erotic pastiche to Serge Gainsbourg entitled "un". Rone unearthed a deep and pastoral version of "Human" where the voice of Efterklang singer Casper Clausen seems to take on the accents of Matt Berninger of The National.
The artist reactivated the aborted collaboration projects with his close circle and spontaneously collected a big handful of titles. To these first "Kind-hearted" reactions, came three female collaborations with the English singer and multi-instrumentalist Georgia, the Iranian Roya Arab (seminal voice of the "Londinium" of the group Archive) and a rising figure of the ambient scene, Malibu, with whom Rone had always hoped to work.
It is a kind of pressure cooker of spicy and very diverse musical personalities that gives a fresh and offbeat appeal to Rone's music. Dominique A's lyrical skills rubs shoulders with the surrealist and psychedelic poetry of Flavien Berger. The vitamin-packed pop of Georgia is followed by the ethereal contemplations of Yael Naim. Jenny Beth from Savages even turns her post-punk attitude into French desireless-ness. Nods to American rock merge with 90s trip-hop in a mix of genres that is bubbling, fun, but never disconcerting.
The visual identity of the project was created by the illustrator and cartoonist Coco (who works at Charlie Hebdo) and continues, in its own way, the work initiated by Michel Gondry on the imaginary city of Mirapolis. Rone likes to populate his imagination with talented and eccentric characters. This willingness to avoid the usual conventions and to bring together diversity will perhaps make "Rone & Friends" one of the most successful escapes from electronic production into modern pop music this year.
Vital Sales Points:
- A cast of French and international names across all the spectrum of the modern Pop music.
- A live concert including all the guest in the stage of the prestigious Chatelet Theatre in Paris and broadcasted on ARTE.TV worldwide in April.
- A successful debut Single featuring Domino Records Georgia supported by BBC6 in UK, programmed in Radio1, DRN, Flux and Fm4 in Germany and handpicked by specialist Pop and Electronic radio deejays all over the world.
- Debut single supported by Spotify (5x New Music Friday in Fr, UK, Mexico, Japan, Iceland) and Apple.
- A team of radio specialists in UK (Shake PR), in Germany (Sinnbus) and all media team in Mexico (D Music), Irascible (Switzerland)…back up by InFiné usual inhouse PR Team.
- Some French artists who have a solid fanbase worldwide like Yael Naim (Turkei, Mexico, Australia), Flavien Berger (Germany, Belgium). Odezenne (Belgium)
- Roya Arab is the seminal voice of trip hop classic album Londinium of Archive.
- Music partly based on "La Nuit Venue" OST produced by Rone nominated as best Film Music in the César award 2021 (ultimate celebration for French Film production).
- Visual identity by COCO, cartoonist for Charlie Hebdo and rare survivor of the Attack of 2015 in Paris.

ANR003
Alma Negra - Eritrea EP
The 3rd Release on Alma Negra Records is dedicated to the music of Eritrea, a small (in African terms, that is) country nestled in between Sudan and Ethopia on the south end of the Red Sea. Drawing from its native spiritual roots as well as the christian and islamic influences of conquering factions, this multiethnical country is home to an amazingly diverse plethora of cultures and musical styles.
On this EP, we are happy to showcase the music of the Saho People from the Region of Zula, which is located in between the coastal lowlands close to the Dahlak archipelago. The word "Saho" roughly translates (translated?) as "Nomad", pointing towards a lifestyle where tradition and culture is being passed on orally over generations.
The exact source for these edits of the Saho Sound are thus lost to the murky depths of history, as they are based on traditional folksongs.
With kind permission of Colophon Records, we were able to work on this great Material and are now very happy to shed some light onto the wonderful music of this region and its people!
A-Side : Alma Negra - Haleto lale lalô (Saho)
Complete with that global clarion call of partying it up, the ululate trill (google it), this is again a call & response vocal pattern, seemingly at odds with the somber backing track. Exploring a deeper, jazzier mood, we added moody piano chords and a balafon, with a subtle but big bassline and some hefty 808-thud holding everything together.
B-Side : SOL - Erytrea Nèdègé (Saho)
The B-side packs a previously unreleased edit of the band SOL. They gave us this tune two years ago and it has ignited dancefloors between Belgium and Croatia since, so we are proud to finally release this beauty to the world. A minimalist percussive belter, driven along by an eerie vocal-loop, until a male vocal introduces the main melody that eventually bursts into a full call & response chant with a female choir.
Never underestimate the power-combo of nothing but drums and vocals. No more words needed, feel for yourself.
All Samples used courtesy of Colophon Records

FREDDY FRESH - B1: Watch It Go Roun Roun [featuring Mikey Dredd]
Initial pressing will be limited to 225 copies on 7“ whitelabel vinyl. Hand-stamped with stickered cover.
File under: Drum'n'Bass / Jungle
Tracklist:
A1: 333
B1: Watch It Go Roun Roun [featuring Mikey Dredd]
Release Info:
Freddy Fresh is a legend. Period. From a plethora of 12“es on labels like Nu Groove, Drop Bass Network, Forced Nostalgia, Spaziotempo, Lone Romantic or Toolbox Killers to albums
on 90s scene mainstays like Harthouse, Anodyne or Eye Q to countless releases on his own imprints like Howlin Records, Analog Records USA and Electric Music Foundation. From
remixes for the likes of GusGus, Heaven 17, Kitachi, Steve Stoll, Frankie Bones and many more to hitting the UK Top 40 with the massive BigBeat smasher „Badder Badder Schwing“
produced alongside Fatboy Slim. The man has done it all. Nearly.
And therefore Intrauterin Recordings is proud to present the first ever Drum'n'Bass release in the more than 30 year spanning career of the one and only Freddy Fresh!
With „333“ Freddy Fresh is going down a twisted, hard stepping and yet positive alley of what the man himself refers to as Modular Drum'n'Bass that is unmistakably cooked up live
and direct in his Minneapolis-based studio. Expect a whirlwind of swirls, swooshes, bleeps and FX alongside raw junglistic beats and the most positive Synth bass motif you've heard in
a long while.
Yet the singles' main dancefloor smash is to be found on the flip side. „Watch It Go Roun Roun“ is a raw classic, a heavy original JumpUp banger driven by a killer vocal performance
by Mike Gates a.k.a. Mikey Dredd. Likely better known to many for his Techno productions on labels like Kanzleramt, Creation Rebel or Howlin Records rather than for his MC skills
this is the very first time Mikey Dredd's secret love for taking up the microphone as a proper Jungle / Drum'n'Bass MC is officially recognized and revealed on wax as a late tribute to and
honoration of a large scale talent which passed away way too soon in 2019. Lighter crew!

Tracklist 12":
A1) Strung Out (Extended Version)
A2) That Song (Extended Version)
B1) Nobody Knows (Extended Version)
B2) Everybody
Toy Tonics presents the second EP by Lars Dales from DAM SWINDLE with multi-instrumentalist LORENZ RHODE aka SOUND SUPPORT.
Their first EP "Higher" on Toy Tonic last year reached no. 1 of BEATPORT House music charts and this follow up probably will be similarly successful as it has the same high quality of music and dancefloor catchiness every DJ dreams of.
The new "Everybody Knows" EP consists of four extremely groove infected house music tracks that connect the good things of 1990ies house with the indie disco of the 2000s. Think of Daft Punk in the studio with Kerri Chandler and LCD Soundsystem and you got the sound!
Dutch house wizzard Lars Dales (who also runs HEIST records) and keyboarder and super producer Lorenz Rhode (recently worked also with Purple Disco Machine) connected through their mutual love for dance music. After years of having worked together on several projects, such as the Dam Swindle liveshow, they finally got around to making more and more music together to release their amazing tracks under the name of SOUND SUPPORT: A perfect name because these tracks really support every DJs set ... they fill dancefloors in seconds and make people go mad.

Short release info:
Berlin's own Steffen Linck, a multi-instrumentalist known as Monolink, announces his debut album Amniotic, due April 20th via Embassy of Music subsidy Embassy One.
It is the experiential nature of Monolink's music that defies the muddy definition of modern live electronic music. Armed with a singular blend of Berlin underground culture with the pop-leaning sensibility of American electronica, Steffen transports listeners into his own realm of sonic exploration. The music is pillared by emotive guitar tones, analog synth stabs and, for the first time, his own vocals - acting as a singular point of departure for this budding talent.
Amniotic stands as Monolink's first complete body of work, following his 2017 EP 'Burning Sun' via Sol Selectas, and 'The End', a collaborative record with Acid Pauli in 2015.

DJ SNEAK on Toy Tonics! Yes. It's happening. Another US legend joins the German house label. After Kai Alcé (EP on Toy Tonics in September 2023) and Joe Claussell who did an amazing remix for the label some time ago, now it's DJ Sneak. It makes sense as Toy Tonics stands for that funky mix of three main inflences: original amercian soul based house music, the italo disco heritage and the more London or Paris 1990ies wildstyle house sound. DJ Sneak reached out to the label last year giving his props and showing love for many of Toy Tonics releases and the guys immediately invited him to join the label with an EP as its also his sound that is getting so popular again with the younger dance generation. So here it is: 6 tracks (4 on the vinyl) that remind the classic, bumpin DJ Sneak sound. Full of energy and emotion. Perfect for the dance floors of today and great to introduce the maestro to the kids who love house now but never heard about the grandmasters.

2 LP - Recycled coloured vinyl.
recycled sleeve
2 sticker sheets with the artworks of each track of the album - Territory: WORLD EX France
Tohu Bohu (released in 2012) has become Rone's most cult album, with tracks like Bye Bye Macadam or Parade. InFiné decided to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the album with an anniversary edition in recycled vinyl (random colour), recycled sleeve and 2 sticker sheets with the artworks of each track of the album.
It has been a decade since electronic producer and musician Erwan Castex, known by the pseudonym Rone, released his groundbreaking and breakout second album Tohu Bohu in 2012. Created in a three-month period soon after moving from Paris to Berlin, Tohu Bohu is more a contemplative, reflective record than it is an observation of his newfound present environment. The result is a truly transcendent, transportive album that has for ten years occupied a space in the electronic music landscape that is wholly its own.
Tohu Bohu was met with a steady landslide of critical acclaim, and hailed by The Creator’s Project as "a beautiful musical artifact from an increasingly powerful musical archaeologist", “grand in scale, yet delicately intimate" by Interview Magazine, and more in Rolling Stone, Vice, XLR8R, The Fader, Tiny Mixtapes, Resident Advisor, and The Atlantic. The tenth anniversary of the album will be celebrated with a special edition vinyl reissue on InFiné, made with fully recycled materials.
In the words of Death + Taxes Magazine in 2012, "Rone is one of the shining lights of electronic music in a decade of micro-genres and artists that burst brilliantly then fade into internet obscurity", and the decade following the release of Tohu Bohu is conclusive proof of that.

A1: Alma Negra - Kabaré (Bambounou Remix)
B1: Alma Negra - Haleto lale lalô (Glenn Astro Remix)
B2: Alma Negra - Tany Be (Michal Turtle Remix)
Release Info:
Switzerland's Alma Negra are known for their deft, tasteful explorations of world roots, anchored in digging, sampling and sharing. On this brand new remix collection, Alma Negra invite a trio of equally curious producers to remix some three of their best-received musical endeavours. French producer and DJ Bambounou capitalises on the quick tempo and raw-energy at the heart of
the Maloya sound as the basis for his raw and hypnotic reimagining of ‘Kabare’, originally sourced from Christine Cabare, one of the most notable stars of the contemporary Maloya scene.
Glenn Astro, meanwhile takes on another release, ‘Haleto lale lalô’. Originally influenced by the Saho sound, the origins of which lie in the musical history and landscape of Eritrea, the Money $ex Records owner fashions two distinctive reworks out of the already adapted original material. After applying the soft pressure of his weightless, smooth funk for an initial, blissed-out remix, he switches up to a warm, percussive jack session on his ‘Rhythm Trax’ remix, available here as a digital bonus. Finally, cult producer and musician Michal Turtle, best known for his sensational LPs and compilations
on Music From Memory, delivers only his second ever remix in a forty year career, conjuring a magical slice of dreamy, percussive pop from ‘Tany Be’, awash in signature brass. More
