Culminating at 430m of altitude, mount Aïdour has been looking over the city of Oran for centuries. Legendary tales and myths are born in this place that have been inspiring writers through generations. It is there that the seeds and the roots of this record were planted, inspiring me to tell a story as well. 4 tracks about 4 destinations through a country of splendor. From North to South, East to West, from one century to another.Based on local field recordings associated with modern machines, this is the continuation of the legends started generations ago.

Bab is a member of French collectives 404 and Pardonnez Nous. He's currently making a documentary about Algerian Raï music which led him to visit the country multiple times recently and inspired him to do this dark and haunted EP, reminiscing of Muslimgauze.

When Joakim aka Cray76 moved back from NYC to Paris in 2019, he knew he wouldn't have access to a studio for a little while. And although he welcomed that forced pause in making music, he felt the need to take at least one piece of gear with him in his suitcase. It was the legendary Roland TB303, one of the simplest and quirkest synth ever made and maybe the one that had the most important influence on electronic music since the mid 80s. Having recorded a few beats on his Roland TR808 before he packed his studio in Brooklyn to be shipped back to France, Joakim decided to make a record only using those 2 machines, an « exercice de style » that is a tribute to 30 years+ of acid house and techno and a way to make tools that he could use in his DJ sets. It goes deep, it goes hypnotic, it goes rough, many flavors of acid are packed in this 808+303=1111 12inch.

Forever and a day, Antonin Leymarie has drummed in a pack – be it his collective Magnetic Ensemble, Surnaturel Orchestra, the circus of Les Colporteurs or theatre of Joël Pommerat. A long time in the waiting, this solo project as Hyperactive Leslie all started with an epiphany during a residency at La Gare back in 2018. A couple of years later and al.go.?itm has finally surfaced for air, the debut EP from this seasoned percussionist gone solo without a safety net – everything you hear on this EP is played by him with no re-recordings or additional sounds. Well, not quite solo. Scintillating through the sound recordings, mixes and production is the unmistakable flair of Joakim, the founding DJ of influential labels Tigersushi and Crowdspacer. With this symbiotic drum chant where human and technology feed on each other’s souls, without ever losing them, Hyperactive Leslie conjures an organic, cinegenic and labyrinthine trance in the spirit of Boards of Canada, Brandt Brauer Frick and Paddy Steer – all those for whom rhythms are far from robotic, but living, breathing creatures who will forever remain untamed..

404 is a young collective based in Paris of 4 very different guys making music together. Last year they released a debut mini LP on Dusseldorf label Candomble and started performing live at Concrete and other prominent venues. This is their second release ever. Dark, improvised, smokey, claustrophobic techno of the highest psychedelic grade, bringing together elements of the « slow techno » sound, industrial textures and dub.

The pioneers of slo-mo trance are back with the 4 th installment of their Back To Disco Valley series on Crowdspacer. Don't get mislead though, there's almost nothing disco about Full Circle (aka Alexis Le Tan and Joakim). Instead we're in for 15 minutes of psychedelic slow techno that became the trademark of the duo : on the harder, epic acid side of things on Alien Nation (probably the duo's biggest club edit so far) and on the trippy, tribal side on Shivering Shiva.

he Brooklyn duo of Bryce Hackford and Joakim teamed up again, this time as Joyce, 2 years after their debut as Jhack. \A two track 12” featuring a thumping and heady psychedelic deep house groove, in a classic Prescription zone, on the A-side (“Bubbles”). On the B-side, “Die Siesta” is a tribal ode to the Balearic art of napping, a moody live percussion improvisation jumping down the bpm and floating on filtered piano chords.

This is the first 12 inch from Luke Jenner’s first solo project since his infamous New York band The Rapture split up. Very often first releases are like a statement. Both sides of this 12 represent a side of what Meditation Tunnel is about : epic and melodic on Dreamsequence, psychedelic and hypnotic on Sunrise. We don't have much info to give about Vicram, partly because the artist doesn't want us to communicate the few things we know. But this is his first EP. It's super raw - not necessarily rough. Raw like a piece of sushi, an unpolished unvarnished beautiful piece of wood, raw like those bare drum machines and simple acid lines. Almost naive, like those early 90s IDM-techno record we cherish but with a very different angle. As usual, we liked Vicram because we don't really understand how he makes his music.

For his second chapter on Crowdspacer (after releases on Tigersushi, I'm A Cliché, Zone or Fragil), Crackboy, the king of French dirty analog techno, half of POV with label-boss Joakim, digs deeper into that Detroit melanchol-epic vibe with Weapons Of Steel on the A-side before going bonkers on the B-side with 2 naughty stripped-down beat-centric DJ tools for the sweaty late night crowds. Made me think of some Gemini tracks when I first heard it (that's a compliment).
