D.A.N.C.E. (Detector for Advanced Neutron Capture Experiments), the various artists series of the label, comes back with the italians Ness, Luigi Tozzi and the french Underjack. On the a-side with -TMB- Ness turns a robotic rhythm in a dark electric / industrial infected tunnel. LuigiTozzi s a2 Blood Meridian strikes soft under an oppressive butterfly effect creating an intense flow. Underjack on the b-side delivers a nebulous groove that is responsible of a eight minutes of immense hypnotic techno cut with energy drums and crispy bassline.

After his memorable ‘Wolves’ EP of last year (which garnered great support and earned record of the week on B.Traits BBC Radio 1 show) Florian Busse returns to connected for his new release ‘Heus’ EP on vinyl and digital,retaining and developing his idiosyncratic sound sculpting, Florian has delivered another unique take for the dancefloor.
1. ‘Heus’ A hypnotic tom and bass groove, heavy on atmosphere and noise, foreign and far away synthesizers and a deceptive bass note, the melody starting slow with a repetative phrase, then telling its whole melancholic, wistful, but powerful story before an arpeggio in the main break brings things to an end and delivering a powerful moment in the club when the beat comes back. Memories of summer. 2. ‘Intro’. As the track name says, the long intro is the ‘featured’ part of the track, a good starter for any dj-set where people do not leave the dancefloor if the beat hasn't kicked in after the first 10 seconds. Child like voices, steady synthesizer note coming and going and a low bass create an intense first 3mins before the beats kicks in for the first time continuing with a pretty minimal beat before the elements of the intro come back and voices replace the synth line. 3. ‘’Guem’. A steady bass note and a waylaying, moody synthesizer theme ,tastefully selected drums, heavy beat and percussion ,joined by weird bird like sounds place you into a wood where the sun has already set.

After the creation of COMPUTER DISCO LP (1982), Marcello Giombini produces the year after I ADORE COMMODORE – COMPUTER MUSIC FLASH, which was mainly made with a Commodore 64. Giombini was a veteran of music applications with personal computer, started with an Apple II Europlus and then converted to the Commodore 64 thanks to the presence of 3 independent music generators that allowed him to make more elaborate music easier.

The record was inspired by the VideoGames of the time, so that the titles of the 10 tracks are inspired by the names of famous games. The music was created using four to eleven Commodore 64 programmed and synchronized with an external audio interface.

At the time, Giombini, in his studio in a basement just a few steps from Nomentana, Rome, had organized a small school with courses of basic and computer music.

The graphic is the same of original LP with inner-sleeve dedicated to Commodore 64.

During the mid-80s and early 90s Movin’ Records defined the New Jersey sound. A skate-shop-turned-record-store run by the so-called “fairy godmother of house” Abigail Adams, Movin’s first output was ‘I’ve Got The Music’ by Boyd Jarvis in 1987, followed by music from game changers Blaze, Kerri Chandler, Tony Humphries and Smack; straight up “Jersey jams” that producers are still attempting to replicate to this day. Still the Movin’ Records catalogue throws up gems that sound super fresh along with plenty of lightbulb moments of musical discovery. After becoming a surprise hit from the B-side of Kamar’s ‘In Every Way’, Movin’ Records presents this remix single to give dancefloors a serious shake-up. Kerri produces some heavyweight remixes of this single, along with regular collaborator Yahya McDougald. As with all of Kerri’s early productions, this sits proud alongside his latest, more mature output thanks to his naturally instinctive style. The single features vocals from Calvin Reed Sr., Kerri Chandlers actual Grampa!

All this comes after years of Richy headlining all over the world and working with labels like Hot Creations and Crosstown Rebels. Now really into his stride as a producer, his latest is sure to rock ‘floors worldwide. Up first is the big and bombastic ‘Kimalaya’ with its tribal tinged and jumbled beats and big woodblock hits. Wordless chants also join the groove, and the looseness of the whole thing is what will ensure it really gets the dancefloor going. Add in diving bass notes and some clever breakdowns and you have a sure-fire recipe for success. Just as infectious is ‘Come With Us’, a more nimble and peak time tune with lively synths darting and jumping about above techno leaning drums. It’s a freaky cut with inventive synth patterns that really get under your skin as it rumbles on.
With these latest tracks Richy Ahmed once again offers up some truly fresh house perspectives.

The fourth release from Gardens of God’s imprint Sodai is the Barcelona based, Egyptian DJ and producer Raxon with his ?Detla EP?. A trend-setter, the former-architect exhibits a cogent production style making him an fitting addition to the label. A special track for Raxon, “?Detla was created en route to Cape Town for a big festival. I thought I would need to make some changes after the show, as is often the case, but the track worked, so I left it exactly as it is in its first original arrangement?. ?Which any producer will know is rare?”. The EP kicks off with an enticing intro, growing layer by layer with a detailed arrangement of ethereal synths and minimalistic percussion. A full breakdown mid-track leaves you craving more, before the final drop in all it’s stomping glory. On the flipside, ?Jungle Express ?features a hastier intro and a balearic-inspired drum pattern. A siren hooks you in as it drops into a bass-ridden techno roller. Raxon ?has ?received critical acclaim east of the Mediterranean, boasting Best Dubai DJ in 2013/14 by Time Out Dubai. Developing and collaborating, Raxon has continued to develop his career working with imprints and artists including Ellum and Diynamic. Catching the eye of tastemaker John Digweed, Raxon has featured as a special guest on his Transitions radio show twice cementing his place in the Techno scene.
