The Swedish label is back with a three tracker Valvet studio’s production, featuring Per Hammar’s
sound of dusty dub house. Dixie’s Dubb is a straight forward and warm cut with a good amount of
chamber-sounding ingredients. Argy’s take on the track is a timeless piece of dubby, stripped and
sparkling techno. Just as obvious as it is venturous.
As the last track on the flip, we find Severnaja, that takes us on a mission over an icy surface. The
travelling bassline and overheated drums in symbiosis with the melody brings the listener to
uninhabited places.

Straight after his contribution to the splendid Delusions of Grandeur compilation and collaboration with Sebastien Vorhaus aka “Soul of Hex” as well as his latest EP's on the Russian “Capital Bass” label and "Swedish Brandy" Ponty Mython is back with a full swung EP packed with cosmic deep house tunes.
“How To Get Your Life Together And Succeed” sets the pace for the record, bringing together a kaleidoscope of sounds in Ponty Mython’s signature style, soul meets dance floor punch. “Changes We Go Through” oozes hip shaking appeal, a deep and sleazy bass line leads the charge on this bumping house track. “Watch Over Him” slows things down a touch with live funk and jazz licks conjuring images of session musicians jamming in a smokey club, urging you to get down.
On the top of the B-side, we have man of the moment Red Rack’em who delivers a wonderfully “Wonky” house remix in his very unique style, casually combining elements from three of the originals. Next up we have “Love Is Not A Thing”, another body moving sultry deep house offering, dripping with soul, as easy vocals ramble over lazy keys and lively percussion. Finally, easing us to the end of our outing in the sonic stratosphere is “Lopp 17”, back in the funk realm, with some tropical percussion thrown in and a steady grooving bottom end to keep heads
nodding right to the last moment. All in all one of the most exciting and Musical records we have ever released .. and with 3 tracks per side this is somehow more a mini Album than EP .

We live a life in between exorcism and consumption; stirring up a piece of sh-which might be the forgotten, -the unexpected, -the unusual, -the left behind.
Dust as a Metaphor for our repetitive culture, can`t be better chosen to head the "Redust" EP on FormResonance.
Grainy and with a sixth sense of its pulse, the tracks do emerge into a wide soundstream. Dust hereby transports a piece of wisdom: the sound signature. Knowledge which is inherent in class-a circuits, vinyl, or tape and which can be barely "re"produced.

Georg Stuby is already a DJ on stage; like Burning Man, Club der Visionäre... Portable is Alan Abrahams, a South African born artist and producer who is also a celebrated live act. Emerging more than fifteen years ago with a sound that marries real electronic soul with deep moods and abstract grooves, he is someone who has released his minimal wares on cult labels like Perlon and Live At Robert Johnson, as well as his own Süd Electronic. Always experimenting with rhythm and imbuing his music with a wide world of influences, this latest work that proves that once more.
Portable's music reached a new level of exposure when the 2014 track "Surrender" received a "Best New Track" designation from Pitchfork, and appeared in re-edited form on DJ Koze's critically acclaimed DJ-Kicks mix (named the #1 mix of 2015 by Resident Advisor). Portable signed to !K7, and is to release his sixth full length artist album through the label in August 2016. The 11 track affair is his most personal yet, and as such is a self-titled work that features plenty of his own vocal work, as well as some choice collaborations.
The first 12" single sees Deetron and Bodycode deliver remixes alongside exclusive track 'Balanese Nights' that doesn't feature on the full length album.

Kid Flicks is the music project started by greek producer and songwriter Nickos Devisis. Highly in?uenced by the bright side of contemporary athenian life, multiculturalism and the internet culture, Kid Flicks created a unique sound which draws from various genres and styles. From electronic to sample-based music to psych pop to world music, the album full of upbeat pop melodies, explosive percussion and greek, middle eastern and african music references.
Kid Flicks' third album "Kid Flicks" and first with an updated 3-piece line up, will be released by Klik Records in Greece and wordandsound in the rest of Europe on late June.
On December 2015 they showcased at Glimps Festival in Belgium and their creative process and involvement in the athenian music scene were one of the subjects of CBC Arts documentary series "Interrupt This Program".
They currently work with Brooklyn-based PR agency Drunken Piano (Carpark, Yep Roc) and booker JJ Pallis (Boogarins).

Eddie Ness and Liem join forces once more to bring you LHLT007. The "Hardcore Will Never Dry"-EP has the two producers embarking on a journey into deep machine funk and swelling subterranean soundscapes, mass tailored for sweaty clubs. All produced in their shared hardware-heaven of a studio the tracks are full of intriguing rough edges and charming imperfections, equipping the tracks with a deep textured and evolving character.
Opener "Holy Grail" guides us into a groove vacuum: Pairing swirling ping-pong-delays with sharp-edged airy hi-hat's and a sturdy pad, it sets the tone of the EP: Hazy blips and lazy Grooves! Suddenly echoed stabs pop up out of nowhere while trippy delay's dislocate all other sounds. Just as you think everything is falling apart "Holy Grail" catches itself: It joyrides the thin line between straight balance and stumbling off-beats in the groove vacuum.
"JRP" seduces us to go even deeper into the groove vacuum. While heavy tribal shakers and drums locate us in the heart of a sizzling tropical jungle, merciless bass stabs and swift noise burst take us back to outer space. "JRP" is both gravity and anti-gravity. Always building up tension and teasing, yet never offering closure and cheap satisfaction to it's captivated listeners, "JPR" is a amazing club track for entranced after-hour crowds.
Closing track "Kevintin Melbourne Shuffle" is what you hoped Melbourne Shuffle would sound like when you first heard the name: Backed by lustfully popping bubble sounds, it's highly infectious shuffle groove steals the show, while sweet filtered steel drums melodies echo from a distant plant, reminiscing the tropical vibes of their collaborations on LHLT002. "Kevintin" is a soft lullaby rounding up this infectious collection of hardware driven tracks. One for the groove, one for the club and one for the chill!

Detroit enigma Sharif Laffrey makes a return to Paramida's Berlin-based Love On The Rocks imprint with ‘Pony EP’. The two track EP marks his second release with the label (following ‘Key Jam (A.C.I.D.)’) and his third release in three years - something of a roll for Laffrey who typically allows years to pass between each outing.

A-Side: ‘PONY J.A.M.’
Over 9 minutes of what sounds like nineties 4/4 Indian acid-house bass music - in the best way. Surprising vocals & a healthy 3 minute lead in.
B-Side: ‘PONY ROGER’
If the pony you were riding on the A-Side was galloping through a grassy meadow - this pony heads into a dark cave. If the A-side is The Never Ending Story then the B-side is The Dark
Crystal. But with Prince instead of Bowie. Sharif Laffrey has been playing records and making music for 20 long hard years. Born in Detroit, Michigan - he’s worked on the line checking camshafts for Chryslers & at Submerge for Mike Banks - at the same time. He toured Asia with Juan Atkins and once had to chase a grown man through the streets at night, who had crawled into his living room through an open window.
An active member in Detroit’s early rave scene, Sharif remembers booking all foreign gigs with something he calls a fax machine.

Berlin-based Marlon Hoffstadt drops 'Coach Mike', the fourth EP on his own Retrograde imprint, featuring remixes from Massimiliano Pagliara and The Friend and following a hat trick of successful releases.

The four-track EP is the sophomore release from Hoffstadt on his burgeoning label, which he co-founded with Natureboy Gold and Matteo Luis in August 2015. Previously featuring the likes of Kris Wadsworth and Tuff City Kids, Retrograde provides a platform for the artists to explore music alongside other forms of expression such as art, particularly surrealism. The vinyl sleeve artwork from the first four releases, when fitted together, completes the painting 'Interaction' by surrealist Hermann Reimer.

With previous releases on FFRR and Play It Down, Hoffstadt boasts a sound that is both innovative yet authentic, and 'Coach Mike' displays the sonic alchemy that the talented producer, aged only 22, has already become known for.

The title track starts as a grooving acid-based cut peppered with percussion before building up suspense to a surprising yet satisfying breakdown. This is his first release without vocals, allowing him to focus entirely on creating pure soundscape.

Panorama Bar resident and Live at Robert Johnson mainstay Massimiliano Pagliara's rework of the A side is a Balearic-tinged affair; starting with a solid drum and building to a crescendo of bass, pads and synths, along with the analog synth elements for which he's known. This is an undeniable summer anthem that will captivate dancefloors across the world.

'Broncos' is a club track created for the floor. An acid bassline sits alongside industrial elements and stabbing synths. On remix duty is The Friend. As part of the mysterious F.A.M.E Crew and co-founder of How to Kill Detroit, his interpretation is down-tempo techno distortion at its best.
With a consistently strong output, both for the eye and the ear, the Retrograde imprint grows from strength to strength, and 'Coach Mike' is sure to be a hit with DJs and clubbers alike.
