Embark on a sonic odyssey with Foreign Material's latest release on Navigare Audio. Drawing inspiration from the all-encompassing influence of Saturnus, the god of time, transcendence and agriculture. Martins musical universe is both explorative and traditional, taking listeners on unexpected paths while maintaining an innocent and joyful sense of discovery. You can never really expect where he will take you with his new release, you get the sense that he's carving out the path as he's walking. On the B-side, we find none other than brother Toffe, the master of suspense - dubbing it out with a reshape of the title track "Saturnian Dub" in an homage to the deity of the golden age of abundance and peace.

Navigating between time and space, label head Foreign Material continues his historical journey with The Quest , a piece inspired by medieval legends.
Of Faith and Glory leads the way, an epic track which carries the knights' fervor and devotion through strong rhythmics and mystical eerie pads. American maestro Eric Cloutier provides a deep reverberating rework which brings us far underwater.
Of Flesh and Duty dives deeper into medieval madness with fierce rolling toms and hypnotic acid line. The track takes us along knights venturing deep into mysterious woods, accompanied by devastating celestial choirs into a glorious and deadly final. Deep techno craftsman A Sacred Geometry shares his vision with a strong remix that goes into battle frenzy with a powerful and mesmerizing reinterpretation.
At last, Of Fire and Fate (Digital Only Track) releases the rising tension and gives a relief after the storm with broken beats and shamanic vibes. This heroic conclusion underlines the impossibility of a far yet necessary goal leading only to death.

Since making their debut on the imprint in 2013 with 'Blue Aconite', the Italian duo Hiver has since released two more EPs on Curle. I got to know Gavin Russom's music thanks to the amazing 'The Days Of Mars' album he recorded together with Delia Gonzalez now ten years ago on DFA Records. Flash forward to last year, when we released Michele Mininni's trippy 'Endless Ceremony'. Gavin Russom loved that one and sent over a demo shortly after - you're listening to it now. Talbot Wood is a young producer from Antwerp, Belgium. He was featured on a Various Artists EP on Other Heights earlier this year, but this is his debut EP. 'Analepsis', a funky dub techno track, is definitely the bomb on this one. 'Dream Sequence' is a lot deeper, but his good friend Locked Groove (Hotflush Recordings) turned it into a stomper too. Sure shots for the floor these! More
