After 7 years of chart topping hits covering an array of genres, Pleasurekraft have announced the release of their debut album "Friends, Lovers, & Other Constellations" set for release on 23rd February. Whether treading into electronica with the album's existential bookends; "Interiors" and "Last Transmission", or flexing big-room techno muscles on "The Day the Earth Stood Still" & "Rigel", there is an indelible fingerprint throughout the 11 tracks that merits continuous listens to reveal its multi-layer depth. Filled with cinematic and cosmological references throughout, what makes "Friends, Lovers, & Other Constellations" truly unique is that it is not merely music for a clubbing experience, but something more, something akin to a musical mission statement; To prove that there is more to dance music than just a 4/4 beat, cliche drug references, and party themed vocals. Kraftek is very proud to present a special edition limited vinyl pressing featuring 2 brand new remixes from label heads Pleasurekraft. On the a-side, THE track that first put Pleasurekraft on the map and now revered as one of the all-time classics of tech house, “Tarantula”. After several initial vinyl pressings all of which sold out when it first came out in 2010- this marks the first time the track is available on vinyl again. However, the real jewel in the crown here is the boys new techno take on their original. Darker, harder, and meaner, the ‘7 Year Itch Rework’ marks the 7 year anniversary of the track and showcases the musical evolution of the duo as they have gone from strength to strength, having embraced a much tougher techno sound which has brought them the enthusiastic support of icons like Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, Kolsch & more. On the flip side, American techno producer Charles Duff aka Matrixxman has seen a meteoric rise in just a few short years. From the early Crosstown Rebels days to Matthew Dear’s Spectral to now being a cornerstone of the Dekmantel family, here he gets his track "The Spell" a steroid injected remix from Pleasurekraft. While the beautiful ethereal hook of the original remains intact, the drums and new supporting synth lines make for a behemoth of a canvas for the lead to shine on.

Pleasurekraft's labor of love imprint Kraftek have announced the first instalment of their vinyl series due out on October 9th. For this inaugural release - Kraftek has nabbed 2 of its favorite producers- Re.You taking on Pleasurekraft & Tiger Stripes' "Primed" - while fellow Berliner David Mayer of Keinemusik revamps Matrixxman's "The Sigil". Re.you takes the pulsating groove and abstract bass of label boss Pleasurekraft and Tiger Stripes’ collaboration and strips it right back, slowing the pace and turning ‘Primed’ into a slow burning and eerily atmospheric track. David Mayer completes the offering with his remix of Matrixxman’s ‘The Sigil’. Rhythmic groove and tight percussion give way to a melodic homage nodding to the original's signature hallmark. But it's Mayer's emotional pad swells that build the intensity of the remix to another level - making his rendition truly something special.
