As one of the pioneers of the signature Hospital Records sound Logistics already has an impressive succession of albums, EPs, collaborations and remixes in his repertoire. Fortunately for us he's adding one more to the list with his incredible sixth studio album, 'Electric Sun' filled with jungle flavoured rollers, garage-inspired chop-ups, down tempo head-nodders, swirling synths and merciless subs.
* Settle inside paradise with 'Icarus' - featuring fellow Cambridge connoisseur Hugh Hardie - along with 'After Dark' they provide a warm, anthemic wash throughout the LP that contrasts with the equally ethereal yet hypnotic slow dance of 'Still Life', featuring Holly Drummond. The refined style in 'Tell Me True' proves simplicity really is key; rippling piano and gentle guitar plucks come together to create a first-class future classic.
* Switch the tempo! Logistics takes a different direction with 'Fight 4 U' and 'Deep Breath' relaxing the rhythms with strong subs and choppy, pitched vocals aplenty. Closing the LP is a collaboration with rising vocalist Zara Kershaw, whose soulful and sophisticated sound perfectly compliments Logistics' style in 'Finish Line'. He's also succeeded in syncing vocalists Sherry Davis, McLean and Stella Attar with his melodic, liquid D+B vibrations in 'Cold Light of Day', 'Lost In U' and 'Take Me to Another World'.
Tracklist CD;
01. Logistics "Cold Light Of Day" (feat. Sherry Davis) 02. Logistics "Icarus" (feat. Hugh Hardie)
03. Logistics "Lost In U" (feat. McLean) 04. Logistics "Fight 4 U" 05. Logistics "Take Me To Another World" (feat. Stella Attar) 06. Logistics "Sentimentality" 07. Logistics "Tell Me True" 08. Following a string of successful releases Krakota is back with a massive 14-track collection. 'Strange System' marries heavy distortion with razor-sharp clarity, crossing and colouring the black and white lines of drum & bass with his versatile style and slick production. His debut album stands tall and proud shouting his individual sound. Never underestimate Krakota, he's full of surprises!
In 'Colour Of The Past' Krakota simultaneously tugs at the heartstrings and hits hard in the face with vocals brought by new finding Karina Ramage. The French-Scottish-English songwriter was a surprise find by label boss Chris Goss as he discovered her busking on London's South Bank. Another clear highlight is his partnering with our second label boss for 'Powder Coated' - the perfect mix of London Elektricity soul and Krakota power.
'Half Life' is a reminder back to the massive dancefloor damage caused by 'Ice Hands', 'Ghosts' and 'Xylo' last year. Its gritty split of siren calls and deep bouncing bass hits in all the right places. Krakota's musical edge shows in 'Elastic' with funk flare and horns hailing. 'North Winds' and 'Turn of Fate' blend arcade style synth work with crackles of white noise.
A consistently brilliant producer, Krakota's carved out his own style over the past few years getting his name noticed on dancefloors around the UK and Europe. He's received support from the likes of BBC Radio 1's Friction and well remembered for his tear out live mix on BBC Radio 1Xtra's Soundclash in 2015. His solitary stance in the drum & bass world has been making waves and that's sure to continue with his outstanding debut album 'Strange System'.
CD: 1. North Winds 2. Colour The Past 3. Samphire 4. Xylo 5. Turn Of Fate 6. Powder Coated (feat. London Elektricity) 7. Half Life 8. In The Area (feat. Lifford) 9. Elastic 10. Carmine 11. Meridian 12. Weirdos & Creepers (feat. Illaman) 13. Krakota 'End Of The Line' (feat. Benji Clements) 14. Sea Air

His LP premiere pushes positivity with a wash of vocal lead tracks. The lively, feel-good vibrations of 'Just Be Good' (featuring Nymfo) and 'One Last Picture' (featuring Kye Sones) fit with the frenzy of animated elevations in 'Got Me Thinking' (featuring Veela) and 'Nothing More'.
* He continues to liberate the senses with the shimmering sounds of 'One Way' and drives forward with warm guitar strums on standout track 'The End' (featuring Voicians). The 'Never Give Up' LP also includes his previously popular single 'Not Alone' and Logistics collaboration 'Solarize'.
As a co-founder of YouTube phenomenon turned record label Liquicity and with 'Best Newcomer DJ' and 'Best Newcomer Producer' awards under his belt Maduk has played a huge part in igniting the fire for a growing movement of liquid drum & bass lover.
Tracklist CD;
01. Logistics "Cold Light Of Day" (feat. Sherry Davis) 02. Logistics "Icarus" (feat. Hugh Hardie)
03. Logistics "Lost In U" (feat. McLean) 04. Logistics "Fight 4 U" 05. Logistics "Take Me To Another World" (feat. Stella Attar) 06. Logistics "Sentimentality" 07. Logistics "Tell Me True" 08. Logistics "Electric Sun" (feat. Sherry Davis) 09. Logistics "Deep Breath" 10. Logistics "Okinawa" 11. Logistics "After Dark" 12. Logistics "Highway 1" 13. Logistics "Still Life" (feat. Holly Drummond) 14. Logistics "Finish Line" (feat. Zara Kershaw)
