Thanks England x The cairn referred to almost certainly dates back to the bronze age, and the name Carneddau, refers to the many prehistoric burial cairns found high up in the nippi peaks.

Gelert takes a short journey from Nant Peris up to the peak that is Elidir Fawr. We don’t know a great deal about Elidir but Elidir was a giant of a man. The 4th highest peak of the 3000’s is set at 3029ft (923m) - 3000.4 delivers more nippiness with Luv*Jam inviting tropical heat master Damian Schwartz, and new nipster Jack Beavers to the team.
