M.ono & Luvless join forces for the seventh release on Leipzig's much loved Rose Records the pair runs and curates alongside Martin Hayes & L.Sluter. The duo impressed a few years ago with sought-after joint productions on upmarket labels like O*RS and Kolour LTD and now steps up to the plate with a pair of pitch-perfect burners for their own imprint for the label's first 10" release. Synth lines set the mood on the A with the delectable Double You. Crisp drums set the pace, carefully arranged percussive elements, a teasing vocal and a monumental breakdown take care of the rest. On the flipside we have Happy Chap. A quintessential Rose fare with its tight drums, vocal snips and the sort of deadly piano work that is such a staple in M.ono and Luvless' productions.
