Taking a walk on the modern side of Grime Street, La Vie C’est Facile crosses over and fuses different styles with electro, instrumental hip-hop, bass music, techno and jungle into a brooding masterpiece of disjointed and distorted beats.
Coming with a 5-track EP, the DJ/producer duo of La Vie C’est Facile drapes a futuristic industrial atmosphere within their music, taking plenty of the elements of Grime and pushing those boundaries to bring something that defies categorization, all through their own inspirit filter. Their composition approach sounds like streetwise music for the year 3000, creating a hugely interesting and singular piece of work.
The ironically titled Fun Zone EP starts with ‘Racer Z’ which drops metallic and ghetto ambiences, breathing in an anxious and claustrophobic spirit with a wooden, chunky bass —the result is a contemporary hard-edged feeling of the Biel/Bienne lifestyle. ‘Casino’ elevates the mood with a graceful twinkling melody, gently melded with grimey beat patterns and snapping claps and snares on a heavy sub bass. On the flip side, ‘Adrenaline’ pushes its way across terror and horror soundscapes all with a menacing bass prowl, while ‘White Cobra’ injects twisted experimental sounds on incredible beats. ‘Europium’ finishes the EP, mixing asian and cold melodies with criss-crossing drums deservedly head-pleasing and emotionally stirring. With Fun Zone EP,
La Vie C’est Facile showcases a forward-thinking and fearless debut! More

Inuit Pagoda - Boika (Arthur Hnatek Remix)
From the inspiration of Biel/Bienne musician Emilio Vidal, Inuit Pagoda offer an intense and versatile soundscape that is sometimes delectable, sometimes impetuous. A melting pot of cultures, the Swiss band develop an intuitive music that flirts with genres and emotions. With Backflows, their debut 4-track EP on Creaked, Inuit Pagoda weld live instrumentation to atmospheric experimentations for output that could be described as both warm krautrock and ionized jazz.
Composed in collaboration with Nikola Jan Gross (sax) and Jonas Albrecht (drums), this EP includes three sweeping, energetic tracks that take you on a journey through jazz, post-rock, trance, minimalism, sinking horns chords and throbbing guitar lines —all infused with a contemporary touch and an intellect that pushes things as far as possible to the edge. The closing track brings a more dance-oriented rework of ‘Boíka’ by prolific drummer Arthur Hnatek with a blend of rhythmic gimmickry showcasing his love of modern electronic styles —from warehouse techno and melodic house to warm glitch in equal parts.
Backflows is a promising first look at a conceptual band who constantly work to keep up with emerging artistic forms. More

File under :Electronic/Pop - Limited 12", full artwork release - A1. Sexy Front A2. Sexy Front (Larytta Remix) B1. Bota Mao Pra Encima featuring Junior B2. Bota Mão Pra Encima (Larytta Remix)
The latest release from the Swiss duo Larytta, entitled Jura Libre, is a chunky, massive, intelligent, colorful (in that full on tropical way) four-song collection of club bangers. To be exact the full set actually consists of two original songs with an in-house Larytta remix a piece. The originals lean on pronounced inflections of playful, tricky, afro-tropical rhythms, while the reworks go for a more direct four-to-the-floor approach -straight for the jugular.
Apart from the vibrant, tight production what unifies all of these tracks is a head nod towards that nineties club sound, especially that golden age acid rave material. This is music made not only by great producers, but heads that really know and love clubbing culture and history and know how to tastefully reference the past. The EP closes with "Bota Mao Pra Encima" which features Brazilian emcee Junior, and that's the point at which you start to question if this EP was truly cut in Switzerland.

File under :Electronic/Techno - Limited 12", full artwork release - Tracklist A1. Thot B1. Canines
It's not easy to create something that sounds epic and yet doesn't veer off into cliché-riddled pathos, which is why the latest release from Gaspard de La Montagne hits so hard. It's perfect. From the first bars of the intro track "Thot" you feel like you're being pulled under by a powerful current -you're going deep. And you'll only surface once the outro track, "Canines", comes to a full stop. You could technically call this Techno, but that would diminish Gaspard de La Montagne's unique take on the idiom.
What's unique about this EP is that these songs are amalgams of noise, noise that is extremely beautiful in sum total. This is sonic alchemy at work: the ability to turn harsh, jarring sounds into something mesmeric, breathtaking (almost quite literally). These songs are like Ad Reinhardt black on black paintings. At first they appear to be airtight, solid, impenetrable. But the longer you listen to them the more details they reveal, and in the end you find yourself in a vast universe. This is the third EP from Gaspard de La Montagne and we're quite certain that it'll find its way into late night / early morning sets of that breed of DJs who love their sound deep; but it's also just as gratifying as a headphone-listening experience.

With Grace Core’s luminously warm debut EP, KRSNA, the artist has offer up a hi-energy provocative style blended with possessed chanting, modern pop, post-rave and hypnotic trance. These elements have come together to occupy a remarkably weird place all its own.
Taking cues and hint from pop-inspired releases, KRSNA slowly progresses from atmospheric and dreamy uplifting melodies to increased tempos with powerful, lilting synths and addictive, pounding and relentless drum kicks. It showcases a deconstructed panoramic set of tracks that shimmer with confidence and wonder created by the unique inner logic of Grace Core’s sound world. Finally entering brainspaces this Fall, the result is a records that sounds both focused and coherent, flowing with a conceptual ease that leaves the listener completely fulfilled and open-jawed. 01 Something Good 02 Osama Obama 03 Revolution 10 04 Baby Come Back 05 Love Love Banana 06 Jura 07 Broken Leg Theory 08 Mi Vida 09 All I Do 10 Les Bambous 11 Medication
Jura, the sophomore full-length from the Swiss duo Larytta, is a galvanizing synthesis of essential grooves and effervescent melodies. It took years to finish the record!
Christian Pahud and Guy Meldem spent this time carefully calibrating their songwriting to achieve what could be called the golden mean, i.e. the perfect balance between a radio friendly sound and club functionality. The result is a collection of songs that are instantly accessible, yet wholly unpredictable. They feel familiar because they were crafted by seasoned musicians who, over the years, have mastered the science of fundamental swing and melody.
The album is full of clever and tasteful references: Africa, the Middle East, the dusty Western 70s and "the white lines" 80s, all shine through at different points of this sonic journey. The production is chunky, juicy, warm and analog. The lyrics are witty and even sometimes downright funny. The song titles testify to this fact: Osama Obama, Love Love Banana, Broken Leg Theory, Les Bambous - come on! Without a doubt, Jura is a beautifully idiosyncratic world, complete and stand-alone.

Tracklist A1. Stride A2. Raze B1. Uphold B2. Induce
Info:
With the Stride 12", Isolated Lines lays down another thick slab of contemporary and modern dance music. Swiss producer plays with the rhythmic dynamics of techno, striking a balance between avant-garde and accessible. Building cycles of beats at a constant speed and embracing difficult musical concepts. Tracks like Stride and Raze are built for big rooms with a fascination for the darker end of techno, pushing the lower end to the front and creating cold, tense atmospheres.
On the flipside, Uphold offers a lighter, inviting touch, while the last track of the EP Induce, sounds like techno eroded by time. It's at this point that Isolated Lines' music is neither fast nor slow, permanently tense, creating a sickly expectation influenced by old industrial and purely analog synth music. For his second release on the label, the Stride EP is, for Isolated Lines, more restrained, even as its low-end bursts through clouds of distorted static. This is techno at its very darkest.

Tracklist A1 ALPES A2 DROPS B1 PÔLE
Creaked Records is proud to present Pôle EP - the ambitious, moody, low end laden debut of Swiss native Gaspard de La Montagne.
From the beginning to the end it's clear that this three track EP was tastefully put together by a passionate Bass music lover to touch others of a similar inclination. The release seamlessly fuses Minimal artifacts with a Post-Step swing, with layers of organic texture, and a pinch of introspective Soul - and tops it all off with arrangements that thrive on euphoric build ups of Techno at its most effective. Although Pôle EP was undoubtedly made with healthy sound systems and packed dancefloors in mind - as the strong and relentless grooves of both Alpes and Pôle will testify - Drops, which features the sultry voice of Nathan Baumann of the band The Fawn, also leans into what could easily be classified modern Pop, and will definitely make for great late night headphone listening. Pôle EP represents a new breed of electronic music, that which treats its listeners the way holistic doctors treat their patients - by paying attention to and taking care of their whole being: mind, body, and soul.

This very limited 7" marks the collaboration between two young talents, Glasgow-based producer Dam Mantle and Swiss Alps electronic artist Cédric Streuli's project Buvette, now relocated to Mexico City. The artists' latest joint effort, following 2010's Swiss gigs, is reaching out to ambitious and exciting new musical directions. A collage of electronica, traditional sentiment, dance and dislocated beats. Dam Mantle's 'Kinship Dub' begins with rolling drums making its way through anxious and trancey atmospheres. Tight compressed layers of rhythm twist around soaring melodies, vocal cuts and flute bringing it all to a peaceful finish. Music for soundtracks of the future.
Flipside, Buvette turns 'Song For Tanzman' into a latenight bedroom dance party. Keeping his pop touch firmly intact, Buvette delivers a techno beat, catchy hook-up bassline and sunny melodies, pushing 'Song For Tanzman' skywards with its magnificent synth raptures.
Only available on vinyl, this 7" limited to 300 copies is highly recommended!
