Eleve welcomes Leonid into the family with Otherworld EP. The Madrid-based Irish producer has deployed during the last years some of the finest records of the house panorama, for labels such as Sistrum, Dolly or more recently Freebeat. This record fits perfectly in the Red Series started in Eleve 02 by DJ F and Jose Rico, with the focus on the dancefloor. Leonid brings a three-track EP whose amazing sound and percussion, trademark basslines and detroitish leads and pads promise to transport many dancers to other worlds. A side starts with Xana, an esoteric house excursion with a mechanical edge. Next track is Púca, in the spirit of his deepest previous work with a characteristic syncopated bassline. B side long track is Embarr, an adventurous imagination trip across the sea; classic Leonid elements such relentless percussion and heavy bassline meets acid elements to create a one-way ticket to universal sub-conscience.

Following up his well-received works for Statik Entertainment, Dublin's Leonid proudly lands at Sistrum with three new tracks, crafted in his signature style of mature, classic depth. On the first track "Sadim" a gorgeous bassline leads the way into gentle percussion and warm strings, as slightly acidic synth stabs take you back to the simpler days of dance. Honest, unpretentious and deep. Classic vibrations abound on the following cut "potsandpans". The bassline sets the tone as sonic layers slowly build into a timeless groove that could easily go on forever. A beauty, by any standard. The Ep closes with "shortwave", a low-slung, shuffling groove, "Shortwave" bumps along with the help of a round analog bassline and sharp claps, as shimmering chords swirl hypnotically. This one is destined to define many a late-night dancefloor moment.

Jose Rico and Dj F are responsible for the second release of Eleve label, two of the heads of the madrilian emergent scene of producers. The synths and sequences of "5 minute before" and "La verdad" show that Dj F is partial to Detroit's flavours, specially Robert Hood, among many others. For the last track, "Out of the energy", he builds together with Jose Rico a gem of atmospheric analogue house with claps that remind to Chicago. A productive collaboration that has just started off with this release along with Freebeat 02 .

Black series is the first EP on the Eleve label, formed by several underground collectives based in Madrid (Including people from Downbeat and Area 51 labels), and focuses to on the deeper experimental side of Techno Dub. 'Lars Pellarin, owner of Statler & Waldorf, is the luxury guest to start to run out the project and essential name to understand the background of the label. A-side is for him, with a 4x4 abstract ambient piece with repetitive echoed and hypnotic sequences. On the B-side, Sowing Paranoia (heads of Area 51) offer us Echoing Garden. A Technodub track that takes influences of Chain Reaction, Echospace and Quantec but sounding like Sowing Paranoia. Jorge Bule closes the release with MJ, moving between ambient, technodub or experimental electronic sonorities; and giving us a sample of his great talent'.
