Dapayk Solo, Berlin based producer and veteran of the minimal techno scene, announces the release of his 10th studio album "The Calling". This latest project will be the producer's first solo album since 2015. The 8-track double 12inch LP will be available via Dapayk Solo's label Mo's Ferry Productions and comes with a free download voucher for the extended 12-track digital album.

The first track on this LP "The Calling" shares its name with the album and starts off with a pang of energetic, chopped beats before exploding into a brassy melody, continuously gaining momentum. "Blackout" immediately announces itself as a next generation Detroit House anthem. The rolling synths, hi hats, and vocals make this one of the most outstanding tracks on the album. "Aurora" stays true to its name with a buildup composed of throbbing ethereal synths that give the track an otherworldly vibe. "Flood" transports listeners to the dancefloor with its pulsating bassline combined with Komplement's quaint vocals.

The second part of the album begins with "After All", one of the most enticing tracks on the album. It combines the groovy rhythm of four to the floor percussion with tantalizing vocals by VARS before "Low Tinnitus" reverts to Dapayk's signature minimalist sound. The transition into "Wanderer" continues the momentum built up by the previous tracks. The closing "Walk With Me" is a deep-house jam that features a rhythmic shaker layered under Mental Bend's powerful vocals.


Dapayk Solo, alias Niklas Worgt, isn't afraid to try new things. With 5 aliases under his belt, he continuously strives to experiment with different styles and production techniques to create innovative sounds. Throughout the span of two decades he went from producing drum'n'bass to house to ultimately crafting the groovy, edgy techno sound that he's now known for.

With more than ten LP releases and over 70 single releases on his record, he is one of the main protagonists in the world of underground electronic music. In 2017, he released an LP titled "Harbour" with his wife Eva Padberg under one of his many projects, Dapayk & Padberg. While that album aimed to steer away from traditional club beats, "The Calling" sees Dapayk reassume his deep, dark, and infectious sound. While Dapayk is often categorized as a minimal producer, the LP proves that he is capable of extending beyond the scope of a single genre. "The Calling" is just another example of why Dapayk has managed to stay in the scene for so long: he loves electronic music and he's great at making it, too.

Mathias Kaden and Henrik Schwarz remix their favourite tracks from Dapayk's „Decade One“ Album. The best loops are still those that get you more excited, the longer you play them. Mathias Kaden's remix of „All Eyes On You“ is from that rare category. Kaden himself seems to be aware of the efficiency of his loop and confidently gives it time to develop without leaving people waiting for the drop longer than neccessary. There's no need to introduce every element step by step to keep the tension. Instead of just remixing the track conventionally, Kaden took obviously a lot of time and love for details to create something new! Henrik Schwarz operates on his remix of „Back To Me“ with an entirely different approach that isn't less interesting. The transposition of the key applies some fresh paint to the song. The producer enriches the track with his personal saxophon
variant. Additional to the original instrument he uses a weird needle-scratch kind of sound to play the virtuose solo passages. The very similar harmonics remind you of the real woodwind – a very eccentric piece that goes with the clubs as well as the couch! More

Dapayk's latest album is called „devil's house“. Unlike its forerunner, the beats are less abstract, but topical and more break-beat-like: you can't miss the straightness of these voluminous sounds! Of course you will find typical Dapayk sounds and you will not do without the vocals. But let's face it in order: "Intro" - a cinematic shattering of saw - introduces a house of dark powers which could have Devil written on the doorbell panel. These powers continue in "Scratch the surface": Under this surface you can guess the pulsing dancefloor, which rules the next track like a sawtooth massacre "A saw attacks". Its break-beat-like rhythm reveals a powerful listening experience and becomes the first single: A symbiosis between minimal beats that are enriched with Dapayk's inspiration he gathered over the last year. Dubstep and 2Step samples interweave this track, so you don't have a single clue where electro starts and techno ends. All new are skits, small audio clips, that separate and connect tracks, such as "Better stop breathing", which leads over to "Vermo's House" and combines Dapayk's stumbling beats with a nasty sawing sound. Having gameplayed through most of the levels of „Devil's house“ you face another Skit: "Road to boesendorf" - a relaxing piano etude, before "Right here with me" starts: A track, which will be loved by the fans of the Dapayk couple. In "Berlin amo", 2Step Beats and Electro marry without trouble (although you might think these genres won't match - be surprised they will!) and gives prospects where Berlin's musical journey might be going. "Child of the night" appears minimal plus dark and "How low" evokes the depths of the bass with incisive questioning vocals. The beatless snippet "Strings attached" leads to the melancholic ending of the album. This melancholy continues in track "Niro", which connects Dubstep a la Burial and Minimal. "Skit" - a clip with an acoustic guitar - leads over to "A wave that leads you home": The album's final track that bids farewell. This album not only reaches out for the dancefloors, but also (which should be common for a longplayer) offers an emotional joyride on a roller coaster. The roller coaster is packed with typical Dapayk sounds and latest influences of his sound cosmos, which of course enlarge Dapayk's palette in an interesting way. This summer Mo’s Ferry Prod. comes up with a new two-track 12inch by Dapayk solo, announcing the release of his second album „devil’s house“ in late September. The title track on side A is already giving directions for this journey – provided that there’s a proper bass response – „frickelsound“ with affection to the little details, in particular with regards to the bass frequencies. But knowing Dapayk that’s hardly surprising, by now ;-) On the B side he presents „a saw attacks“ - a track like a recapitulation of certain minimal elements that are around for quite a while now. But only the beginning is a typical sportive staccato theme. The new EP is about anti-gravitation. Vano tries to bring this topic to the dance floor with minimalistic means. “Gravity Drive” reveals his keen sense for timing and balance of warm roaring beats, ravy hooklines and
blockbuster vocal snippets. He creates an energetic state on the floor that keeps the crowd moving on its own. In track no.2 “Sick Bastard” Vano locks the listener in a time loop. Now, with the release of the first remixes the Berlin-based duo as well as renowned artists from the Mo's Ferry label family serve the dancefoor, again. Since the release of the album their track “Silent Fireworks” has been a candidate for a 12” single. And a remix by Marek Hemmann and another edit by Dapayk complete this vinyl perfectly. Marek Hemmann turns the original in a lively, ear-catching hymn for every sun worshipper. He makes use of the full toolbox from ultra harmonic basslines to pleasing melodies. Dapayk sat down again and formed a new version of this track with focus on danceability. Very laid-back the remix grooves into your ear. But it keeps the longing mood of the original version by spreading the lead vocals in far distance. The second track on the b side is the album version, for comparison. More

Mr. Statik is back on Mo's Ferry with his new EP “Roll Down The Shutters”. And he got massive support from Sasha Perera (Jahcoozi). She performed the laid-back vocals on this release. Remixes by Dapayk and Daze Maxim complete the package - but enough with the name dropping. The original track shows influences in dub, but with an elegant touch. Stathis often uses minimalistic 80s drum sound patterns and smooth bass lines. The specific topic of this tune lies in the depth of tape echoed chord sounds and the pretty cool vocals of Sasha Perera, as already mentioned. Btw, she also played the horn parts. Dapayk moves his remix more in the tech house genre. He obviously changed tempo and bass line to get enough drive for a peaktime floor filler. But he also leaves room for the original vocals and the horn section. Daze Maxim's remix is more in the minimal direction. Despite the loose tempo of the original he brought a new definition and focus to the beat. He takes only a few snippets from the vocals but plays extensively with the modulation of the chord sounds. Mr. Statik himself marks the finish of the EP. His dub mix slowly rolls down the shutters. More

You open the door. You take a step into the cool fog of a new morning. It‘s the hour before sunrise and while somewhere the remains of last nights party beats are hovering in the air, the wind carries broken scraps of a singer/ songwriter piece through the haunting haze your way. The night made way for a new day. A day, when everything will be different. Change, transformation, developement- these have always been the motor behind Berlins electronica duo Dapayk& Padberg. On their 4th longplayer they might now have made the most uncompromising step during their 10 year carreer in wich they have become one of europes most fascinating Clubacts. Their magic formula? Looking for alternatives. With their longplayer „Smoke“ they bid a temporary farewell to the dancefloor. They are taking new paths, searching, trying new, never before seen patterns. These paths led the duo from the golden hills of the Provence to the dark autumnal lowlands at the border between scotland and england. The influence of those places is felt throughout the whole record with its atmospheric hybrid-tracks. After their last album „Sweet Nothings“ with its summery/ funky sound Dapayk& Padberg are now opening the door to a gloomy-melancholic world. While „Sweet Nothings“ was a balancing act between clubsound and Listening-Electronica the duo is now turning its back on the dancefloor, to take the listener on an accustic tour through their personal Amber Room. Dapayk& Padberg‘s albums have always been snapshots of their current inspirational and emotional world- with „Smoke“ they have now created their most consistent and self contained collection of New Release Information songs to date. Against all expectations, sometimes even against their own nature as artists, letting go of all too familiar and comfortable structures. „Smoke“ is all about overcoming those lines between different genres, letting go, opening their mind to the new, „without worrying about fitting into a certain niche or having to compromise“, Eva adds. „When we had the structure for about two thirds of the album set up, we realized that we‘re heading into some dark waters. I think with this album we found ourselves more than ever and maybe even grew up a bit..“ Growing up in fast times, in wich Niklas Worgt produces numerous club projects for the insatiable nightlife and Eva Padberg counts as one fashions most sought after faces. „Smoke“ is their escape with which Dapayk& Padberg transport an atmosphere that possibly noone would have expected in its intensity. „For us it‘s always been about finding the cracks and about contrast“, Niklas adds. „It‘s about challenging the listener. You open the door. You take a step into the cool fog of a new morning. It‘s the hour before sunrise and while somewhere the remains of last nights party beats are hovering in the air, the wind carries broken scraps of a singer/ songwriter piece through the haunting haze your way. The night made way for a new day. A day, when everything will be different. Change, transformation, developement- these have always been the motor behind Berlins electronica duo Dapayk& Padberg. On their 4th longplayer they might now have made the most uncompromising step during their 10 year carreer in wich they have become one of europes most fascinating Clubacts. Their magic formula? Looking for alternatives. With their longplayer „Smoke“ they bid a temporary farewell to the dancefloor. They are taking new paths, searching, trying new, never before seen patterns. These paths led the duo from the golden hills of the Provence to the dark autumnal lowlands at the border between scotland and england. The influence of those places is felt throughout the whole record with its atmospheric hybrid-tracks. After their last album „Sweet Nothings“ with its summery/ funky sound Dapayk& Padberg are now opening the door to a gloomy-melancholic world. While „Sweet Nothings“ was a balancing act between clubsound and Listening-Electronica the duo is now turning its back on the dancefloor, to take the listener on an accustic tour through their personal Amber Room. With their Chamber-Electro mix, containing characteristics of dubstep, catchy pop-elements, classical string arrangements and and a singer/songwriter-like intimacy, they achieve to create new sound-rooms. „The time we spent in scotland was the most creative and productive time we ever had,“ explaines Eva Padberg. „It was a wonderful experience to get up in the morning, have breakfast and after a long walk in the drizzling rain have nothing else to do then to sit in front of the log fire with a glass of whiskey in our hands and work on new tracks...“
Dapayk& Padberg‘s albums have always been snapshots of their current inspirational and emotional world- with „Smoke“ they have now created their most consistent and self contained collection of New Release Information songs to date. Against all expectations, sometimes even against their own nature as artists, letting go of all too familiar and comfortable structures. „Smoke“ is all about overcoming those lines between different genres, letting go, opening their mind to the new, „without worrying about fitting into a certain niche or having to compromise“, Eva adds. „When we had the structure for about two thirds of the album set up, we realized that we‘re heading into some dark waters. I think with this album we found ourselves more than ever and maybe even grew up a bit..“ Growing up in fast times, in wich Niklas Worgt produces numerous club projects for the insatiable nightlife and Eva Padberg counts as one fashions most sought after faces. „Smoke“ is their escape with which Dapayk& Padberg transport an atmosphere that possibly noone would have expected in its intensity. „For us it‘s always been about finding the cracks and about contrast“, Niklas adds. „It‘s about challenging the listener. For me there is nothing more boring than over-produced, clean computermusic.“ More

After their last album „Sweet Nothings“ on Stil Vor Talent in 2012 with its summery-funky sound the duo is now opening the door to a gloomy-melancholic world. Dapayk & Padberg consciously turn their back on the dancefloor and abandon the formerly typical balancing act between club sound and listening electronica. Even though the A side of the present single is certainly made for the DJs, it shall be the sole exception to their current creative path. The down-tempo version of “Smoke” on the B side already reveals the new Dapayk & Padberg uneasy listening mixture. More

Mo's Ferry presents a brand new super groovy house EP by [a]pendics.shuffle and Dilo. Two years ago their first release on the label was filed under their alter ego Cascabel Gentz. Now, after making the decision to reveal themselves to us, the new tracks feel even more personal and heart warming. On the A side is the driving but also kind of trippy "Wonderful Wonderfall". Dapayk's remix adds more definition to the track and moves it towards the techy department. The deep "Drifting Away" on the B side impresses with beautiful laid-back vocals embedded in a dreamy cloud of slowly spinning pads. Kenneth Scott partly waived the deepness to give room for extensive and creative bassline work. This is another wide range Mo's Ferry release. More

The last time Patrick Vano appeared on Mo's Ferry was a remix for Jedi Jet in the beginning of 2013. And the new year seems to be a changing point in his career. Before that Patrick released under his nickname Peddy, which is - to be honest - no longer appropriate. The latest productions show that he's grown out of his bedroom studio and local DJ residencies. It's time to take the next step. Under his moniker Patrick Vano he's got his first full-length album „The Other Side Of Me“ coming up in a few weeks. The current 4-tracker gives an insight into what's going to be expected. Dapayk puts his stamp on the EP with a distinctive remix. He's absolutely convinced that Patrick Vano will forge his own path. Piotr Bejnar might still look like a freshman on the Mo's Ferry label, but he convinced us with talent, devotion and a fascinating drive when performing his music live on stage. Look up his name on Youtube and you'll know why... One year after his surprising debut with the digital 3-tracker „Janusz EP“, this follow up will also be released on vinyl. For Piotr Bejnar the „Cracow Fight“ is not only a platform to present himself. He welcomes his friend and
producer Jackname Trouble on board and finishes the 4-tracker with two excellent remixes. Yapacc and Patlac are definitely no unknown entities. The two German producers are highly acclaimed for their own releases and remixed the tracks with great respect to the originals. More
