Propelling Down Under techno and house into the world's clubs with classics such as Phreakin', LSD and 6AM in the mid-90s, djhmc (Cam Bianchetti) is rightly hailed as the 'godfather of Australian techno'. Now with more than 30 years experience of transcendentally moving dancefloors - and 20 years with his productions, remixes and edits; djhmc is back with a new label - reflector. This will be an all new platform to showcase totally remastered versions of his back catalogue as well as to provide a vehicle to bring his current and previously unreleased work to his already loyal following and to new believers. Cam Bianchetti is a man of many talents who is very much in demand as a DJ and a producer, and he applies the same meticulous attention to detail and knowledge of what works a dancefloor across both disciplines. Under his djhmc alias, it isa very broad church that covers disco, house and techno, whilst his other monikor, Late Nite Tuff Guy focuses more on his love of Funk & Soul. When it comes to giving a classic sound a new contemporary twist, there is simply no-one better. With the arrival of the 'reflector' label the world is his, and he has embraced it whole-heartedly as in the past the world embraced djhmc; once again its time to prove why he is one of the most talented techno and house producers and DJs to ever grace the turntables….the Godfather is back!

HMC's most recent offering of techno and house music, City Rhythm, (Juice 002) is a sound typical of his influence on dance music culture in his hometown of Adelaide, Australia. From pre-internet days when scenes throughout Europe and the US were created on the back of techno and house music, a smaller but just as significant scene had developed in Adelaide, Celebrations were a weekly occurance on Adelaide dance floors and DJ HMC was responsible for the playlist. He established himself as one of Australia's most popular Dj's and his recording career followed soon after. By 1991 his massive hit "life Support System" from the 100% Juice EP. (Juice 001) had his local fans citing him as a pioneer of Australian techno and house music.HMC's, City Rhythm, is vintage and new. Damien Donato of Juice Records say's, "you cant create a more true Juice Record than this. Our signature sound was founded on the early years of HMC's recording career". City Rhythm has a maturity in composition and sound. With classic synth sounds, arrangements of deep house and the revered pulse of a solid techno groove, there are club anthems, underground house gems and techno moments designed for any sound system. Listening back to HMC's Southern Cross EP, (Juice 012, 1995), you can hear his international appeal. He had a global hit in the track LSD, but the EP hid gems, such as, Digits. These were true House Master C trax.
These elements have more clarity on City Rhythm. HMC has stayed true to his musical ambitions but has embraced the technology of today without fear of losing any appeal to techno and house music purists. Damien continue's..."City Rhythm puts those early years into perspective, we have very different lives since those days, but HMC's musical output remains a constant, it is the same music but HMC has refined his art..."
A vision of 20 years ago by a label and artist wasn't a fad, it was a sound. City Rhythm is available now.

A1 Algorhythmic Expressions (Intro)
A2 That's A Groove
B1 Music Business (LP Version)

nobody home - Sonata for Henrietta
Genre: Techno. Home Records is the musical output for Marcus Henriksson aka Nobody Home, Minilogue, Son Kite on which he writes:This vinyl is a monument for the discoveries in the search for the Self. Contemplating and exploring the questions; Who and what am I? Where do I come from? And what is this "I" that we all are refering to? These two musical pieces and the artwork is the outcome of these matters in mind. Mastered by Marcus "Nobody Home". No limiting! No digital plugins!!! Little compression and some analogue EQ'ing to keep the original space and dynamics in the music.

(2023 Repress) Safe Trip is taking one final deep dive into the warm waters of Italian dream house with Welcome To Paradise Volume 3, the concluding chapter in the label’s journey through the previously overlooked world of one of dance music’s most vibrant and influential underground movements. While the influence of dream house continues to echo through the ages, the style was at its peak between 1989 and ’94, when producers across Italy delivered a high volume of loved-up, wavy and occasionally blissful productions that fused contemporary deep house tropes – most notably from Chicago, New York and New Jersey – with elements borrowed from ambient, jazz and Balearica. It’s this six-year period that provides the focus for Welcome To Paradise Volume 3, which draws together a spine-tingling mixture of sought-after classics, unheralded gems and little-known delights from the original Italian dream house movement. Thrillingly, Welcome to Paradise Volume 3 co-curator Young Marco has managed to source two previously unreleased tracks during the dream house period: the gently unfurling, sunrise-friendly bliss of Jacy’s “Resounding Seashell” and a special “Longer Edit” of Neurostate’s brilliant “Dance To The House”, a track that – somewhat surprisingly – has never previously been issued on vinyl before. Elsewhere, there are plenty of treats to set the pulse racing, from the must-have deep house brilliance of Leo Anibaldi’s “Universe” – a rare foray into dream house territory from the Italian techno pioneer – and the Afro-bleep-goes-dream-house trip of Golem’s “Sun City”, to the cowbell-driven, New Jersey garage-influenced warmth of Deep Choice’s “Children Trip” and Cosmic Galaxy’s “Walkin’ On The Moon”, a Detroit techno-influenced outing with a deliciously saucer-eyed, extended ambient intro. You’ll also struggle to find a more inspired house record than Green Baize’s “Tramp Heart”, which mixes familiar dream house elements with spacey electronics and tribal chants that recall Italy’s early ‘80s Afro-cosmic scene. It all adds up to another essential selection of rich, glassy-eyed dream house treats tailor-made for sound-tracking drawn-out Adriatic sunsets, Mediterranean sunrises and loved-up parties the world over.

There is a tendency within modern electronica to pigeonhole and categorise, to package music into easily digestible formulae. In direct revolt comes Dutch artist Satori and his new album Dreamin’ Colours, released globally April 22nd, 2022, on renowned imprint Crosstown Rebels. Recorded at the esteemed Sonic Vista Studios in Ibiza, the nine-track LP has been greatly anticipated off the back of its proceeding’s singles: Yellow Blue Bus ft. Laska, Lalai ft. Ariana Vafadari and most recently Gin Song. An ethereal, swirling body of work, Dreamin’ Colours is rich in texture, colour and imagination. Satori stretches himself out through languorous, mystical explorations of both the digital and the analogue elements of music, the result a beautifully conspired collection of world music, steeped in electronic and Balkan roots, and straddling a multitude of genres from blues and indie electronic to opera, folk and beyond.
