Having honed a style that has endured over an illustrious career, DMX Krew continues to immerse his productions in luscious analogue electronica, touching on the many bases of electro, Detroit techno, synthpop and dreamwave.

After landing his malfunctioning PX-4000 on the purple planet, Captain DMX steps out of the smoldering cockpit. After barely setting foot on the dusty landscape, the Captain is startled by deep thudding from over the hills. Dragging his oxygen pack with one hand and his atomizer with the other, he sets off in search of the other-wordly din. Over the hill his pupils adjust to the stroboscopic lightning and below him lies a sea of strange creatures moving together as one body. A cosmic sermon takes place under the three suns in the sky, mechanical and stuttered frequencies set a manic pace and drive the dark creatures back and forth. Captain DMX sighs a heavy breath and starts to descend into the fray. More

A joyous mash of influences collide and Hill spits them out of the blender with some typically unexpected curveballs.

Matt Whitehead needs no introduction here on Super Rhythm Trax and for this outing, he’s joined by No Data Available (fresh from a recent outing on Null & Void) and together they’ve come up with somethingsuper special. ‘Sahara’ and ‘Temple Of Set’ conjure strong images that match their respective titles with the mood alternating between majestic and mystical. Masterpieces.

Nexus 21 and Altern 8 legend Mark Archer teams up with one of House Music’s hottest properties, Shadow Child for this explorative mission into the harder end of the genre. The three tracks range from the exposive Acid House of “It’s Good” ; as catchy as it is jacking, through ‘Non Stop’ that expertly squeezes the most from a Mr. Fingers style synth to great effect and culminates with ‘Eye Feel’ which straight up bangs the party.
The fourth track is a remix of ‘Non Stop’ by Jerome Hill that opens it out adding lush strings and some extra bounce.. There’s even a subtle piano in there somewhere !
