Essential reissue!! The producer and dj from Chicago Joey Kay published in 1994 an EP that soon became a favorite of the 90s house DJs around the world: 'Eclectiz Ep'. The legendary label House Jam Records was responsible for editing and selling it. Nowadays, in 2016 (22 years later) the owners of the label Bons Records have been in contact with Joey Kay and they have been quick to reach an agreement to make a remastered edition of the great Eclectiz Ep including the same tracks that the original version but at an affordable price to everyone, not favoring the speculation around these kind of musical gems, mostly in platforms like Discogs. 'Eclectiz Ep' has been remastered by Robert Feuchtl (Fat Of Excellence)

124 Recordings are pleased to introduce their first release,Joey Kay's 'Toy Piano' with a remix courtesy of Washerman.Joey Kay from Chicago has been producing since 1989,and has only chosen to appear on a small number of releases,starting with "Eclectiz" (House Jam - 1994).He has also appeared on the highly influential 'My Love Is Underground Label' MLIU09 in 2012,where his track 'Fill Er Up' was championed by label owner Jeremy Underground Paris.He has also recently appeared on the 'Welcome Back To The Underground' label in Paris WBTTU#3 with the track 'Fewer Than None'.'Toy Piano' is the real sound of Chicago House Music,with its bumping,raw groove,made by one of its own,who was there when it all began.On remix duty we have a man who needs no introduction-Switzerland's Gianni Siravo,aka Azuni aka Washerman.To say he has been prolific in terms of House Music would be an understatement,from Azuni's seminal 'Raw Chord' to 'Here You Come/Believe' with releases on Boe Recordings,Morris Audio,and Compost's Drumpoet Community.It was on the latter label that he became widely know,as Washerman and the massive 'Basement Chord'.Here he takes Joey Kay's original mix and takes it deeper and darker,giving it a Wild Pitch old school flavour.This will be a vinyl only release-enjoy!

Let yourself Fall into these TRUE Anthems Of Chicago's Deep House Music!The Music on this Extended Play kicks off A1 Placement, with a Classic Chicago Term "Crosstown Classix", which represents a Deep House with a Peak Club Attitude. A vast array of both Rhythmic and Musical Instruments, in seemingly almost perfect unison, yet Swingin' to the feel of the Moving Dance Floor.
