Steve Lee's (The Project Club) ABOVE MACHINE label returns with another superb release from acclaimed Italian duo Almunia Their last single for AM was a best-seller, and their celebrated output through Paul 'Mudd' Murphy's Claremont56 label, including the recent Pulsar LP has seen the their blissful & uplifting Balearic sound win over many a new follower 'Find My Way' is a gorgeous, acoustic guitar led vocal number, conjuring up twilight beach side boogie, balmy breezes and ice cold drinks. Marius Circus gets to work on the B side, taking the irresistible melodies to a much later, darker dancefloor. Laying a foundation of squelchy moog style bass and a toughened up rhythm track before heavily effected guitars sweep across the mix elevating the whole thing to near transcendental heights ! A superb release and addition to the Above Machine catalogue

Previously only available digitally the boys create two remixes on this ltd edition 10" vinyl. The Coyote Sunrise mix is sun kissed chugger, with looped vocals and layers of guitars all dancing arms aloft as the sun comes up. The Coyote Sunset Mix pushes the synth arpeggio to the front and strips the track back to push the vocals to the front. Deep soft drums take the track to an epic guitar drop. soft strings wrapping their arms round you for beautiful sunset moment

expand and evolve beautifully. One Time is a gorgeous slice of the same, and conjurs up gentle sea breezes and long summer days perfectly The ever essential Craig Bratley, whose All Ears distributed Magic Feet label has provided some of our best output, alongside recent hit 'Obsession' on Weatherall's Bird Scarer imprint takes charge on the flipside here.
Craig takes the melodic motif's and vocal parts and weaves a trademark synthed out & acidic chugger of epic proportions. Sure to be belting out across the Adriatic this summer
Andrew Clarke - whose been making an impact with a selection of cuts on labels like Audio Parallax & Chopshop - wraps it all up with a truly amazing rework, managing to retain all the stunning musicality of the original, but elevating the elements to euphoric new heights.

As the sun rises a little higher in the sky, Above Machine emerge from their Winter hibernation with the first fruits of their impeccably assembled new release schedule. Jonny Nash takes on Jose Manuel's 'Summer Wind' and, much like the superb 'Melody As Truth' releases he's penned, sets out a widescreen canvas of tone and melody, as piano and vocal punctuate the sonic plain. Twisted Tongue take on Maricopa's recently unveilied 'We Could Maybe' feat. Nicola Kramer. And the result sounds like Loose Ends operating as in-house band at a speakeasy orbiting a distant nebula The B Side has Seconds' 'Another Day' beautifully reconfigured for sunrise moments by SLO, while B2 has an original SLO moment 'Bombora' which, much like it's namesake is a gentle Balearic breaker washing over the sonic reef... Bona fide bottled sunshine people - Above Machine are back !

Steve Lee's (The Project Club) ABOVE MACHINE label returns with a superb 12 from The Vendetta Suite, the brainchild of Gary Irwin - Belfast resident and long-term collaborator with David Holmes. Irwin’s inspiration comes from Weatherall’s seminal A Love from Outer Space and Belfast’s early ‘90s Sugar Sweet nights. Irwin creates two pieces both in thrall to the Keeping the Faith Balearic scene. Additional remixes are provided by disco aficionado Ray Mang (DFA) and Nottingham’s heavy dub brothers Shrinkwrap. Above Machine are heading straight for the dance floor on this release…

Above Machine is a record label run by Steve Lee (The Project Club). Seconds is the alter ego of Markus Enochson and Luciano Leiva. Together with singer Linus Lutthi they deliver "Another Day" which is a breezy, Balearic affair with the solemn moodiness of Nick Drake. It's reminiscent of late end-of-summer days when time seems to stand still, but in the most bittersweet of ways. Remixes are provided by Lexx - Who once again adds that subtle disco blend whilst drinking an Estrella at the beach bar. The Seahawks dive deep and provide an ambient masterpiece, which lures you deeper into their crazy world of delays, reverb and a Studer A80 running backwards in a Shoreditch broom cupboard.

Field Of Dreams (Reprise Mix) incorporates the Project Club's trademark dreamy guitars coupled with a gorgeous synth hook courtesy of the Prophet 5. Best served horizontal. The Lexx Remix stays close to the original mix but moves gently into the world of disco by adding a smooth bassline by Reto Gaffuri and a tight drum track that together creates a beautiful Beach Bar groove. The D-Pulse remix serves up a top-notch remix production using all the very best elements from the original mix whilst adding their own unique quality and musicianship to the proceedings. Stunning! 'Beginnings' started off life as a remix, but ended up as a Project Club beach epic. The track is irresistibly melancholy and pure Project Club. Tried and tested by a number of Balearic DJs
