Harmonious, supple and dynamic, grinding grooves open into a synthesised theme thats haunting and dramatic, with a ‚slowhouse' tension that really lifts over the course of the track. Sven Tasnadi is a producer who, with every release, audibly and gracefully takes his style down the many different avenues of house and techno city... His latest, brave work for Poker Flat then could perhaps be described as a midnight drive down Main Street, tempted by and lingering at some of the darker side streets, yet journeying on regardless....! Its a fantastic ride from Tasnadi, that sees two versions of the title cut plus a perfect B side track included for good measure. ‚Habanero‘ is a tough, tracky concoction of thick bass led percussion, warbling, building sci-fi synths and classy hi-end hats. The unmistakable groove begins low and simply builds upwards, creating a 10 minute cabride through ultra-modern tech house, Cuba style! We wont spoil the fun with the tingling breakdown‘s key moment... but there‘s also a (Without Trumpet) version on the B1....! Carrying on the chunky, dramatic vibes, ‚Piri Piri‘ dubs things out as a blissful and unique synth line carries this beautiful journey track along its honest and respectful path. After his releases on Cargo Edition and Liebe*Detail and Cooperations with his label mate Daniel Stefanik (you remember- march 2007 groove charts #3!) we had to wait a little while for some news of Leipzig's new star Sven Tasnadi. Now he is back with a Smallville Labeldebut "Waiting". Deeply growing and then catching the dancefloor, the a-side is simply a hit covered by Tasnadi's fluffy beats to rise a mindsweeping melody. Organic Beats with tightly soft drums - this is Leipzig's Cargo style. The beside comes up with two minimal house tracks- chordish, sweet to dance the night away. Respected Leipzig based multi-instrumentalist Panthera Krause arrives on KANN with New Age appeal! Delving into a more mysterious sound than the label is commonly known, the artist draws from the dark side of the pool, taking in Baltic choir inspirations, 80s cinema themes (Tarantino's favourite) and lyrical GDR rock for good measure. Produced in secrecy over the past 12 months, Krause gets in touch with his inner Stereolab by creating an enchanting new full length entirely on headphones. Drip fed to those close to him over the past year, he was convinced to share these audiobooks to a wider audience, now resulting to: Aside The Aeons.
