Conquest One is a pitch-black industrial powerhouse built to seek and destroy. Subjected uses heavy distortion and machined motifs to create a genuine warehouse experience. Starting off is “Nastes”, a merciless and emotionally detached arrangement. Tailored to penetrate any Birmingham or Berlin style bomb shelter with heavy Panzer style kicks, explosive recoils and scattered metallic shrapnel. “Conquest 1” is a dreary aftermath filled with obscure hypnotic vocals and disfigured rhythms, blanketed in an electric dust cloud of complexities. Gerd Janson and Phillip Lauer’s “Tuff City Kids Style Edit” finishes up this full-fledge package with a less distorted, peak-time analog interpretation of the original.
