Sakro is back with a new vinyl, perfect for the start of the mild and sweet sunny days! This time, the french label offers something smooth and fresh. Sakro who is a young producer from Mexico, delighted us with these deep house gems. For the vinyl, he produced 3 original tracks. I'v added to this package a remix french the talented S3A, doing really dirty house grooves at the moment. let’s talk about the music...

Sakro - Into Dreams
Edgardo Alonso better known as Sakro returns to our label with his second solo single, after his first release with us in 2017. Four different moods, ranging from his typical bouncy garage beats on „Eternal Horizon“, to the more house related tracks called „Flash“ and „Driving me Crazy“ on the B side and rounding off this release with the more electronic sounding „Into dreams“, which is a bit different from his usual stuff. Altogether a really nice package and a worthy follow up to the „No Time to Explain“ EP.

sakro - Supersymmetry
Visionquest Special Edition returns this September with Sakro’s ‘Supersymmetry’ EP. Edgardo Alonso aka Mexican producer and DJ Sakro has been rising up the ranks over the past few years with his raw, stripped-back approach to house seeing him release material with revered imprints in the field such as Raum...musik, Housewax, Karlovak and Fathers & Sons. Here we see the Sakro joining the roster of Visionquest offshoot Special Edition, the vinyl only imprint home to material from Ricardo Villalobos, Craig Richards, Wareika and Konrad Black amongst others. Up first on the package is ‘Lusyd’, a shuffling percussion fuelled number featuring swinging snares, murky atmospheric pads and choppy sub bass hits at its core. ‘Jazz In Mars’ follows embracing robust rhythms and an amalgamation of jazzy sample snippets alongside resonant synth swells to create a sturdy peak time workout. Voices’ opens the B-Side of the release with heavily swung drums, smooth ethereal chords and lumpy sub frequencies while a dark and brooding vocal ebbs and flows throughout the composition. Title-cut ‘Supersymmetry’ then closes out the release with an energetic rhythmic drive, intricately modulating synth flutters and snaking pad lines.

Raum Musik 100 is coming from Edgardo Alonso better known as Sakro. He is hailing from Mexico and we have been following his work for quite some time now. Therefor we are quite happy that we finally found the perfect match of tracks to put this single together. The title track of the EP „No time to explain“ already attracted a lot of attention during the summer when a handful of djs that were lucky enough to already have it, have been dropping the tune on some bigger stages and festivals and it quickly became a sought after track. We are very happy about our 100th release and as always we hope you enjoy the music as much as we do. Cheers and happy birthday Raum !

In recent years Spanish producer Baldo has built a great style and following in the modern house scene, catching the attention of Andrade who has recruited him for this fantastic new five tracker EP called "Far Away". With a well developed sensitivity, Baldo has featured a sensual combination of house and susceptible feelings to create an outstanding and very special cocktail. Three crisply produced tracks likely to spoil the senses with delicate melodies and bass-driven sound. The music speaks for itself. Once again we welcome our friends on the remixes. Hold Youth main man, Le Loup, the protagonist of the Paris scene and known for his releases for Wolf+Lamb, Eklo and Fragil, re-creates a dubby version of In The Crowd, setting an impressive atmosphere and deeper experience. Last but not least, we welcome John Dimas (Bass Culture, Claap, Dame Music) who introduces a darker approach for the dance floor with his acid house tool remake of Glass Table. Feedbacks: Alland Byallo – “Really great EP. Glass Table and Leo's mix are my favorite, but it's hard to pick. Every cut here is the jammmmmm.” Christopher Rau – “Yes this is nice, I’m especially feeling the Le Loup Remix.” Gerd – “Wow very nice deep house trax! I love how In The Crowd builds and explodes with these acidic vibes at the end. Baldo proves to be a good producer once again. Well done!” Agoria – “Great vibes and groove on the original of In The Crowd, cool and sexy house music!” Raresh – “The John Dimas mix holds the most for me.. gonna try it out!” Alex Barck – (Jazzanova) – “Such a beautiful and rich EP. Really like this.” Joris Voorn – “Summer's here, even though it's still snowing..?Great house EP guys!” Joel Alter – “Both versions of Baldo’s In The Crowd are really nice! I’ll be playing!” Chris Carrier – “Another good remix from Le Loup!! That’s the mix for me. Supporting!” Sebo K – “This is such an excellent package of music!! I’ll be playing!” Tom Middleton – “Great retro style and production. In The Crowd and Glass Table are winners for me!”
Chopstick – “In The Crowd is dope! Original as well as Le Loup remix! Great release.. very similar vibe to our Sven von Thuelen's upcoming release..”
Arnaud Le Texier – “Classic house and more house. I like everything here..?”

For this second release the new Parisian label Street Knowledge choose to produce two young native Italians Djs. Peter JD and Francys met in a small city in the south of Italy, both evolving on the music scene since they’re 14. Peter is bringing the « Detroit house music » touch whereas Francys the 80’S 90’s music sound. From this collaboration is born the « Connection » Ep (« 28 Miles », « Not so Far »). Where two different worlds find each other in a common space, Connection Ep brings different ideas of sound at the same time, by one side following a dry techno line with pumping drums and solid grooves, by the other side warmer and deeper, crossing hypnotic Detroit flavored synths, Chicago house, organic elements and chromatic female vocals.
To make this release totally international Jenifa Mayanja from Connecticut and the Greek Quell are delivering two remixes that should make a bomb effect on all the dance floors. Added to this release a deep and classy remix from two new comers from Paris Siler & Dima More

26 years old Andrade is without doubt, one of the most exciting talents from the current crop of young French producers. Having built a reputation within the Paris scene for his skills behind the decks. Releases on Dessous followed and last year Andrade also made an impressive debut on Poker Flat Recordings. Making the first release of his own label Street knowledge, it’s time for Andrade to take centre stage himself with the “Sugar Ep”. Its bass-heavy groove is met with a busy vocal sample and refined piano chords, evoking a picture of his street knowledge.
Sugar is the soundtrack to a loft party. Classics snares, mysterious synths chords and crowd noises. Fantastic. Keeping it old school and rolling with the bass lines and keys, Andrade wraps up the originals with Irreversible and Berlin. For this first release, D'julz offers two excellent remixes of sugar in order to confirm the power of this release.
