Following our previous Pablo Valentino release (remixed by Detroit Swindle) which is still heavily played by many this summer, here comes our late summer delivery to spice up your sets. Days Of Our Lives is another fantastic House soundtrack curated by label captain Dairmount who managed to combine exclusive hottness old friends & new talent discoveries. The result is a solid 4 tracker made to satisfy the hungriest appetites.
The opener of this EP is What You Give, one of the most sought after tracks of the summer, finally coming in full glory. Why? Because it is the wonderful work of Kyodai, the Spanish duo which became one of everybody's darling of 2013 in the global House scene. With hits on Local Talk, Freerange, Pokerflat & recently Exploited under the belt, the boys are never stopping to present their powerful live performances all over the world. Presented for the first time in their Boiler Room appearance last June & played in every single live shows this summer, What You Give has been since then awaited by many... Sixth Non Sense is an amazing hybrid spacey rollercoaster made by our friend & long running producer from Finland, Roberto Rodriguez. A man that needs no introduction to tasty House connaisseurs thanks to his work on classic labels as Freerange, Large, Fina, Let's Play House & remixer of all trades of acts like Yoko Ono, Tigerstripes, Jay Shepheard, the Timewriter, Crazy P... Notes for Luisa is a bumpty groover tested & approved after many plays in Dairmount's dj sets. The track is coming courtesy of Carlo, another Spanish talent living in Berlin, also running the respectable Neovinyl & Good Ratio imprints and having a growing reputation for his live shows. Zulu Beer is the perfect closer to this well rounded release. This deep tribal odyssey has been another "human / artistic coup de coeur" of Dairmount who melted quickly for the warmth & the personality of Linda & Shy alias Sahin Meyer. A real couple in life, the South African duo has already displayed their skills on Lodemann's Best Works or the hyped Sccucci Manucci. A track showing respect & gratitude to the growing South African fan base of the label & the motherland of Shy & Linda. More

Originally from Malaga but a Berlin resident for the past 13 years, Carlo is thrilled to unveil his first album released under his own record label, Bisiesto. This label stands out for its unique approach, releasing just one album every four years on leap day, February 29th. In contrast to his previous style, this album blends all his musical influences into a unique mixtape of instrumentals.
Reminiscent of Nightmares on Wax, Kid Loco, and Mushroom Jazz, this album offers a unique auditory experience. Lora Ute brings a hint of tangy mellowness to ‘Because’ balancing dreaminess with playful notes, while Jose Fernancaster, with his immaculate guitar skills, infuses ‘Todo Mal’ with sexy guitar riffs and wahs. Intr0beatz's hip-hop touch enhances ‘Lemon Haze’, while Black Loops, a percussionist at heart, collaborates on ‘Midnight Cruiser’ to encapsulate the solitude of night-time city cruising with a lo-fi sound. Piek rounds off ‘Esperanza’ with an empowering bassline, tying the track together with a golden ribbon. More

Carlo Feat. O - Einhorn Poops
Label boss Carlo rallies the troops again. This time for his own new collaborative EP, ‘VERSUS’.
Aterral regular, firm family favourite and one of the labels founding artists, Black Loops, steps up on the gorgeously groovy ‘Hungover’. No cloudy heads or slow steps on this collab. Woozy keys yes, but these are kept true by the spritely xylophone melody and warm rolling bass. A perfect opener from this pairing.
Following his popular DOS despatch, ‘Be Pe Em’, much was expected of Emanuele Barilli’s new adventure alongside Carlo. ‘Lelazo’ doesn’t disappoint. Sharp shuffle, filtered keys and popping bassline, all make for a perfect beach-bound soundtrack. Close your eyes, feel the sun on your skin.
From Hungover to another victim of the session, as Carlo teams up with German producer Hauke Freer on ‘Maison.’ Deep, low slung vibes on this ode to the sound we all love. Beautifully constructed, from its patient creamy bassline to its bright rimshots and tender vocal. This is our house. Our home. Come on in.
The most personal of Carlo’s new tracks brings things to a close as he teams up with his young son on ‘Einhorn Poops’. The sun’s warmth is felt again on this beautifully crafted slice of balearic house that matches O's vocals to the equally innocent chimes and bird song to create a fitting and sublime finale. More

Release Note:
Next up on Seasons Series is an upbeat 5-tracker from Berlin-based producer, Carlo, who offers an exuberant respite from the context of urban seclusion out of which it was imagined.
Since his debut release back in 2009, the Spanish-born house connoisseur has well and truly mastered his craft: music that strikes the balance perfectly between the transportive, meditative potential of deep house and disco's danceable groove. where is everybody? EP is the product of this discovery. Lilting deep house track "Sensitive Response" sets the EP's feel-good tone whilst the title track picks up the energy with undertones of disco and funk.
On "Earth Two", Carlo teams up with Netherlands-based producer, Retromigration, to deliver a skippy sax-infused banger which lets you melt into its groove. Sampling a goodnight voicenote from his young son, "Noche" sees the EP at its most contemplative, a meditation on the isolating impact of lockdown. Finally, the tech-house sensibilities of the EP's closer "Moving Forward" leaves things on a positive note with a meandering funk bassline and blissful vocals.
Where Is Everybody? EP drops 25th February 2022 via Shall Not Fade. More

Carlo has been a steady force of deep house for the last 15 years with successful releases on over a dozen different labels. This latest foray on Lovedancing is one of his best. The entire EP is loosely influenced by The Neverending Story, apparent in the creative and enigmatic use of samples, inspired sounds, artwork and themes.
Every track is highly danceable, with the A-side title song taking front and center, utilizing an impressively complex layering of sounds and rhythm from the swung drums, to synth fills, to groaning siren sounds in the background.
The B-side finds the chunky and moody sounds of Gmork, and the disco-tinged Pyornkrachzark. A solid three tracker from start to finish that will find its home in many crates for an array of reasons. More

1. Kynf - 2. Schwanengesang - 3. Forget Me Not - 4. Forget Me Not (Kresy Remix)
Info:
Good Ratio Music looks deep into the brume and strikes gold with the first EP from Carlo on the imprint. Forget Me Not is a record that plays directly into one of the strengths of the artist: melting a coherent whole from ephemeral parts. Carlo keeps it rather fiercely on the house grooves, creating a far out sound with his fluent pulse and motif-based melodic improvisations. A unique sound that makes this three tracker remain to him at any spot. On the flip side Kresy delivers a solid remix of the main track, Forget Me Not. Where he tames the wild things and crowns himself as their king.

Hailing from St Petersburg in Russia, Kito Jempere has been recognised by his peers and a wider global audience thanks to an impeccable serie of releases in recent years. It is no surprise neither that Dairmount spotted him already in 2013 with his Confusion EP on Jimpster's Freerange, followed by his Objects album on his own Fata Morgana imprint & solid releases last year on Dirt Crew & Let's Play House. His tracks have been remixed by luminaries as Nachtbraker, Jacob Korn, Roberto Rodriguez, HNNY, Juju & Jordash, OOFT or Ruf Dug...Kito & me met in Montenegro last summer at the amazing Southern Soul Festival through our friends Eddy Ramich & Lay-Far. We both played as part of the 4 days event & developed a deeper relationship. Besides our obvious common musical grounds, we both became fathers nearly at the same time, him of Theo, me of Thea. This became our red line in our exchanges" remembers Phil with a grin on the face. Following his new fatherhood and an important HD crash which led to the loss of many musical works, Kito came back from Montenegro and sat down in his studio, starting from scratch, highly inspired. The 2 tracks you hear today are the results of these sessions of total freedom without prepared sound banks or samples. Kito & Phil took the time last autumn to let the tracks "breathe" and exchanged very naturally on their arrangements & mixdowns, till Kito finalised them in the silent snowy landscapes of the Russian country side in december.

kyodai - "Times Fly"
After 1 good year of hiatus & celebrating its 6th year in the game, Room With A View is back in full effect with a very special 3 tracker by Kyodai, a duo that has been gathering serious momentum after highly celebrated releases on Local Talk, Exploited, Freerange or Pokerflat to name a few. The famous brother pair has proven to be working hard in the last years recording, remixing & touring extensively. Reknown for their energitic live performances & to have deliver tracks & remixes that have been played by the Who's who of the global House scene, Kyodai have decided to choose RWAV to deliver some very personal tracks. In 2013 already, they appeared on our label with the uplifting "What You Give" that became on of the key tracks of the live sets of the last 2 years. Enjoying a long 15 years friendship with Dairmount and a common love of hybrid tracks loaded of musicality, Javi & Luis decided to lock themselves in studio last winter inspired by the idea to be the artist chosen to relaunch the label in 2015. The title Times Fly symbolises the longevity of friends that went through 2 decades of creation & exchange. And the result has been as surprising as the pair shaped up a very hypnotic & tribal red line with these new tunes. The title track "Times Fly" has been recorded in a few hours on a full moon night in their berlin studio, managing to induce a perfect balance of melancholy & tribal rhythms. Quite different of their usual sound signature, the track got everything to conquer the hearts of many different dj's & listeners this summer. "Sacred Ritual" is born of the idea of creating a special tool for Panorama Bar (where the pair just played before their studio time in january) and focusing on the power of drums & percussions. Finally, "You Know It" is reminiscent of their classic Kyodai sound epitomised by their hit Breaking with filtered basslines & catchy samples. The track has been one of the big crowd pleasers of their recent live sets

We are very happy to welcome our old friend Pablo Valentino for the second release of 2013. It is no coincidence if Pablo & Dairmount hooked up nearly 10 years ago when Pablo started his imprint Faces, dedicated to leftfield Black music influenced soundscapes rooted in Hip Hop culture. Both sharing a strong sense of underground activism, a deep love of the Black Music tree and a lovely obsession for futuristic sounds, it is no surprise that these two naturally decided to join effort under the Room with A View umbrella. Pablo's beatmaker science & love of sampling have always been highly appreciated by Phil and it didn't take him long to fall in love with One at first listening. The track displays perfectly the dusty roughness of heavy disco grooves that Pablo likes to give to his House productions. Low key harmonies & catchy Soul & funk samples are no strangers in Pablo's world. True to a spirit reminiscent of the famous Raw Cuts serie of Motor City Drum Ensemble, it is again no surprise that Valentino has been a long time friend & collaborator of Danilo Plessow. Both through their Hipsta Wonkaz production duo (on Faces & Ubiquity) & Pablo's long running curation of Danilo's work on Faces & MCDE Recordings, both friends paved a unique & personal path. As an A&R, Pablo has pushed the envelope with other unique sound scientists such as The Revenge, RedNose Distrikt or Grooveman Spot. In recent years, Pablo created the Creative Swing Alliance duo with Steven Joyce Ames with who the Strasbourg based omni-man signed brilliant works & remixes on respected labels such as Tsuba, Wolf Music, City Fly, Endless Flight, Quintessentials or K7. Next up, Pablo's monster original received the magic treatment of Amsterdam's finest Detroit Swindle. One of the hottest dj & production units of the global House scene confirms here why labels like Freerange, Saints & Sonnets or Dirt Crew went bananas to sign their early work. The Dutch duo has made a spectacular & fast rise and is already in high demand all over the planet. Their inimitable blend of melodical grooves, jazzy chords and bumpy bass-lines seemed to be tailor made to translate a new school approach to Pablo's rooted original tune

After an acclaimed serie of remixes on labels like Freerange, Fresh Meat, Composite & Komplex De Deep in 2011, Dairmount is back on his own imprint with Dust Devil. Recorded this summer between Gothenburg & Berlin with Nowakowski, the Swedish hotshot of the label, Dust Devil emphasized strongly Dairmount's love for House music infused of Hip Hop attitude. The motto is clear : reduced number of elements, samples only, maximum impact. Dairmount, who has always been strongly influenced by Hip Hop production techniques, had lots of fun to collaborate with Nowakowski, another strong Hip Hop influenced tweaker. Following a busy dj schedule that brought him in the last 18 months across Scandinavia, US, Turkey, France, Holland & Latvia between others, Dairmount is the true soul & ambassador of the label that he created in 2009.

Two years ago Dairmount got hooked on the fresh sounds of a young producer/DJ by the name of Martin Nowakowski. The first result of their artistic collaboration was the ‘Reframe EP’, a 4-tracker whose mesmerizing sounds grabbed the attention of quite some dignitaries of the international club scene such as Jimpster, Laurent Garnier, Steve Bug, Gerd and Simbad. Living the A&R to the fullest, Dairmount worked closely with Nowakowski to further develop his vision and sounds. After sophomore EP’s from Art of Tones and Marlow, Room with a View now proudly presents ‘Magenta’, Nowakowski’s follow up to last year’s ‘Reframe’. As a colour, magenta represents the artistic union of the energetic red and the introspective violet, which is demonstrated in the 5 different shades of the artist on this EP. ‘Magenta 1’ is a light- hearted house banger, built around a sexy disco sample, whereas the vibes of ‘Magenta 2’ take us into minor musical territory. ‘Magenta 3’ delivers the very same hypnotizing trademark sounds we were introduced to through Nowakowski first RWAV EP . ‘Magenta 4’ represents a deep bounce, with intriguing bleeps and cut-up vocals. Finally Nowakowski’s love of Detroit is displayed through the abyssal synths and bouncing beats in ‘Magenta 5’. The ‘Magenta’ EP displays a sonic portrait of the artist as a young man, it’s a freshly sounding blueprint of what’s to come. The future is bright, the future is… magenta.

Here is the 5th episode of the successful Midnight Circle Lullabies serie of 2011 and latest release of the year. But don't be misled, this one is another solid collection of tracks compiled with love by label honcho Dairmount. It has been a long wait but the much sought after Satellites track of Motor City Drum Ensemble is finally coming on wax, after being played by everyone from Deetron to Will Saul. Considered by Danilo himself, as one of his most personal tracks ever, the joint is a masterpiece of slomo timeless moody House Music. Coming as A2 is Pet In My Sea, a very special track displaying the amazing talent of the latest signing of the RWAV camp. Nowakowski is the young Swedish talent that Dairmount developped in secrecy in 2011 who released already on the Catz'n'Dogz imprint Pets. Definitely a rising start for 2012. On the flipside, Marlow offers a state of the art remix work by delevering a beautiful rendition of State 808, a track produced by xXxXx, the duo of Commixx & Knixx, known for their remarkable collaboration on Marlow's anthem Put Off. The track has been licensed from the German label Be Bonkers who released it digitally but Dairmount loved it & played it so much that he wanted to give a chance to vinyl lovers to get it on wax. Damn right isn't it? And finally, Marino Berardi provides a very valuable contribution with Best Intention, a classic track of the label, often compared to the sound esthetics of Braddock & Herbert, who has been a prime favorite of people as diverse as Joris Voorn, Milton Jackson or Trevor Jackson...

Long running stalwart of the global House scene for nearly 20 years, Ludovic Llorca has brought his work at the forefront with labels such as F Communications & 2020 Vision. In 2009, he lived an creative renaissance by uniting with Room with A View, finding with the guidance of Dairmount, a new genuine inspiration shelter. Several tracks started to appear on the label in the Perspectives serie and his first EP ” The World As I Live It” was released in march 2010 combining a huge critical & popular acclaim.
Literally everyone played tracks of the EP and it is still a firm favorite of many one year after. This spring, Art Of Tones contributed with “Too Much” to the 5th instalment of the Perspectives serie. This one became again one of the most played track of the summer according to Resident Advisor. Mr llorca has also been a very in demand remixer as witness recent additions to his already impressive remixography : Tortured soul on Fred Everything’s Lazy Days, TJ Kong on Compost, Evan Evans on The Revenge’s Instruments of Rapture, Marcos in Dub for Alma Soul, Mario Basanov for Under The Shade. He is also currently finishing his version of the next Toolroom big hit Punky Blaster’s Missin’. Llorca also freshly released "La debandade EP" as the follow-up to his big Ep of 2010.This brand new 3 tracker is a kind of tribute of Ludovic to the 90’s US House sound that inspired him to start to produce music in his early days. But instead of going for a superficial retro touch, he chosed to recreate the spirit in his very own way. For Real has been preciously kept out of the EP to be released ONLY ON VINYL as a genuine gift for vinyl lovers. Available here in 3 versions, this beauty will fits perfectly in the most classy dj sets.

Dairmount selected 4 amazing tracks for this third episode of the Midnight Circle lullabies vinyl serie. This time, it is all about tributing the Detroit sound which has been a major influence for many Room With A View artists. The one & only Danilo Plessow, celebrated in recent years as Motor City Drum Ensemble, known for his legendary Raw Cuts serie and for many high profile remixes of Dj T, Akabu, Caribou & more, is present here with his Mr. Fingers influenced Moving Through Clouds, a beauty of retro futurism. The second track of the A side is a very special one for us as this has been one of the latest recordings of Detroit legend Aaron Carl, who died sadly in autumn 2010.

Room With A View never stands still with another killer 4 tracker. The second installment of the Midnight Circle lullabies serie of 2011 is offering a serious bunch of tracks once again...Strong of his recent remixes for Fred Everything's Lazy Days & The Revenge's Instrument Of Rapture, Art Of Tones is featured here with his ultra classic " The World As I Live It", a track that became a heavy rotation number for people as diverse as Dj Sneak, Jimpster, Joey Negro, Kink or Agoria. The A side comes complete with the Dairmount & Berardi Dub of André Lodemann's Dark Edge, one of the early smash of the Berlin producer. Label honcho Dairmount & his partner Marino Berardi have been quite hot on the remix tip in 2011 by reworking Feygin for Dj Yellow's Composite, Jimpster for Freerange & Audio Soul Project for Fresh Meat. This dub has been a firm favorite of Tim Paris, Peter Kruder, Deetron, Moodymanc or Manik to name a few...On the flipside, Marlow, who is still doing waves with his Put Off EP released end of 2010, drops an amazing Blaxploitation infused rocker called Fonk that found its way in the boxes of MCDE, Osunlade, Charles webster or Dixon. And last but not least, San Francisco's Alland Byallo, today relocated in Berlin and known for his releases on Pokerflat, Liebe Detail or Dirt Crew, blessed us of the solid Stern Soul, a perfect peaktime banger keeping our Soul roots alive.
