For 124 Recordings' 4th release, Austrian producer Fabe steps up, and with the help of 2 killer remixes, delivers an EP that ticks all the boxes.
The original "Dusty Chords" starts as it means to go on with a baseline that instantly draws you into the groove before the chords lighten the mood and show you what this track is all about. Lush pads lift the track again and the ever evolving sounds keep you well and truly locked in as the track twists and turns to it's climax. Swiss man of the moment Washerman is first up on remix duties taking a more direct route. His trademark beats are quick to get going before playing in his own riff with the original chords. Lush pads again provide a lift and vocal snippets from the original give this remix a real feel good vibe. Rounding the EP off in style is a slow burning and deeper mix from Desos. Blissed out chords and a floating string are complimented by a killer baseline to give this track an irresistible contrast that makes it perfect for warming up the club. Support from Milton Jackson,Washerman,James Johnston, Jason Bye(We Love@Space/Playmore Terry's) & Desos.

Fabe - On Edge
Brazilian beat maker Fabe has emerged over recent years as one of tech house's most skilled groove smiths. His drums and bass are always seductive no matter their style. Here he links up with Burnski aka Instinct's Constant Sound label for four more irresistible nuggets. 'The Greater Good' is super quick as it glides over rippling bass with silky chords, then 'Newbie Bounce' has a more weighty groove. There is elastic funk and US swing in the shuffling goodness of 'Flow Groover' then 'On Edge' closes out with bulky deep house beats and late-night synth work of the highest order.

Fabe - Off To The Stadium
Fabe makes his highly anticipated debut on FUSE this August as he unveils his four-track vinyl sampler from his sophomore album, ‘Four Point Island’. A key figure within Mannheim’s blossoming scene and a core member of the city’s well-respected BE9 collective, DJ, producer and label boss Fabe has quickly forged his position as an artist of note within the house and minimal landscape. Featuring as a regular for both Cocoon and FUSE/Infuse across their worldwide events and labels, whilst also launching his own imprint Salty Nuts, the multi-faceted talent has carved out a trademark sound palette combining groove-heavy bassline with elements of classic house, forceful techno, forming a unique, high-energy style which is now instantly recognisable as his own across the scene today. Following on from the release of his debut album ‘Water Tower’ in 2019, late-summer welcomes the release of his second long-player project as he debuts on FUSE to deliver ‘Four Point Island’ – becoming only the second artist to release an album on the label after founder Enzo Siragusa. TRACK LISTING: A1. Just Partying, A2. Talking Plants, 1. We Want To, B2. Off To The Stadium

Nicola Brusegan - Bit Mania
A choice selection of four deep. sultry floorfillers from four different artists across this new 12" from 124 Recordings. 'Come To Me' by Chris Fry heads up the selection with sturdy four-to-the-floor foundations hinting a original US garage vibes, all embellished with classy, oozing strings and a stickier-than-gum vocal refrain. Heat Alliance's '74 Streets' is a tad slower and dubbier and as its title suggests, revels in its rude funk and sparkly disco influences processed through some subtly modern filtering action. 'Amsterdam' from Kit Mason combines tripper FX with an irresistible, chunky groove, reminiscent of the soulful delirium of Felix da Housecat's finer moments, while 'Bit Mania' by Nicola Brusegan draws proceedings to a close with a celebratory, summer-slanted slice of uplift built around a nifty 70s-style funky guitar lick. Lots of variety, but everything here is going to get feet headed towards the dancefloor without doubt.

124Recordings return for their final release for 2013,the follow up to the original 'Undeground Frequencies' EP that helped establish the label back in December.Again it features four producers covering all bases of house music.First up and needing no introduction is well respected producer James Johnston with the solid percussive drive of 'Dont Need U' underpinned by a huge reversed bassline, punchy chords and hypnotic female vocal.Next is rising talent Liam Geddes who takes things deeper with 'Besoin D'Amour' with its soothing spoken vocal ,delicate pads complete with depth charge sub and twisted horn sample.Third is the pairing of two producers/label owners,Tom Lynch from WeCtrl/Development Music and Eddie Leader of Hudd Traxx. Here 'Mrs Saturday Night' slowly builds with delicate layers of bubbling synth before a sublime breakdown takes the track into a completely different direction. Finally but by no means least is Banjax with 'Smoked' a real throwback to the warehouse days with its shuddering bass leading into bouncy chords and heavy 909 percussion.

Release #003 see’s the introduction of three French producer's, all are based in Paris with a passion and love for the house sounds from Chicago and Detroit forming a blueprint for the 'Dubble Dubs'EP.First up is Karol Herse aka K-One with 'Escape',a thunderous kick and skipping percussion with hypnotic chords that builds before a great drop takes things down, before building it all back up again into the second half of the track.Next up is Janeret's 'Let's Get Back' with a deep rumbling bassline, raw stab's and almost jazz influenced organ sound takes us back to the early American House sounds of the early 90's,recreating the pure uplifiting nature of those tracks with a modern sensibility perfectly.Next up is Manu Sene or St-Sene with the raw and heavy 'Juke Joint',which makes no compromises with its tough old school drum programming, raw chords and cut-up vocal samples leading to a mighty piano breakdown..Last but by no means least is Janeret's second contribution 'NY Flava',the deepest cut on the EP with a warm bassline and sparse percussion underpinning intricate chord progressions and atmospheric pads. The skills of this trio are here for all to see,and this third release will continue to help build 124 Recordings growing reputation. Support from Milton Jackson, Washerman, Nicholas, The Legendary 1979 Orchestra, James Johnston, Lady Blaktronica and Tomska.

124 Recordings are pleased to introduce their first release,Joey Kay's 'Toy Piano' with a remix courtesy of Washerman.Joey Kay from Chicago has been producing since 1989,and has only chosen to appear on a small number of releases, starting with "Eclectiz" (House Jam - 1994).He has also appeared on the highly influential 'My Love Is Underground Label' MLIU09 in 2012,where his track 'Fill Er Up' was championed by label owner Jeremy Underground Paris. He has also recently appeared on the 'Welcome Back To The Underground' label in Paris WBTTU#3 with the track 'Fewer Than None'.'Toy Piano' is the real sound of Chicago House Music, with its bumping, raw groove, made by one of its own,who was there when it all began. On remix duty we have a man who needs no introduction-Switzerland's Gianni Siravo, aka Azuni aka Washerman. To say he has been prolific in terms of House Music would be an understatement, from Azuni's seminal 'Raw Chord' to 'Here You Come/Believe' with releases on Boe Recordings,Morris Audio, and Compost's Drumpoet Community. It was on the latter label that he became widely know,as Washerman and the massive 'Basement Chord'.Here he takes Joey Kay's original mix and takes it deeper and darker, giving it a Wild Pitch old school flavour. This will be a vinyl only release-enjoy!
