Nachthorn takes its name from one of the 78 stops that make up the main organ in St. Antonius Church in Düsseldorf. This instrument, equipped with a system developed by the German company Sinua, offers the possibility of controlling all of its keyboards and timbres via a computer. The organ thus becomes a powerful synthesiser. This set-up allowed me to fulfil an old dream of mine : to create an entirely acoustic dance music piece with the organ as sole actor. Oscillating between dub techno, harmonic locked grooves or after-hours pop, Nachhorn proposes a hypnotic music piece whose lines sketch the outline of an imaginary warehouse.

Yann Leguay is a Brussels-based French Artist. His approach to sound design for installation, performance and film centers on the materiality of sound. Both as visual artist, sound maker and reverse, he has participated in numerous exhibitions and festival in Europe and beyond. He also composes sound tracks for artist's films and participates in choreographic projects (with Ula Sickle, Studio Kabako...). Yann Leguay's work focuses on everything around sound. Materiality, diversion and tautology are the main ingredients of his work. By modifying the reality of the material (as sounds or real objects) he affects the sensibility of the viewer, changing the perception and relation with materiality. His interest on media and the players that work with it is a clear position on what we are making as utopian, wanting to produce perpetual and solid memory. By deconstructing the elements of this human need, he gives an overview and a distance on the global relation we have with objects and memory.

A slice of international oddball rap from la Baleine 3000, a group composed of Belgian producer Lawrence Le Doux, French DJ Afrojaws, and Japanese MC Illreme. The EP features seven cuts of soft, dreamy beats, vinyl fuzz, and delicate verses that speak to hip-hop's universal appeal and ability to transcend boundaries. As Illreme puts it on 'The Nap', "the story is always over on the way. When does this story end?" Sleeve created on an analog typewriter in the VLEK workshop by Dimitri Runkkari.

On Les Horizons, his second release on Vlek Records, Brussels resident Aymeric de Tapol delivers 7 tracks that explore his love of ghostly drones and proto-techno pulses. Enigmatic, dark yet comfortable, these pieces shed light on another side of his already large pallet of creative zones. Stretching your neck and ears to help you hear where exactly the horizon lies. The play of light on the surface of a lake, at the end of a day or at the very edge between earth and sky all become audible through Aymeric's very detailed evocations. The things happening at that boundary become attractions in their own right, a green incandescence that make you listen closer and closer until the scintillation of the aural image comes to a halt at the end of the night."
