Andrei Antonets has done it again. But while his track „Permanent Departure“ and the accompa- nying dOP remix on the MMR 27 still sought, and found, the meditative magic of the night, these four tracks take no prisoners when it comes to danceability. With a broad spectrum bass drum and a funky, uncomplicated sound design that creates as much jack as it does depth, this latest EP by the Russi- an producer takes aim and heads straight to the heart of the dance floor. Here the low pitched bass, turbulent percussion and mysterious vocals send the most scintillating signals of seemingly endless nights. While „Hellraiser 2017“ and „For me there is no other one (feat. Jake the Rapper)“ on the A-side are still in the lower BPM range, “PD124” on the B-side, ups the pace and therefore the energy level, which is effortlessly maintained for eight minutes. The conclusion comes with “Eto ne son 111”, which pairs heavy drums with wistful melodies in an entirely perfect, non-contradictory fusion.
These four tracks from the MMR 28 as well as the two tracks from the MMR 27 (including dOP remix) also appear in a digital bundle as a mini-album (six tracks) in addition to the vinyl release. More

Constantly on the move, never standing still. Always looking ahead and never back. Everything sooner rather than later. This is what our modern lifestyles feel like, keeping us prisoners in the wake of time while everything around us is in a permanent state of change. It seems as though Andrei Antonets, aka OID, could sing a song, or at least produce a track about it. But rather than the soundtrack to our hurriedness, the Russian musician has seemingly created the opposite with his new track „Permanent Departure“. He achieves this by letting various sounds meander alongside a bass drum for about eleven minutes. Guitars, pads, Hi-Hats, everything comes and goes, arranged with tremendous flair. Antonets has already proven his capability to do exactly this with his project Alexandroid or with his work on labels like Pampa and Sealt Records. The French Band dOP‘s remix on the B-side is much shorter but sends us on the same trip as the original. Shortened to just eight minutes with a slightly new route, the dOP remix takes us directly to the club and peak time for the advanced. If we have to have a departure, then this is the way.

That the Japanese Shu Okuyama has an affinity for German-language titles has been made clear in the past already. This time he comes with "Rotkäppchen" (red-riding hood's) best, "Trockenfleisch" (beef-jerky) in "Rotwein" (red wine) and thereby preserves it. A-Side: Trockenfleisch feat. Rejtek "It's better down below" was, or rather is, the label slogan. You know that when something starts to crawl around in your pants, that holding still just ain't gonna happen. Bass and piano-lines make it clear here. However, the discreet groove-ingredients like slap-bass, diminutive vocals, high-hats and these refined melodies provide the seasoning. Enjoy your meal! B-Side: Rotwein It doesn't always have to be Sake. The red swill with the mighty fine weight cranks the temper just right and drives one a little overweight on the scales. However before you can do a little calisthenics – Shu brings the sounds for the undertaking. One of these "Sweetie I know where we are going tonight, you don't need the jacket" – tracks in the early morning. Here the piano rules. Kanpai!

Taron Trekka stands on the right side. The Alfy Kreisel EP is already the third master plan having to do with deepness with biceps on Milnormodern. The two messrs set about with a small-minded focus to peak & howls, where the genius of the hypnotic compo- sition, and exhilaration is paired up with a sense and contrasted with a subliminal drive. Like on their own planet they sit with a smile and peer out over the party-confetti dusted heavenly bodies: make your circus there. When you're finished with all that bluster, come around. We have some recipes for the mind and the joints that are so addictive, yet without side effects. The drinks are served cold... It's just a lot of fun when Taron Trekkas head banger house is laced with a techno ground. Somehow their sounds have some kind of healing power. Just like their DJ-sets that they happily celebrate at length. This is going for broke without falling unconscious. In the comments you might find a few words along the lines of 'You guys spin records in a metaphorical act of coitus, albeit pulling out just in time'...That just about says it all. Alfy Kreisel: An almost 10 minute repetitive monster where during the process scoops are heaped in without overflowing the pot. Bongo's thrown into the mix to boot. Not your everyday ditty. Knarfes: Steps elegantly with a dub pricking without breaking the surface. Of course by all means you can travel to the UK and from the prospects over there you too can cut and splice a unique handwork together. Porf: Yes folks, the legendary phono-label brings it once again. Taron Trekka has reanimated Porf. At once a dose of select hazy- house-funk, thank you very much.

Taron-Trekka as a DJ & producer duo posses the gift to make people happy, in that they implant in their souls powerfully deep music. The two gentlemen call aloud from the cellar: "Can we kick it?". The audience answers back dancing, "Yes you can!" And so it goes on their second release, for the enthusiast label Milnormodern run by Treplec, which has managed to carve some room when it comes to puffed out beats. The release cycle is a gentle process. In this way such sonic pearls unfold develop to their fullest, without drowning in a flood. "Oooh, a Milnormodern – put it right in the box, ahhh a Taron-Trekka. I'll take that without having to even hear it..." What Taron-Trekka does from the wide field of deepness is fashion a diversity of color and that certain thump that fits right in-between their compositions. Regardless of whether a piece sounds a little held back, somehow it produces a BOOOM. For them, dancing is the vertical expression of the joi de vivre of the body members, based on the horizontal fantasy and an empathy for the physical
